Well, I would've had to make a long drive. More than three hours each way. And I've already done two six-hour drives this month. That's enough for me.
I went to Oklahoma the weekend of the 4th to be the best man at a friend's wedding. Which is different from being the best man wherever I go, apparently. Go figure.

Oh, well I can see that 3nodding I wouldn't have wanted to do that either after all that. I think it would have taken me about 6 hours or so...
Ooh, neat. I guess they don't know that your the best man wherever you go...

I should. But so much trouble, you know.
Well, see, the families of the bride and groom decided together to go ahead and start eating before the wedding party was even done taking pictures... There were rugrats running around uncontrolled... Things were half-planned and didn't pan out well... It just wasn't a happy time.
Though, the scaredy-guy WAS there to spook the crap out of a lot...

Know how there's traditional dances at any wedding? There were kids throwing each other around the dance floor through each and every one. Nearly tripping themselves and the bride by stepping on her train, no less.
But this kid, Bryce... You have no idea how easy he was to scare. You could yell "Boo!" and he'd be off running. I felt sorry for him... But I also couldn't not scare him. biggrin
