Indril tilted her head, before shrugging. "Don't ask me." She said simply, lifting her violin once more. "I was only out here to relax a bit." She explained, moving to sit on the railing once more, her fingers toying with the strings for a moment.

Nathell shook his head, gripping his staff "I figured as much" he said "Well, unless you need me for anything, I shall take my leave"

Indril gave a light nod of her head, seeming more interested in positioning both herself and the instrument. "Very well." She murmured, still shifting about before she finally found a suitable position.

Nathell bowed slightly, turning on his heel & walked from the balcony "Find me if you should need anything" he said to Indril as he left

"Thank you, majesty." Chenglei responded, bowing his head, then turned to adress his student. "Ito, come here. We're going out." He announced, nodding his head to the side to beckon her.

Ito bowed to the princess, softly excusing herself before rushing out to meet with her master.

Indril gave a nod in response as the mage left. "As always." She murmured, before propping the violin on her shoulder once more. She sighed softly, her eyes drifting closed as she began to play again, thought quietly, letting the sound echo down the corridors of its own accord, as it always did. The reason she played quietly was simple, she did not want to disturb anyone, and the echo made the sound loud enough as it was.

Chenglei walked down the hall with his hands clasped behind his back, smiling silently for a moment before speaking up. "Ito, are you up for a bit of... different training today?" He asked almost playfully, still not turning his head.

Verin's head had lifted upon hearing the door open, she knew he was there well before he spoke. At his words, her head turned slightly, as though to glance back at him through the blindfold. "Talk?" She murmured, slightly confused by this, though she could hardly say she had a problem with it. She slowly nodded her head, her attention going back to the fire. "If that is your wish." She added quietly, simply remaining seated for now. It might be considered rude, but she was in no hurry for him to discover her blindness. Most people reacted badly when they found out.

((Ok Zaydin I know you guys don’t have a lot to talk about and you were just making conversation. But you can’t just go making up crap about my characters past. It expressly says in my profile that Mathew likes learning and thusly would probably not be a pill when it comes to being taught. That would be like one of my characters saying Malik Salas was a terrible soldier back in World War 2. You just can’t do that. If you want to say stuff like that send me a pm asking my permission where we can discuss our characters possible background together.))

The prince walked over to the bed and sat on the opposite side of it facing away from Verin. He had yet to notice her blindfold. He took her behavior as an act of shyness or anxiousness. This was very common for those he brought into his chamber so it did not seem weird to him. He sat there a moment before breaking the ice. “So, my lady, what name do you go by? How did you come into this predicament that you now serve in bondage within my castle?

Verin sighed softly, feeling the heat of the flames upon her pale skin. She turned her head slightly once more upon hearing his question. She was not particularly anxious, now that she was no longer waiting to meet him. "Verin..." She murmured, giving him her name, she was more hesitant with the last part, as she could not remember many of the details of her coming there. "I was brought to Estonia as a child... I believe our countries were at war at the time, I don't remember too well, though. Anyway--I don't know the exact details, but I was brought to the castle only a few months ago." She explained, surprising herself slightly with how freely she was speaking already--having only been there a few minutes at most.

Dresden nodded to her response still not looking at her. It his eyes where unfocused as if looking at something in the distance. He often got like this when he began to ponder. “Tell me, what do you think of the life fate allotted to you? What are your feelings about the bondage you now languish in? Let your words flow free and uninhibited. For remember for tonight you are the noble and I but the servant. There will be no casting of judgment here.”

Verin again hesitated, as though she'd never pondered the subject. Finally, she let out a soft sigh, shaking her head. "I've come to accept it, more or less." She replied quietly, as it was true--for the most part. "It gets lonely, however..." She trailed off here, considering her words, for she was certain he had yet to notice her condition--which was often the cause of such loneliness. Finally, she decided to ask him something, rather than simply answer all of his questions. "...if I may, why do you ask such things? Someone such as you must have something better to be doing..."

The prince laughed and smiled at her question. You may ask all that you please. I’m’ sure I do have better things to do then carry on small talk with slaves. I must seem quite bizarre to you. Perhaps I am an eccentric. The question you pose is quite complicated though I’ll do my best to give it an answer of merit. There are several reasons why you now sit in my room with me while we pass the time with rhetoric.” The prince pauses for a moment as he considered how he wanted to answer her question. “I ask you such questions as these as I honestly value your opinion. It is my job as your ruler to serve you as much as it is your job to serve me. Most nobles have forgotten that. There power and wealth flow to their heads and they forget why they are here in the first place and get the notion that they are somehow greater then their common man. My mind does not suffer from such delusions. I seek to be in touch with those who are unjustly ignored, which is why you, lowest of the low on the social latter, sit in front of me now.” The prince shook his head slightly. Forgive me, I have not fully answered your question, but I will attempt to further explain the reasons why I do this as our conversation progresses.”

Verin remained silent after a moment or so, taking in his words. It seemed to make a bit of sense, when she thought about it, but seemed strange all the same. "I see... I hadn't thought of it that way, I suppose." She said quietly, seeming uncertain now to continue with the conversation from there. Rising from her spot, she walked around the bed, so that he would be able to see her more clearly. "If we are to talk...our backs should not be turned to one another." She explained as she seated herself once more, but not before feeling around to make sure she would not miss and instead fall to the floor.

Li returned to her room, going over the new materials. It seemed the clothes she had picked out for her slave disguise were fine. That was good. Putting the materials down, Li switched into the slave outfit. Now all that was left was getting to Estonia castle. That and getting out with one of th Estonian royal family would be the hard parts.
