"...Um, thanks." she said, walking into the room as well. She noticed that there was a lot of mechs around, even more then what "they" had. Deciding to keep quiet about it, her gun dissipated, and was replaced with a smaller gun, about larger than an Uzi. Some pods had also materialized around her, hovering close to her.

Dozing off, MD jumped out of his skin frightened by the sudden sound of destruction. Crashing into a group of mechs, MD pulled himself up fumbling around a bit. Pieces of the ceiling fell upon him in great quanities damaging his pride even more. "There's going to be retribution for this," MD said sensing something coming. Dashing behind a mech, MD noticed something odd. He saw something shimmering and used his infer red pits to see what it is.
MD smile, a simple trick like invisibility isn't going to work. MD thought this guy was his attacker when something came in view. It was a girl with a fully armor unit placed around her. "Might as well make an entrance," MD smiled tossing in a smoke grenade between the two before pulling out a barrette with his shotgun. BOOM!!

"What the!?" Natsumi shouted, materializing a shield. Just in time too, because she heard a shotgun go off at her. The bullets didn't even scratch her shield.
Throwing her shield to the side, she Charged at him at an intense speed via boosters, readying a punch. When she was close enough, she zig-zagged him and launched her fist to the left side of his face...

Rook was not the type to shoot first and ask questions later, but he didnt have much of a choice. He quickly activated his suit's motion tracker and identified the assailant, which he was baffled by already.
Moving up behind him while Natsumi attacked from the front, Rook switched weapons to his MAWS, not wanting to accidentally harm her. He just held his weapon at a ready, saying: "Youre outnumbered and outclassed. I would recommend that you stand-down."

MD was quite excited as he pumped an empty shell out of the pipe. Aiming at the mechanized girl, she zig-zag out of the line of fire. He then noticed the second one moving behind him muttering something when suddenly she appeared out of no where launching a fist at his left. Instead of fear MD smiled taking the high powered punch across his face.
Launching him into a pile of mechs, he lost his shotgun while being buried under the scraps of metal. "Not bad...not bad at all," MD muttered to himself digging out of the mess. Sadly he couldn't pull himself completely out of the pile with his left leg stuck. With his barrette hand gun still at hand he took aim at the girl unloading fifteen bullets.

Natsumi dodged them all, but not completely. They were just close enough to brush aginst her armor. She, once again, got close enough, but this time, she had a sniper rifle to his head. This one had a sphere prong at the nose of it, which acted as the firing... whatchamacallit... sweatdrop

Rooks looks a little perplexed, but approaches MD cautiously. He lets out an affable laugh and puts his hand on Natsumi's weapon, taking it down from MD's head.
"Merc?" he asks, musing to himself. "You were one of the ones on the radio. I dont think we are enemies. But then, where in the hell is the creature!?"
[Now would be an excellent time to get attacked by it.]

MD continued smiling, throwing his barrette by his shotgun on the metal floor. "Hmm...not bad, you're pretty new with that armor suit aren't ya," MD grinned grabbing the bottom of his jaw and slightly fixing it in place with a sickening sound. "Aim that fist of yours a bit lower and could of cracked my jaw a bit...rookie," MD suggested ignoring the other guy.

((Actually, it already sent a swarm after us.))
"Hm, I'll keep that in mind..." Natsumi said, a bit unsure if it was safe to let him go like that, but she began to hear buzzing sounds comming closer to the group. Checking her radar, they seemed to be comming from all avalible directions.
"Guys, something's coming!"

"Unidentified lifeforms, status looks hostile." Rook quickly switches to his launcher attachment. He turns around and aims, firing a high explosive grenade at the incoming swarm. He keeps firing his machine gun bringing down as many as he can.

((YAY A REAL FIGHT))
MD already sensed them coming and pulled out his machete slowly not to scare the girl. Using it as a lever, he moved the scraps of metal aside. "Cool...something interesting," MD said pulling out his other barrette with his free left hand resting the machete on his right shoulder. MD stood there on the pile as the swarm came into the room. He watched as the fully armored guy unload onto the bugs. There was too much for only him to handle.
Making sure not to get in the guy way. He went after the ones branching off in the left. Jumping upon a platform MD jumped up in the air again popping a few heads with his barrette. Slicing through the rests in a flashing fury before landing. Those he missed rounded a corner and came at him from behind. "Oh please," MD sighed emptying the whole clip into half of the group. He watched them fall to a bloody lump before slicing through the rest in a gory flash.

((Think of them as a silver humanoid praying mantis.))
Natsumi switched her sniper with her basic gun, materializing a couple more pods. She sent them after the swarm as they moved at high speeds, only stopping to fire. She then focused her attention at another group and flew after them, firing at them accurately.

Rook moves to the right side of the swarm changing his MAWS attachment to chainblade while he maneuvered. Upon arriving at a solid position, alternates between giving Natsumi covering fire and brutalizing the Swarm with his chainblade and plasma sword.

Putting his barrette and machete away, MD ran for his shotgun while being chased by a whole group of them. Reaching his shotgun, he ducked under a swing from a bug's arm. Then fired it in it's facer ripping it apart from a shell full of pellets. Jumping over one of the mantis-like-creatures, he pumped his shotgun. After landing behind the menacing creature, he fired the gun in point blank through its back.
The rest of its comrades watched it fall before surrounding MD. More came to help out to neutralize this threat and MD soon found himself surrounded by forty of them. MD simply chuckled to himself while putting his shotgun back on his holster. Moving back the all clung around each other to attack from his rear as a group.
"BIG MISTAKE," MD yelled taking a fighting stance as they fell upon him.
