Laura turned around glaring at him. "That thing is not staying in my parents house. Especially with Hayden here!" She snapped. "She is a girl too, you know! He'll want her too! I want her safe not hunted down and eaten by some beast." She pulled her shoulder away from his hand and started checking each room out slowly and closing the doors after not finding anything.

Which means he can't suck blood. Which means he can't restore his immortality. Trust me, he's not willing to take that risk. And even if you are going to try and hunt him down, are you just going to leave your sister and brother here defencless?" Dimitri asked, frowning unapprovingly. "The only way he'll be leaving this house anytime soon is if he sees you do the same. Vampires have their ways of hiding and running if you hadn't noticed." He said, noting Austin disappearing into bats.

[G]u@r|)ian "Well he hasn't damaged his fangs yet, because he never ACTUALLY bit you. He's at full strength right now, and he's probably got a nasty temper right now, since he didn't get his way." He replied. "Strength and anger arn't really the best things in the world to mix if you know what I mean..."

"Oh fine!" Laura finally groaned putting her sword away. "But I still don't want that thing near Hayden." She told Dimitri as she walked out of the hall and back into the living room.

"Stop talking about me like Im not here! I can defend myself, Im practically the same age as you Laura, I haven't learned nothing from our parents, so stop treatng me like a little girl!" said Hayden. Any kind of vulnerability she hated.

I can defend myself, Im practically the same age as you Laura, I haven't learned nothing from our parents, so stop treatng me like a little girl!" said Hayden. Any kind of vulnerability she hated. "Hayden you know you can't protect yourself as much as you'd like to." She told her sternly. "Do you even know how to defend yourself against a vampire?"

Hayden scowled, she knew how to protect herself! True she was not as equiped and skilled as her brother and sister but she had been teaching herself and had improved. She hated being treated like this.

linzDAC Hayden scowled, she knew how to protect herself! True she was not as equiped and skilled as her brother and sister but she had been teaching herself and had improved. She hated being treated like this. "I'm not trying to hurt you i'm trying to help you!" Laura told her sister. She hated when Hayden was unreasonable. "Why don't you let me teach you some tricks and stuff so you can be ready?" She suggested.

"I know your not trying to hurt me, but Im tired of being the one everyone is worried about. " Hayden sighed and realized that Laura was just trying to be a good big sister. "Alright, you could teach me a few things I guess, but don't treat me like an infant anymore, agreed?"

[G]u@r|)ian Dimitri watched the argument between the family. His only family constantly tried to kill him, and vis versa. He thought that this hunt might be the end of it all though. "I'll help too. These are vampires we're dealing with. Some of the things you teach her might not work." He stated, entering into the conversation.

She snapped. "Vampire or not they're not invincible!" She said stubbornly as she lead her sister over to the couch. "Everyone has a special ability." She explained. "Some certain power they possess that explains their personality. Like me! I'm fire and Jin is the shadows." She told her happily. "You just haven't figured it out yet."

"I'll I've done here is help and try to help, but you know what? You're just not ready for this are you? You snap at every little comment I make and argue with every little suggestion. I'm sure you know their weaknesses don't you? I'm sure you know when they're weak. I'm sure you know the days and the events when they become invincible don't you? I'm sure you know how to track them too? You know what. You seem to be an expert. Fend for yourselves against my brother and your little family enemy, while they both come at you, and burn everything you once knew to the ground... laughing in front of your eyes. I'm done. Find yourself a new hunter." He backed away, then turned, walking out the front door and into the snow. Have fun and try not to die. He thought, with a scowl on his face. mort@| "Hmm?" Austin saw Dimitri leave in a huff. "What's that all about?" But then he grinned. Who cared right? Now the mortals were alone...

Laura got up right when he left. "Stay here Hayden." She told her sister as she rushed after Dimitri. "Wait! Wait a minute!" She shouted running in the snow without even a sweater to keep her warm. "I didn't mean it like that. It's just..." Laura stopped as she crossed her arms her lips chattering. "They're...They're all i have left. I dont want to loose them because of my stupid mistake. You said he's following me, right? So if anything happens to them it would be my fault because I lead him here." She told Austin biting her lip and taking a pause so she could hold back her tears. "i need you...and i hate excepting the fact that i need help...b-but im desperate." She told him now staring at the ground. She hated asking for help but she wasn't about to let him leave just yet. "Please." She added, begging.

[G]u@r|)ian Dimitri stared at her. She didn't seem like the kind of girl to apologize... but she did seem sincere. He sighed and crossed his arms, looking up at the dark snowy sky. "Alright... I know what it's like to have a sibling... just try not to snap AS MUCH and we've got a deal." He held out his hand for her to shake on it.
