Two of the injured Xian forced their way back to her, but she cut them down in one motion, while the last two disappeared into the forest again. "Little bastards," Maritma growled at the corpses, wiping the blood form her sword on a cloth she had handy, before moving on with her journey to the village of Dranzeich.
It took her all of half an hour to reach the main road into town, and found the streets to be particularly hyper, and not to her tastes. So Maritma amused herself by walking along a minor bazaar, listening to gossip that the villager's had. "-All the Demons are leaving-" "-Court-" "-Queen-" "Michael is recalling all Slayer-" Maritma was about to turn to the young man mentioning something about her boss Michael when she felt the ground shake under her. The villagers started screaming and diving for cover as Maritma looked around for a source, but could not see over the buildings and small trees.

Sadraha was just a few minutes from his inn and was taking a small stroll through a small bazaar. It didn't have much in the way of wares, but it still was quite packed. He still received stares from people and towered over the crowd. People naturally avoided him like he was the plague but he liked it that way, he didn't have to push his way through the crowd. It was like this wherever he went though so he was used to these kinds of things. He almost at the end of the bazaar when the ground started to shake violently, he stopped where he was and shut his eyes, to help tune out everything else as he started to locate the source of the vibrations.

Sneaking silently through the shadows, Tsuki crept up behind one of the demons and thrust her silver claws through it's voidless chest. Her ears perked up as she watched the demon writhe in pain when the light, if any, faded from it's eyes. Cleaning her claws off on the battlefield, she slunk back into the shadows. Her unique senses told her that another enemy was approaching and she crept up behind the approaching demon. Once behind him, she summoned her tiger, Tora, and watched as he ripped the demon to shreds.

Maritma glanced around the village quickly and became frustrated at the surrounding forest, which would obscure her view no matter which building she scaled to see what "thing" was causing the ground to shake. It was just by chance that she spotted a man- or something- standing out in thew crowd at about the same height as the simple houses, and a weapon at his back, the same length (if not longer) than he was tall. She had no time to dawdle, and if she was right in her assumptions, then they needed to vacate the village as soon as possible. She ran up to the man, with his eyes closed, and tapped him on the bicep to get his attention as she could not reach his shoulder. "Excuse me- Sir," Maritma started.

Sadraha was almost able to ascertain the location of the disturbance under ground, it was simple logic that whatever it was, was big. He felt a small poke at his side and a soft voice, the disturbance made him lose his concentration and therefore lose his progress in tracking the source. He gritted his teeth and opened his red eyes to see who it was. It was just a girl who seemed no bigger than a child to him, but of course everyone was small compared to him," what is it..."

"Do you think you could help me?" Maritma cut to the chase. "I need you to use that weapon of yours and hold it straight up in the air. I'm going to get on the tip of it and look around."

Sadraha looked at her with a raised eyebrow for a moment, it was certainly not a request he heard alot. "it is not my fault when you cut your self then." He said said drawing the massive sword. He kept the cloth wrapped around it most of the time except when he used it. He held the sword point up in the air with one hand. He crouched down and put a hand down for her to step up on.

"Thank you for your concern," she smiled, stepping into the man's hand. "But a punctured foot is nothing to the death of a village, and I can take care of the injury later." She knew it was a long shot to get through the ordeal with no injury, but she was banking on her thick heal and the bone in her foot to prevent major mobility impairment.

Sadraha hoisted her up and allowed her a moment to step on the sword. He did his best to stay steady through the shaking as he hoisted the sword high into the air. He then shut his eyes again and worked on locating the source again. He had no trouble holding the sword in the air even with the increased weight.

Eshana stepped through her portal, ending directly in front of the building hosting the Demon's Court. Her lumonous eyes watched around her before she darted out and made her way to the court's location in the building.

Maritma felt the sword pierce her heal a small fraction as she began to check the surrounding land for signs of the Demon. But when the breeze wafted through her high altitude she knew what and where the demon was. Turning South, She saw it... Asag.. the Rock Demon with a stench so foul, no slayer had tried fighting him.. yet. And as tempted as Maritma was to try, he was not headed for the village, and was not her problem. "He's to the South!" Maritma called down to the Village. "He's not a problem, the shaking will end soon! And you can let me down when you can! Just tilt me to a house or something!"
Zephar was so bored with the Court proceedings at the moment... No women were about- mainly because few were apart of the court- and the Board had yet to arrive, so the debate to begin at sundown had yet to amuse him. Though the King was here, with two of his mistresses behind him, both looking very FAT. He was about to fall asleep on the edge of the stone pillar at the archway into the hall when a lovely body and set of hair caught his eye. creping up behind the maiden, Zephar snickered, "Eshana, are you a sight for sore eyes!"

He took a deep sigh and looked to the dark side of the room "I only do the job so I can pay for my days, never knew there were demons that could be stronger than me..." He lowered his eyelids halfway down, looking weary and disappointed "All this time I fought for power and it still wasn't enough..." He turned away and brushed his forehead, feeling alittle light headed at the moment and quickly passing as fast as it came "I won't lose next time, I won't run away" He gripped the spot where his heart was on his chestplate and tuned back "I swear on my life I will defeat anything that stands in my way, no fear, no doubt, no weakness..."

Ariel all but ignored the man's statement passed that- despite the runaround- this thing was a Slayer. "Michael has recalled all Slayers to the Debate Hall," he told the man bluntly. Knowing his statement was heard, and not caring enough to stay in the room with his message delivered, Ariel turned and opened the door to the hall, and started down the stairs.

Eshana glared at him over her shoulder. "Leave me alone, Zephar. I am in no mood to deal with you." She turned her eyes foward and continued to walk on.

"Oh?" Zephar smiled coyly, following behind the woman. "But the Debate will not start for a few hours yet. And their is really not much to do. We could try something more entertaining."
