Carbs went on today,
we need to replace the fuel filter completely with something generic, as it just gums up the petrol.
Battery is on the charger,
So eta for getting the car running should be sometime next week.

Ok, So I got the carbs on, dropped the tank in and got the car started, she still needs to be tuned up, the tank still needs to be painted up before it gets bolted in and the fuel hose from the tank needs to be cut to fit.
At least she's running though!!!

Now that the sale of my bike is nearly complete, I'm hoping to use that money on the body. So I'm shopping around for quotes.

Here's a picture of the carbs either going in or out. I can't remember.
That little yellow margerine box is what I used to keep all the bolts for the carbs.


This is the nasty fuel filter we replaced.
If you look closely you'll see some gunk at the bottom of the glass. :/
Tried cleaning it out with petrol, but to no avail. You'd be surprised at how much crap that little filter absorbed.



And here is a picture of the generic plastic fuel filter we installed.

Sale of the bike is almost complete, and with that money I will inject life into my car!
