"Three? I thought last year you said it was four."
She turned to Zora.
"I...don't actually know, Ace. I'm only just now getting to know her. I don't think so, though."

"Well if I remember that was when I first met you. That was that year. This is this one." He tucks his hands back into his pocket, "I'm hoping to not get kicked out of another. Parents say they wont bother with giving me an education if I can't learn."

Zora laughed, but there was a tinge of annoyance in it, "Due to the fact that I am still standing here, you could have easily asked ME if there was something wrong." she cleared her throat, "And the answer to that question is no, there is nothing wrong with me. I only said 'Jack' because you seemed to have a thing for using names from a deck of cards." She cut herself off, clenching her bottom jaw, as something flashed behind her eyes. Zora smiled as quickly as the flash passed over. "Understand?"

Ace laughs, "Well my given name is Ace. But a nicknamed I gathered was from the fact I hang with another Ace. They call him Diamond and me Spades. It's easier then saying Ace and us guessing which one they were talking to."

Davi shook her head at Ace.
"You're both crazy. And your parents. What where they thinking, Ace?"
Her watch beeped. She pushed the material of her hoodie back to look at the thing.
"Crap. I've got to go. Behave, both of you. I don't want two of my friends dead or worse."
Davi gave Zora a kiss on the cheek, Ace a friendly hug, before hurrying down the hall, to some other destination.

Zora placed her hand on her cheek where Davi's lips had previously been and smiled slightly, "Nah...I have nothing against...Spades here. And I am sure that if he had something against me he would say it." She looked at Spades after waving to Davi's back. "See you around, Spades"

Ace chuckles his hands tucked in his pockets. "Sure thing toots." He murmurs under his breath before turning and walking away. It was time to find his room.

Davi smiled to herself at Ace's nickname for Zora. She, of course, hadn't gone farther then the nifty doorway directly to the left of the left intersecting hallway. She had been hoping for a goldmine of information, but Toots was pretty darn close to her standards. 'Hm...how can I use this?'
