You're quite welcome! whee
I would have hated for that banner to go or risk being altered. Is it just me, or is that Taichi and Yamato? It's been ages since I've touched Digimon, or interrupted my blissful ignorance of slash.

Vague Bad parenting. that's bull. Don't worry about that part, I'm sure they can handle any idiot who says something like that. That's true. And I'm almost certain no one would ever say that. We're pretty good kids. Vague As for your mom's best friend... tell her, if you really feel that close to her. And tell her why you didn't tell your mom. She still might tell your mom, but when your mom finds out, just tell her you're sorry, you didn't want to disappoint her, but you are gay and there's nothing you can do to change it. I know I should tell her. And it's true, there's nothing I can do (or want to do) to change it. I like being attracted to men. Vague BTW, have you told your sister? I'm sure she'd have some advice, if you explain the problem. No. We really don't have that good of a relationship. I mean, we love eachother and have fun when we hang out, but we just don't talk about everything. I really want to tell my friends, but one of my friends would constantly make fun of me for it and another's been jokingly flirting with me all year (I secretly like him, but I don't even know if he's gay. He acts like it, but I know you can't always tell by that). Plus, one of my friends is a Christian who totally thinks it's wierd to be gay. I know people would say "just get new friends" but they were my best friends when they thought I was strait and I hope they will be now.

It's been ages since I've touched Digimon, or interrupted my blissful ignorance of slash. I have no idea who they are...I was on a "Supporters of Yaoi" thread, and I thought this was the cutest banner, and thus the one I liked the most. Sadly, it's also one of the biggest (if not the biggest) of the banners there... apparently causing problems... sweatdrop

Heh. ((Stupid errors aren't letting me post! Grrr)) EDIT: Eep...double posting...sorry all!

Rayne15 Plus, one of my friends is a Christian who totally thinks it's wierd to be gay. I used to have a christian best friend. I have very good reason to suspect he's gay, but he still hasn't come out.(If you'd been close friends with him you would agree there's a good chance he's gay) I feel kinda bad for him if he is gay, 'cause his whole family is really religious, and I'm supposing he grew up sheltered 'cause when he saw From Hell(that movie about Jack the Ripper) he was freaked out, and had never even heard of Jack the Ripper. So, asuming he is(gay), he has to either live a lie being depressed, or accept it and be depressed thinking he's going to hell. But! I'm no longer friends with him because he out of nowhere started calling me spoiled and stuff, and he never bothered to make up, and now he lives nowhere near here. The only reason I know he's not out if he is gay is 'cause one of my friends keeps in contact with him. That was alot longer than I intended >.< Stupid rants... BTW: If you're wondering why he was able to see From Hell when he's so sheltered, he wasn't supposed to. Tiz the reason he wasn't allowed to spend the night at my house anymore =B

Rayne15 Vague when your mom finds out, just tell her you're sorry, you didn't want to disappoint her, but you are gay and there's nothing you can do to change it. I know I should tell her. And it's true, there's nothing I can do (or want to do) to change it. I like being attracted to men. Heh, this is what we call artful manipulation. The point is to do a little acting, and make her feel very guilty for telling you not to be gay by acting like you're really upset about disappointing her. And as I said before, it might help to remind them that you can still get married and have a family, if you want one. Rayne15 Vague BTW, have you told your sister? I'm sure she'd have some advice, if you explain the problem. No. We really don't have that good of a relationship. I mean, we love eachother and have fun when we hang out, but we just don't talk about everything. I understand, but keep in mind she understands what you're going through better than anyone. She was in a similar position once, and she's the only person who knows your parents the same way you do. Rayne15 [I really want to tell my friends, but one of my friends would constantly make fun of me for it and another's been jokingly flirting with me all year (I secretly like him, but I don't even know if he's gay. He acts like it, but I know you can't always tell by that). Plus, one of my friends is a Christian who totally thinks it's wierd to be gay. I know people would say "just get new friends" but they were my best friends when they thought I was strait and I hope they will be now. I'm sure you've heard this before, but if they're not your friends after you come out, they were never real friends to begin with. Just don't start with the one you like so much. It will be hardest to tell him, because if he IS gay, there's a lot of talking to do about what happens next, and if he's NOT gay, then he's probably going to stop flirting with you, and you'll miss the attention. Also, it's "straight". A "strait" is a type of waterway.

Also, it's "straight". A "strait" is a type of waterway. My main concern (besides my family), is telling the friend that I have a crush on. He always acts so shy around me and he can never keep a girlfriend (his last kiss from a girl was in preschool for goodness sake!). I'm just worried that if he isn't gay, the others will think their was something going on between us and start picking on him. He gets embarassed easily and I wouldn't want him to get hurt. So it's a rather odd position you see. And thanks for the spelling lesson! lol And sorry for being such a whiney pain, but I don't really have a lot to turn to right now.

I'm out to my friends and family. I'm pretty femme, and I don't have a girlfriend, so it doesn't really come up in conversations, and most straight people in my area assume everyone is straight. If someone asks me outright or asks if I have a boyfriend, I correct them, but I don't tell people who I first meet for a looong while if we remain friends.
What was this thread about...oh, yes. So, my best friend I tried to tell when I was 16 and confused. I asked her something like, "you know when you see a cute guy, and you're like, 'he's cute!' then you see a cute girl and you think the same thing?" She was like...uh, no. Then when I was about 18 and still confused, I told my mom I thought I might be bisexual, but I didn't know, and she said whatever I discovered about myself would be fine with her (she raised me very open, so I always was comfortable talking about it with her). Then when I was 20 and got my first girlfriend, I came out to my family. Everyone who really mattered to me was really cool with it.
