The kobolds, using the shifty nature of their race, maneuver and weave their way through combat.
[The kobold racial power is an at-will in which they can shift as a minor action. This allows them to use their move action to shift or move at full speed, so they can shift twice a round and fight still.]
The skirmishers, spears at the ready, move to finish Elred once more. However, even though the one who moves into flank manages to sneak by the Eladrin Warlord, the Human Fighter had kept his eye on his mark and punished the kobold for his lack of discretion with a scar across his chest. This act disrupted the kobolds' formation enough for Elred to parry their spear thrusts with his own polearm.
[The kobold skirmisher directly north of Elred shifted twice, once diagonally between Elred and Martell, then again into flank. However, that means that he shifted while adjacent to Elred (and he was marked), provoking the Fighter's Combat Challenge. (However, I messed up... Elred shouldn't have gotten his wisdom to attack because it wasn't an opportunity attack, it was an immediate interrupt basic attack. He still hit though even if he didn't get his wisdom to attack.)]
The slingers ran away, one shifting away from the onslaught it received at the blades of the Elven Ranger. Both then targetted Irimannar in a combination attack. However, Irimannar was too quick on his feet as dodged one of them, the other slamming into his side. His clothes once more caught fire.
[Irimannar takes 2 ongoing fire damage (remember that you take it at the beginning of your next turn, and then save at the end of that turn).]
Lord Berrian Martell's turn.
