Aww well... the problem I have with Anti-Flag is mainly with how generic their lyrics are. Even for a genre like punk, I expect some sort of lyrical maturity or evolution at some stage. Unless of course you've discovered some awesome style that just works all the way, but Anti-Flag just doesn't have that in my opinion. I mean, right now I'm enjoying Saves The Day's new album more than Anti-Flag's.

well i liked there older stuff really. thought alot of it was incredibly over rated. ie die for your goverment. but they do have some songs that i can still listen to every once in a while. but the band seems to really annoy me now. like i heard something on the end of one of there cds when they were talking at a show. and all they did was make a kung fu grip joke and something about a bear. i guess that annoyed me more...

I really enjoyed Rage Against The Machine's take on political music. They'd have lyrics that were deep enough to make you think, but not so deep you're confused as to what they were singing about. Also having video's that weren't just archived riot/poverty footage helped.

I know that this has been said many times but definitely Metallica's St. Anger. That was the biggest disappointment. I expected a band that has been out since the early '80's to keep their legend going and bring a kick butt album. Wrong. I wanted to burn the cd after listening to it. I definitely like their old stuff better.

I really love Evanescence, but Amy Lee's song "You" just irks me.

I like the old Green Day stuff, but their new songs are just awful, and Weezer was a really good band, too, but Make Believe was dreadful.

Nice to see i'm not the only one who hates St Anger by Metallica...the whole album is just NOT THEM. 'All Within My Hands' is the only decent song on their...but it sounds nothing like the Metallica I fell in love with.
Also...the whole of MCR's 'The Black Parade' may as well be s**t with a plastic case.
