Eli jumped with glee, and took his hand, taking him deeper into the abyss of the hollow tree trunk. It fell steeply, and she slipped and slid all the way down, but kept her balance, supporting Xiphias on the way down. When they reached the bottom, it was cool and dark, but that wasn't what gave Eli chills. Walking through a curtain of tree roots, she gave a light smile as she showed him. "This tree is who knows how old, and the pixies loved it so much. They feed it with magic and other special potions, making it strong and magical too." They were in a cavern of roots, glittering with a soft light, that seemed to change color every few feet. "This is the hardest material anywhere. The problem is, nobody knows how to mine it. So now it's just a pretty spot for travelers to relax in," she sighed happily. "When do you think Aras will be done? And if you want to explore anymore, you might get a little damp, we are under a tree after all."

((sorry if it took so long for me to reply. My computer caught a virus and wouldn't let me on the net so im at my friends house typing it))
Xiphias followed Eli down the abyss. Once he saw the tree he stood silent and observed it. He looked around at the magnificant site and then back at Eli. "Uh...i don't know, but she'll be able to catch up." Xiphias took a few steps to look at the colorful walls. He touched it and smiled. "There is no need for people to mine this. They'll only sell it for their own benefit, leaving this place into nothing." Xiphias looked over at Eli, "I would like to see the rest of what this place has."

Kiamaru walked slowly through the thick forest. She was lost, tired, and lonely. She walked between a cat demon and Wicket (sorry i forgot what you were) without noticing either. Then she stiffened, the wid had blown their scents into her face. She was currently in the form of a cat demon, though she was sure her scent the wind was swirlign around betraye her. As of now, she looked at lot like Rhinoa, but taller with more human-ish features. She knew both the cat demon and Wicket had seen her, but she ducked behind a tree hoping that they'd be too busy with fighting to remember her. She pulled her cloak closer to her. And silently called for Rhinoa, missing her precious kitten gaurdian. She fingered the large bone whistle hung around her neck, but knew thta if she blew it, the cat demon would hear. Only cat demons and cat gaurdians could hear it. She shivered, wondering if they would kill her. Hunger had chased away all common sense althouhg with her reason and judgement. Now Kiamaru walked all the time, eating if she found food,a dn resting only when she could walk no farther. She had no idea how long she had been traveling like this. It seemed like forever. Whenever she tried to remember her past, her family, anything, it was like a swirling mist blocked her. All she could remember was being little and running with her kitten. Cat gaurdians aged verry slowly, and hers though probably thousands of years old was still a kitten, but was close to being a yound cat. They lived forever unless killed by the hands of others, as they are quite peaceful. Kiamaru ahd no idea how long her kind lived. It was rumored that shapeshifters lived forever unless brought down by sickness or violence. She knew that she was thousands of years old, but she still looked to be 16!

Wicket was surprised when another kitty-demon walked in between them."Geez, are your kind stupid or something?Like a lamb willingly walking towards a wolf..."He growled at both of them but the demon had already ran behind a tree."Eh? Why does'nt she the smell of a darkness...Is this a trick cat? "he asked Aras.

((Gaara!!?? Wow, she gets new nicknames fast!! We go waaay back.))
Kiamaru sighed in relief when she realized he hadn't caught her scent."Maybe he has a cold....OR, maybe he hasn't smelt a shapeshifter yet! I mean, the wind is blowing my scent right into his face!" She thought to herself, while wondering who he and the cat demon were.

Aras glared at the fake... she knew it but refused to say anything... the whistle had pierced her ears hurting them with the high pitched whistle. She sighed. 'Harmless... both of them...' she muttered to herself

((ty for caring eli *huggles* sry bout my absences but i was totaly swamped in home work and projects.))
Aras smiled crookedly at his anger... it was funnny. she thought about his question for a bit and then answered "Well" she sighed " technically there is only me... no other cat demons for miles as far as i can tell...... I can sense these sorts of things." She said glancing at where the fake cat demon hid.

"Eh? She's not a demon?" Wicket said surprised.Sniffing the air again he had a scent that was smaller but definently there."It does'nt have a darker more demon scent.Just...a cat smell."He then whispered to Aras,"So it's not a demon...What is it then?"

She smiled slightly "And I'm Aras" she stated putting out her hand to shake his. It had been forever since she had talked to some one with out it being strictly for buisness reasons....

Kiamaru almost sighed with relief when she realized that wicket and aras weren't going to fight. She hoped Rhinoa would get eher soon, she had left ehr at the Sanctyary,a safe place that only gaurdian cats can access. Becuase Kiamaru had no idea where she was, she wasn't sure how long it would take her precious kitty to egt here. Aras ahd reacted to the whistle becuse she was cat demon. Kiaamaru sized up the tree she was standign behind, adn decided that she could climb it in this form. She was almost to to a large branch when a smaller one snapped and fell to the ground, makign a lto of noise, along with ehr falling. She managed to grab onto a branch on the way down, but it amde a ton of noise. "I'm soo tired that i sound like and amatuer!" she thought,w ith a slight giggle. She shifted into a huge colorful bird of paradise, one of her favorite forms.

Wicket looked at the hand for a second and then smiled and put his hand into her's and shook it."Well now that were not on fighting terms, whats with the Vampire and the other darker smell I smelt along with yours.I mean Vampires have a strong smell and you reek- Eh?!?"He turned abruptly to the crashing of the branches.Then seeing the cat turn into a bird his eyes widened."A shifter...",Wicket said amazed.Then his eyes quickly went into slants as he stood glaring at the shifter."Well you sure make enough noise.I would'nt be surprised if you've attracted something nasty...and big."Wicket said sniffing the air.I hope she has'nt brought any bounty hunters near here...

Aras shook his hand and when the tree limb crashed down she lept back silently. "Stupid kit." She muttered angrily as she lept up into a tree grabbing her sword incase somthing or someone had heard and was dumb enough to come this way.
