Keith Valken Lionheart I'd like to participate. Is a Workshop of sorts being done? I'd like to offer my space for us men and women of bright minds to work with our projects. That would be a very welcome addition, good sir!

Hmm, stupid question, how do you make it seem dark inside the house? Mine's too bright ><
Also, I'd like my house to be added to the list. I'm working on a gunsmith shop.

Great! We now have four new people added to the list:
Traitor Joesephina Akonite Keith Valken Lionheart Xtopher
Thanks for helping out you guys! =] Seen a few of your houses already and they look great! x3 That brings our total to 21. Three more, and I think we'll have the minimum number for moving.
Xtopher, when you are in the house editor, click the view button next to the edit button to enter the view mode. Here there is an icon of a sun in the upper right corner which you can click to turn off or on the sunlight, and you can click on light fixtures to turn them on.

Personally, I'm reluctant to move with only 24 people - I'd much rather we filled it, even if its with mules*.
* I can pay for them to move out so someone can move in later.
Go! Tell you friends! Bring more people here, doesn't matter if their houses are finished or not. If you have a mule (and enough money), make a shop and a house.

I've decided that the sub-forum 'New Crystal Palace' - which has been largely unused - will soon become the in-guild area for the Steampunk Housing Project.
More will be revealed later; but it should stream-line this whole thing (I hope), better organise it, and help facilitate the upcoming (still) event.

The number of housing plots in a town varies from 4 to about 7. I think if it looks like 24 people is all we can get then we should move then, but you're right. We should have a type of grace space held by mules in case others want to join for at least one or two more plots. So we're probably looking for a town that has 5 or 6 plots, which means we'll have to fill it with 30-36 houses.

I've never actually been to towns, I'm ashamed to say. Not knowing how this works, I'm still eager to move. I have two friends that may move as well, and two sisters that I will try and convince! pirate

If you need any help planning the event or bringing it into motion, just send me a PM. I'm not exceptionally talented in anything, but I can do a few things, like writing up posts, making simple graphics, etc.

I'll be using my mule's houses for my steambot workshop and my own house for my home (so there is two houses). I've got the stuff I need but I too am having problems with the housing editor. I'll get back with you.

I've been to town before but I have no idea what the moving process is like and I want to make sure that some non-steampunk person (God forbid!) doesn't move in because of my slowness. So maybe when we switch over to the other sub-forum we should have a sticky there explaining the process and all of the numbers/codes/town data we need to move, after you've created the town of course. BTW, Sir Regulus. My house will be a gunsmith so you can put it on the list.
