Eowyn looked up at her husband, a little surprised, and laughed, holding his hand. "All the way with no horse, love?" She wrapped her arm around his torso and hugged him, happy to have him there.

"Er. No. Neither could we find Theoden, Theodred or anyone from Rohan. ._. Or any Gondorian, really." Boromir said embarassed. "Though we ran into a fellow who informed me Legolas of Mirkwood is not the ONLY Legolas in the Silmarillion. Dark-haired chap. Seemed most offended. Said there was a Legolas in Gondolin. and then muttered on about 'Misrepresentation' and 'Glory-hogging'." He turned his gaze to Luthien. "By the way, where DID you go?" he asked curiously!

"Ah, well that is nice that you have been spending so much time together." Arwen said, smiling. "Well, I suppose just as I have said before, just travelling a bit." Arwen replied.

Luthien raised an eyebrow at Aragorn, laughing over the 'Legolas' part. "Where did I go, when?"

Arwen turned to Luthien and said "Yes, I didn't know you went anywhere. You told me that you stayed with Eowyn.' Arwen laughed.

"Yes, we had no horses." Faramir said mournfully. "Aye, and I had to spend hours with my boots off since some days I felt as if my feet hurt so much they would fall off!"
Boromir asked "where did you go while we were.. out?"
"Looking for you." Aragorn said regretfully.
Boromir countered. "Well, I for one, having found NO trace of Rohan, headed for the nearest bastion of civilization. There I saw Brenn, an acquaintance of mine who I came in contact with due to trade, talking to a silverhaired fellow with a crown who was agitatedly asking about you, Luthien. Brenn said he hadn't seen you and the fellow he was talking to said that..." he paused for a bit "Pardon my words, I must needs relay them. He said this was all Beren's fault that his baby girl was far from home. >.<" Boromir paused again as if afraid of reprisal. "He was not very pleased with Beren at all. ._. Said something like he wasn't plannign on letting you die with a mortal just because you had er... 'bad taste in husbands'."

Eowyn grinned at her friend knowingly, wondering how Luthien would explain herself.
Luthien turned a little pink. "I did stay with Eowyn.... lately." she looked at Aragorn. "I assume you were referring to the recent expanse of time in which I had no contact with anyone, then? Well, for about the past month, I have indeed been home with Eowyn, but the few months before that..." she paused. "I was out, traveling around, wandering aimlessly for the most part. I found I had grown weary of being confined to walls or property. Mostly I stayed in various forests, making friends with the trees." she smiled whimsically. "I saw no one, or rather more accurately, no one saw me. I didn't abandon you all entirely." she added with a smirk.

Eowyn giggled at the words "baby girl".
Luthien simply stared at Boromir, eyebrows up. She had no idea how to react to this. Partly, she was amused at her father's antics. Partly she was annoyed that her father thought she had bad taste in men. And partly she just missed her father. Finally she managed to say, "Oh dear. I really shall have to visit him. And soon."

"Well that sounds perfectly lovely, Luthien. I find it very refreshing to go and spend some time with the trees." Arwen said happily.

Faramir took out a notepad. "Must make note to self. Must snag Legolas... either will do.. and ask him about elves and their relationships to trees." he murmured curiously to himself
Boromir blinked "ALL elves talk to trees? What do trees have to say?" he asked, curiously

Luthien laughed. "Well it depends on what tree you talk to." A mischievous, happy glint was sparking in her eyes. "Some, as you would expect are very old, and very wise. Some just complain about squirrel droppings."
