Edward yawned. Harvina had told hm to go to class, but he was 'sick'. Sick of class that is. Edward never really liked Herbology so he, on many occasions used it as a makeup hour for his other assignments. Edward began working on his Defense Against the Dark Arts paper on his table by the window.

Harvina got back from Herbology and entered the common room. "Edward, we missed you in class today. Where were you?"

"I'm Edward!" he said quickly but happily. He was using this little introduction as a diversion from his 'absense'. "Ireland? I 'ave an aunt in Ireland, though, she is a bat'y ol' woman... 'nyways, nice to meet ya!"

"Um..I'm sorry you guys but..I just remembered." she put her hand to her hand and then looked at Edward cautiously. She knew how he would react if she said she had to go meet Riaen. He hated him. "I have to go..meet Pixie. In Hogsmead." I'll be back later." She swiftly left, without looking back at Edward, for fear that he would read it on her face that she was lying to him.

Harvina ran into the common room in tears. She wiped them from her cheek, scooped Gypsy up in her arms and went straight into the dormitory to start packing her things.
She grabbed a piece of parchment and a quill and began scribbling on the page.

Riaen,
We're running away. Come get me from my window at nightfall.

She folded it and put it in Atwood's mouth. "Take it to Riaen, in Hogsmeade, probably at the Hog's Head. Go." the bird flew from the window with the note and Harvina was throwing everything into her trunk that she could possibly find of hers.

Harvina heard Pixie's pleas from the girl's dorm. As soon as she heard it she rushed about the room, tripping over Gypsy by accident, to get to the door. She ran past Edward on the couch, who looked extremely confused, and sped up more, almost running into the door, to get to Pixie on the other side. The door swung open--no Pixie. She sat down in the doorway and listened, clearing her mind of everything but Pixie's thoughts. 'Riaen--amulet--Whomping Willow--gone' She made the connection. she knew what significance the amulet had in her relationship with Riaen. If he didn't have it, she couldn't see him during the day. She, however, thought that Riaen was 'gone', rather than the amulet. She immediately ran, trying harder to hear Pixie, to see if she was close. 'tree--grounds' She ran out of the castle at the closest exit and ran until she got to the Whomping Willow. She saw the amulet glowing in the branches, she would retreive it some other time. She ran past it and screamed "PIXIE! RIAEN! DON'T LEAVE! IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!"

Anyone came quickly. Riaen's sillouette carefully stood putside the window or the Ravenclaw dorms. He didn't see anyone in the room, so he carefully pushed the window open slightly and slid through. Inside he closed the window silently and snuck over to the door. Riaen paused and turned back to the bed Harvina sat in last time he was here. He wondered if she would get mad if he decided to lay in it when she went to bed. It was quite tempting.
