Huh, somehow I managed to pick myself as the winning response from a bottle I didn't write anything in and didn't send out. confused WTF? All I did was open the bottle in my tank. LOL!!! I think they are having MUCH trouble w/ the bottles. I wonder if your bottle "went out". Maybe it failed to launch & picking your own answer was how the computer compensated for "forgetting"? Did you get both headphones or just one set?
I've been answering at least one bottle a day. But ever since last week, I've never arrived at the confirmation page that my response finished saving. So I have no idea if the computer thinks I have responded or not. (Interesting!)

Whatsit found himself in a bottle with the wrong message and tank as well. They have done something to the bottles that has confused them greatly.
As to the blue phones and the red headphones....DON'T sell them on the Marketplace, sell them back through Inventory. You will get your 250 gold every time.

New tank developments I have lately noticed:
--Skittles Fish. Reportedly from watching a video on the Skittles profile which was never announced, and the link is now gone.
--Skittles to feed your fish. This seems unwise. What fish is going to thrive on sugar and artificial coloring?
And Whatsit has gone cow mad for the aquarium cows. He is trying to get a thread for cow tanks started.
