You know, desiring a relationship with a person who displays a complete disregard for social norms and rights of others(This means Psychopaths, Sociopaths, serial killers, angsty emo bitches, the works) is actually extremely masochistic behavior. If you actually are physically, mentally, or emotional attracted to someone of this nature, it implies severe psychosexual distress, and deep-seated issues steaming from discouragement of age-expected behaviors at the starting point of adolescence. This is especialy common in girls comming from very religious families or who've had an extremely strict upbringing.
Subconsciously, no matter how perverse they may appear externally, they associate sexual behavior with negative behavior, and this leads to a need to be punished. Girls(And sometimes boys) will find themselves attracted to this type of person knowing very well that they may simply be used, or have their heart broken on multiple occasions.
Put bluntly, Byakuya, Itachi Sephiroth, (occasionly Gaara) and Sesshomaru fangirls, you're all sick ********, no offense intended. I'm trying to make a point)

But in the cases of Sephirot, Naraku, Vold-E-Mart (lol) and Orochimaru, it goes beyond normal S&M. Non-psychologically ******** S&M people take it all as a game, a serious game.
However, Those four (and many others) named above would not just play the dominant, they would probably rip some limbs off their 'lovers' and sit down enjoying the screams of agony.
I know what S&M is about (even though I'm not into it, I don't like scars and marks,) and a relationship with one of those supposedly "awsum" characters from anime and games would imply little S&M and lots of "OHGODNOAKATANADOESN'TGOTHERE!"
Just like Pepsi needs to learn the difference between S&M and the psychological disorder that's often put along with it, every fangirl/boi out there needs to learn some characters don't just act like ******** assholes. They are.
