You could bag up the extras and take them to a women's shelter or a nursing home maybe. Then they won't go bad and your butt won't pay the price. LOL

It's a time-honored tradition to send excess cookies to work with your hubby, there by letting him gently brag about his wifes baking skills/domestic talent.
At least it is for SAHM's.

Rena-kit It's a time-honored tradition to send excess cookies to work with your hubby, there by letting him gently brag about his wifes baking skills/domestic talent. At least it is for SAHM's. Ahhh, we'll have to find you some badass stuff to bake then. My good sportsmanship spirit is lacking. WIN I SAY!

I already know the secret to baking great chocolate chip cookies. Real butter and high quality chocolate in chip and bar form! I smash a bar of Ghiardeli's and add the chunks to the cookies with the chips. The smashing part is theraputic too! The only problem with this is my hubby doesn't want to share them with his coworkers and it's like pulling teeth to persuade him to bring some with us to our friends' house. I bake them too rarely and they keep pretty well...

Last night my baby climbed into my lap, poked my boob and told her daddy it was mommy. sweatdrop I think I'd like to stop breastfeeding now... sweatdrop

The best guide for making cookies of any specific consistency is Alton Brown at Food Network. I love that guy's shows. He explains the chemistry of cooking so well!

My baby broke my glasses again! They're titanium so they're extra flexible, unfortunately she's fascinated by that and grabs the earpiece and flexes it until the metal gives way. Why doesn't anyone make Toddler-proof glasses for Mommies? I searched the internet for some and had no luck finding any! crying
