Prince of Synful Shadows I've read the first Fruits Basket. I liked it, but it was a little fast paced and confusing. O.o I still haven't found it anywhere so I haven't bought it. I did buy a manga a couple weeks ago called "Re razz lay" it's on the Tokyo Pop website. I only bought the first one because I was too cheap to spend ten more dollars. Which I regret doing because it was an awesome manga. It was about a band so of course I was hooked on it... My friend has gotten me into a manga called Legal Drug and one called Silver Diamond. Both are yaoi. Which is more...graphic then slash, I guess... but they're really good. Hmm...I'll check that one out though. I'll see if I can read in online... Fruits Basket is very confusing at first, but things become clearer as you continue to read.

Where to begin???!!!
1. There are so many Goth cliches, I wanted to gag. [see the example after number 4]
2. The main character is a total Mary Sue. Every man in the book is in love with her, but, of course, she still sees herself as an outcast.
3. Every book has the same storyline, just with different details. Also, every book has several different plot points and stories that happen. It's like a bunch of short stories tied together and put in a book.
4. The way she always has to describe what she's wearing, in detail, and everything that she owns makes it seem like she has to prove how "goth" she is, and it reminds me horrifyingly of the popular fanfic, "My Immortal". Example: I put on my black lace corset, with white sash around the bottom and pink laces up the back. My skirt was a tight black mini that was ripped at the bottom seams, and my nylons were black with big ripped holes in them. I laced up my big platform combat boots, while looking over at my Nightmare Before Christmas alarm clock to see what time it was. My Hello Batty plushie fell off of the nightstand.[that wasn't a quote from a book, but that's what it's like, only I'm a better writer.]
5. She acts like a stuck up prep in the body of a goth.
6. Her vampire boyfriend, Alexander acts exactly like she does.
7. They call the city she lives in "Dullsville". Seriously, the actual name of the town is never said, it's always just called "Dullsville". And there's another town that she ventures to that they call "Hipsterville". The author was just too damn lazy to pick the name of any city in the US, I guess. Or perhaps she wanted to be "original". If so, she failed. Really badly.

HarvestGoddess1993 What is everyone's thoughts on twilight? People keep asking me to read it and I've heard from alot of people that it sucks. What does anyone here think? The Twilight series isn't bad, but it isn't the greatest. even though i stopped reading the third one in the middle and just quit right there. but it's overrated.

I Looovvveeee Harry Potter. even though i think bad things need to leave Harry alone. i cried when Sirius died. i wanted to kill Belatrix so badly. it seems every bad thing just revolves around Harry. Harry=Rebel x_Clairvoyant_x What are your favorites? This applies to manga too, of course. Favorite Books of Mine: Twilight Harry Potter A Share of Freedom Among the Hidden + Among the Imposters (I want to read the rest of the series!) I think it's better than Twilight. D:
