I have the first season's soundtrack in my cd player right now, and I absolutely LOVE IT. My favorite song has to be Rise ( which I believe is the theme to 2nd Gig).

I translated "I do" from Italian and it was really strange and surreal...Like all the other songs. xD
I love that song so much...Its all like "-A bunch of italian that just sounds pretty then softly "I do....I do...." I dont know why I like it so much...
Beauty is within us is so sad...but I dunno...Its so melodramatic that sometimes I can be in the mood for it. xD Doesnt make any sense...Oh well...
I also like "what's it for" and "Psychedelic soul" just 'cause they're so damn depressing...

"I Can't Be Cool" is depressing too. I looked it up. But it has a surreal melody, so it sounds more like an Evanescence song.

The1Joebob The ghostintheshell.tv site flash play's some of the songs, but most of them are new. Motoko has the Inner Universe CGI into for season one in her profile. I have MP3s or all of the songs on the first and second soundtrack of SAC1. Soon, I'll upload them all and make playlists so everyone can listen to them easily 4laugh What is the name of third track on www.ghostintheshell.tv I can't seem to find out.... gonk

Yoko Kanno is a genius. All the music she makes, Wolf's Rain, GitS, Cowboy Bebop, and Escaflowne never disappoint me... ever. Yoko Kanno's music is so great I wouldn't consider her one of those random music makers. She is a true artist when it comes to music.
