A'ight, nice to meetcha all. Call me Jhgghyu; this is a mule account. xD;
Uhm, I like most things geeky. I play Magic, I'm into anime and manga, and my GM is currently working on a campaign that we're simply calling 'Dragons In Space'. It's a Star-trek style thing using the Fireborn gaming system.
Kinda rambling now...Uhm...Yeah. I'm also an amateur artist.
I'm really bad at making long posts... xD;

Hello hello! I am KidK, and I was pointed in the direction of this guild, and then urged to join, by the lovely Jade Verne. I thought I'd post a little howdy. So...howdy. XD
I am a geek who is prone to get obsessed with one thing/genre or another for a while, and then switch for something else, but I always keep a special place in my heart for everything I've ever fangirled over. For example, I've more recently resurrected my love of early 90s Disney cartoons and movies. Other examples of things I'm a total geek for include old school magical girl anime, Discworld, Firefly, classic video games and some newer ones too, nifty comics in various media, and of course Invader Zim (the fandom I met the Jadekat through). I can also be persuaded to get into more modern cartoons and anime if they're in an interesting style or have a cool premise (Storm Hawks would be an example of this).
I'm also a geek for lawyer/legal stuff, but I'm not sure that counts. XD

Now that I've managed to FIND the intro thread, I will intro.
I'm Han-kun (yes, kun...yes, I'm female...yes, I know......when my comic comes out someday it will all be clear to you.......for now, you can read it (without pictures) at keihime.livejournal.com). I'm staff for Geek.kon, and also have been since pretty much the first day we all sat down and said "you know what would be cool?" I'm not exactly sure what it is I do these days, but I was originally the co-head of promotions and pr along with Romeo_Moon. I guess I still am, but I moved out of Madison to the Twin Cities just before GK07, so I'm a bit limited. I do help decide what anime we're watching.....and I rabidly promote our con whenever I get the chance.
If any of you know about Anime Detour....I'm the new head of marketing for them too.....yay for that!
About me.......I'm not a very well-rounded geek. In fact, some would (and do) call me a pretentious geek snob. In that I pretty much only like anime and manga.......and other things from Japan. I'm a HUGE consumer of Japanese music, so if you love it, or you want to know more...I'm your girl. As for anime...I'll watch anything once, and I'll probably at least find merit in most of it (not all of it....oh goodness not all of it). I'm NOT a gamer, I'm only passively interested in SOME sci-fi, and fantasy entertains me in an "I like the idea of dragons" sense.
I'd give you a list of anime I like....but that's too long. Visit my website, which is linked somewhere to learn more. I will say that if there are pretty anime boys....there's a good chance I like that show.
I will also take this opportunity to fix the image in my signature, since apparently I'm not allowed to hotlink from MY OWN WEBSITE!!!

Hi all. I'm Tsuki Nushi (a girl despite my Avi's gender) I'm 20 years old. I've been an otaku for 16 years, seen/read 289 different anime/manga titles, I am both an anime historian and an expert on otaku culture, a cosplayer, a con survivalist, and an elitist thrasher. (verbally of course)

To start, i'll let you guys have some info on me:
-15 years old
-knows various manga/animes
-loves games
-Much of a study freak/geek, I'm trying to get into Pharmacy when I'm older so I'm working my a** off now.
This is just a rough generalization of me, also I like doing homework/assising with work (hint-hint!).

Hello, everyone! I'm Batfaninjowl! I'm what happens when you mix a bat, faerie, ninja, and owl!~ Call me by whatever you so wish! ^ ^
-I'm 16 years old, and I'm a junior in high school.
-I'm studying to be a plastic surgeon, so I can travel to Vietnam and help children and adults born with cleft palates and other deformities.
-I read manga and watch anime in my spare time, but I mostly play any video game I can.
-I'm pretty good at being able to find that one glitch in a game that allows you unlimited experience, gold, ammo, ect. Being able to 'break' the game's difficulty and finding an easy way around every boss are my specialties.
-I'm that geek you always see in public that's making random games up off the top of their head, trying to get everyone else around them to play too. Ninja/Hunter/Bear anyone? (My version of rock/paper/scissors ^ ^; )
That's enough about me, don't want to take up too much room. Anyway, please take care of me! ^ ^

Nice to meet you! I hope you enjoy the guild. Our Anime sub forum is pretty large. I attend the UW Anime Club here in Madison, WI. I really like xxxHolic and most of CLAMP's stuff. I also like Leigi Matsumoto (Galaxy Express 999, Captain Harlock), Tenchi Muyo, Sailor Moon, Monster, Ouran High School Host Club, and a lot of other shows. I've been watching anime since I was 5, or so, even though I didn't know what it was at the time. I just liked the art and stories.

Name's NinjaKirby22. You can shorten that to whatever you wish. I've been playing video games for 17 years, and, well, you should figure out what my favorite series is. Besides the obvious, I'm also a major fan of strategy games and RPGs, with my favorites being Fire Emblem and Riviera: The Promised Land, respectively, but I'm hoping Fallout 3 will change the latter soon.
I also enjoy playing Magic, but recently took a hiatus from the tournament scene after Grand Prix Kansas City. D&D is another pastime of mine as well whenever I get the chance, although it is quite rare that I get those opportunities, with having to go to college and whatnot.
What else...Oh! I'm also a fan of anime and manga. Anime-wise, my favorite series is Azumanga Daioh for reasons I honestly don't know. Manga-wise, I would have to say my favorite is Love Hina, with Mahou Sensei Negima (pre-magic world) at a close second.
So, yeah, that's pretty much it. Thanks for the invite, whoever it was that sent it...

I know I've been a member for a while, but i have never posted. Damn work schedule, excuse my language.
Well let's see, I'm Strike Valkyrie mk2, but you can call me Striva for short. I'm not a ordinary geek, atleast in my own sense I'm not. Yes, I'm a gamer, I'll admit to that, but not so addicted to it that I'm some 300 pound giant living in my parents basement, no no no. I do work, so I'm lighter than that. I don't like to stay indoors all that much nowadays, so if I'm outside, I'm usually terrorizing the neighborhood with my cheesy robot costumes, which is lots of fun twisted . Speaking of robots, I love to design and build simple ones, though one day it is my dream to create one to take over the world. I do enjoy anime and manga, mostly anything that has to deal with giant robots of course, but I also like other ones if they catch my interest.

Hey, MST3Kbot here if you want just call Bot or MSTK it's all fine. I'm the kind of person who lives in the past mostly ones that aren't mine. I love old games especially ones from the 8-bit eara I grew up close to a NES. This doesn't mean I don't like new things I just really like the 80's.
I'm a Nintendo Fanboy you should see my room(If a highschooler having plushies is wrong I don't want to be right) I also like Sony.
I like to dress in costums but I have never gotten to cosplay(I am hoping to do so at Mecha Con). I enjoy wearing long sleeves and long pants(so if you go down South during the Summer seeing a person in long sleeves and pants probably me).
Once I start on something I keep going especally when posting and the like... my favorite color is red!
