Unannounced to the students, Kitsu had set up traps right at the entrance to the paths, just as they entered them. The center path, the most populated one, was rigged with several traps.

Strung through the trees and across the pathway was a mesh "spider's web" of invisible wire, which would ensnare anyone who passed through it. On select wires was a greenish powder, which induced hallucinations if inhaled. Another few wires were rigged to touch sensitive explosive tags, and that if pulled on, would detonate them, sending the wires whipping violently everywhere.

The other paths were rigged with a few traps as well. On either side of their entrances were hollow trees with kunai and senbon in them. If a trip wire was set, they would launch from all directions are the students who passed through.

"maybe you should just chose a path, why should you wait when others have already started." Her shadows murrmered now becoming impatient. "I suppose..." Sitez replied not really paying attention to the shadows, she was busy studying the enterances that lay before her. She noticed that the middle enterance had signs of human enterance, much more than the others. "I think I shall avoid contact with others." Sitez said as she turned to the left path. "Are you sure, there may be a better choice." Her shadows said as they followed her into the left enterance. "I believe so." Sitez was now concentrated on the ground she tred on and her surroundings.

Mara jumped down from the tree and stepped a bit closer to the exit. Pondering it's trapless appearance, she drew a kunai. Getting in a 20 foot range of it, she threw the kunai at the exit so it spun, so it would either cut or pull any triggers in it's path.

((*hopes and dreams that you'll let her hit the wires*))

Mara scowled when nothing seemed to happen. Pondering this, she sat for a moment or two. Then she got out another kunai and threw it so it tumbled through the air again, this time at an angle so it would cut wires near the bottom.

"hit the ground!" the shadows voice screeched into sitez mind as the many weapons flew towards her. Sitez did as she was told, and dropped down in mere seconds. As she did so she completed several hand signs, trying extreamly hard to concentrate on focuseing her chakara. As she finished the signs a few kuni scraped across her back, "hurry!" the shadows screamed now concered for her safety, they had already spread out a bit knowing what would come next. Quickly, Sitez slamed her hand into her shadows. Soon a small black tinted wall rose up out of the ground as a shield began to form around her. As they centered around and hardened the shield wavered as the weapons hit it rapidly. "No time to waste." sitez thought to herself as she tensed her mucels to jump away from here. By this time the shadowed sheild was already beginning to fade, "Now" she said to herself as she saw a break in the projectiles. Pushing off with her hands and feet with all her might Sitez flew through the air, narrowly missing many pointed edges. But unfortunately she could not avoid them all and was struck in the right shoulder and a in the left thigh. Now she landed rather roughly on the ground, skidding a bit due to the fact she was injured and could not land properly. Wincing as she stood Sitez looked back at the spot were she had been momments before, now the ground was covered in kuni, shuriken, and sebon. "That was too close for comfort." she said to the shdows, her voiced strained for she was pulling out the weapons that were now pirceing her skin and muscle. "You need to be more careful," the shadows replied very upset over Sitez's wounds "The next attack might kill you. We need to find the exit as soon as possible." Sitez nodded as she moved forward as best she could while trying to apply presure to her wounds to stop the bleeding.

Kitsu began to slowly clap, not at the fact that Otokage had gotten the crystyal, but by the inginuity of Mara. She had used the simplest of techniques to her advantage, something the other students just didnt think to do. Sometimes simple is best.

Reaching down and snatching the crystal from Otokage he nodded to him.

"Pass." he softly spoke to the boy.

"That Sitez girl is quite strong as well, I will have to keep my eye on her as well as Mara." he thought.

ooc//It seems that the class is over correct? If so then I'm guessing Sitez didn't pass?
