The older woman giggled, shaking the hand that was held out. "Nice to meet you Taki; I'm Chloe." She figured he'd seen her introduced on the stage, but she still felt she should introduce herself personally. "Mom, seriously." Garrett looked down at his mother with an expression matching his tone, taking her hand from his cheek. She was so embarassing! "If he doesn't leave, I'm worried Nadia and Brittany will instead. Besides, he's already sworn I-don't-know-how-many times in front of the kids--if one of us did that, we'd be in huge trouble."

"Well I'll tell him about the rules of that camp. I'm sure he'll understand and keep it down a bit!" the woman smiled, "Everyone gets first time jitters and he's pretty new to town as well! Now go off and play with your little friends dear!"
"The feeling's mutual." It didn't seem like something a kid would say, but the boy had certainly picked up the saying from somewhere. After the handshake, Taki's face seemed to go back to a neutral, somewhat curious expression and his eyes wandered to the door briefly before going back to Chloe. "Miss Chloe, do you know what we're doing after lunch?"
(I'm stalling for time with Bryant and Zach xD)

The male simply shook his head as he headed back over to Brittany. "Whatever mom," he murmured. He didn't say anything to the blonde as he reseated himself across from her. "Ah... I'm not sure," answered the counselor, "Probably going to cabins, I guess..." She also looked toward the door. What was taking Bryant so long...?

"Aah, I wanted to try archery. Do you think they'll have it at camp?" Bryant finally walked back into the cafeteria, trying to look as though nothing had happened. However, if one paid attention, there were hints that blood had been wiped from his lower lip. Needless to say, Zach had not followed the older boy back into the building, but where he was it was hard to say.

"Maybe," Chloe replied, "We'll probably get an activity list soon, so we'll see then." She wasn't used to dealing with precocious children like Taki; it was charming, but at the same time made it a little difficult to communicate. She didn't want to appear condescending. "Bryant!" The moment she saw the older male, Brittany jumped up from her seat and quickly made her way over to him. It didn't take long for her to notice the traces of blood on his lip. "What happened? Are you okay?"

"Alright. Tell me when it comes out, please?" the boy asked though there wasn't a great deal of difference in his tone between his statements and his questions. "It's nothing. I just had a bit of a talk with the new guy," Bryant spoke calmly, smiling as though he was speaking the truth, "It was a little difficult to get him to listen so there was a small struggle. It's nothing to worry about."

"... If you say so." Brittany frowned slightly, not believing a word Bryant spoke. Still, she had to admit it was pretty awesome of him to kick Zach's a**. The more she thought about it, the harder it was not to beam up at him. "Of course," the woman promised, still smiling. She looked up finally and spotted Bryant. "I'll be right back," she spoke, not only to Taki but to the other children who were still nearby. Standing up straight, Chloe staretd toward her classmate.

"See? It's just as I said. So don't worry!" the male spoke, though the likelihood of the younger girl knowing anything about what had really happened was somewhat low. Yes, he had to use force, but there really had not been that big of a fight. Zach had just gotten lucky and landed a hit on the college student's face. Taki watched as Chloe left him to go to the other counselor, a curious expression setting back onto his face. His brother was no where to be found though. Where had he gone off to? The boy could only hope that his brother was in the cabins...

"Ah, Bryant...?" Chloe began as she reached him. She wasn't trying to cut into the conversation--there wasn't one when she got there--but Brittany probably would have seen it that way. "... Where's Zach at?" "Who cares?" spoke the shorter blonde with unabashed contempt, though if it was for Zach, Chloe, or both of them was unclear.

"I'm not really sure, Chloe," Bryant started, rubbing the back of his neck, "I'm sure he's still around camp though-- why do you ask?" It wasn't as though he cared, but he was curious as to why she would ask about the teenage jackass that had been shooting off his mouth earlier. He was so sure that no one amongst the group even liked the boy.

"His little brother wanted to know," explained the woman, "He was asking earlier where you took Zach..." Hopefully the kid wouldn't be worried much. If he asked again, Chloe supposed she could just tell him that Zach was exploring the camp.

"Ah, he has a little brother...?" Bryant started, unsure of how to take the news. He hadn't really remembered anything about a little brother being involved. On one hand, the boy could be extremely similar to the annoying counselor, but on another hand, it could be the complete opposite. Taki watched the counselors for a moment, waiting to see if his brother would walk into the building, but after he decided that he wasn't, the boy hopped off of his seat. "Where are you going?" the boy next to him spoke, looking at him oddly. "I'm going to look for my brother." "Can ya?" "I suppose I can," Taki shrugged, "Anyway, it can't hurt to at least try."

"Yeah," Chloe confirmed with a nod; "Cute kid, and he seems really smart. You wouldn't think they were related." She didn't mention that Taki had said they weren't; she wasn't entirely sure if that was true or not.

"Ah well at least that's one tolerable person," Bryant chuckled, "Well let's just hope that he doesn't grow up with his brother's disagreeable disposition." With little more to say, Taki moved away from the table, heading towards the door that the counselors seemed to be coming in and out of constantly. He hadn't gotten any message that he shouldn't leave the cafeteria so it should have been alright... maybe.

Garrett, though he would have normally noticed Taki leaving (if one of the kids went missing, his mom would freak), he had laid his head down on the table and was taking a break. His failed attempt at confronting his mother had not exactly left him in the best of moods, nor the most attentive. "And I guess it explains why he's here in the first place." Chloe's smile faded when she glanced away from Bryant and toward the door. She only managed to catch sight of it closing, though. "... Did someone just go outside...?" "I didn't see anyone." Brittany jumped at the chance to rejoin the conversation. That Chloe chick sure had some nerve just waltzing over and stealing Bryant's attention!
