 エリザベスMe & my friend have speculated over this too.
We came to the conclusion that when Light isn't Kira, L is seme &
when Light is Kira, L is uke.
I think it's very interchangeable though.

Hmmmm, I have always thought of L as seme.
I know that doesn't seem the logical way round... it's just how it is in my head.
The way L is always a step ahead of Light, the way L makes Light think he's got the advantage over him, when in fact it is the other way around...

So many people think L should be seme,but he is too feminine,also usually the more--mascuiline-ish people are seme
L is an Uke!!!!

I participated in 25 seme-uki tests inputting what traits I assumed were true in regards to their personalities. Interestingly, although both came out as seme, 23/25 times, the first test subject, L Lawliet, achieved a superior seme score than the second subject, Light Yagami. In view of the fact that a fan instead of the author, or the fictional characters themselves took part in the test, an elevated degree of human error is conceivable. Especially when taking into account that topics of this nature are at all times up to the individual opinion of the highly biased person involved, so, logically, they are of a rather subjective nature.

actually i think L would probably be to lazy to be the seme. if he was motivated he could though. Light does like the have power.*COUGHgod of the new worldCOUGH* i like either way though, but i think i've read more where l is seme.and i've read alot

I'd have to say that for me - L is uke.
But that doesn't mean he's all like : RAITUUUUHHHH RAEP ME !1ONe!!1.
Most certainly not like that.
They'll fight a lot for dominance but in the Light will win. He is stronger, and has more experience.
Of course I can enjoy Light uke sometimes but it has to be amazing for me to like it. So far I've found 0 Light-uke doujinshi that I like. :'D
I prefer him being uke in so humourus way 8D
