"Who do I work for? That's none of your business!" The Shade began to pace, "Circe will be down here any second now and she's too strong for me, at least now. So I'll need a hostage..."
The Shade looked at Black Lightning and reached a shadow hand out towards him.

"You're gonna use me as a hostage against Circe? Ha! You're stupider than I thought. Circe and I hate each other. She'd just let me die! You haven't really thought this through have you! Silly little man! That's what you are! You're really silly!" BL mocked the Shade as the shadow hand was coming towards him. BL was not at all afraid. He was having the time of his life.

Killer Frost arrived at The Shade's side. "What do u need from Circe. I can talk toher for you." She said looking at The Shade ignoring Black Lightning.

The Shade looked at Black Lightning.
"I don't need you anymore"
The Shade threw Black Lightning through a Shadow portal back to the surface.
