"Planar travel... Ne'er again... I like it here... The worst I have to deal with is a weak demi-lich. Only one at that...." Vecna poisoned Nelphean's mind... The nightmares that creature gave Nelphean were far too frequent, and even prevented the elf from sleeping at regular intervals.

Idalla evaded Calcryx cautiously, he would be able to spot anything amiss with her, and she didnt feel like making excuses. But with his departure, she gladly stormed the kitchen to catch up on whatever information shed missed out on. Hitting a chair hard, she kicked her feet up on to the table as she often did and smiled wryly to those around her. "Morning folks." Taking one look at Nel's appearance she was momentarily concerned for his well being but caught that the attitude in the air hadnt sunk quite so far yet and relaxed. "When you going for another flying lesson Niah?"

"Flying lessons?" Nelphean smirked. Nailah wasn't experienced enough to create a flying spell, or, the last time he spoke to Nailah she wasn't experinced enough to create said spell. How long was it since the last time Nel talked to Nailah about magics... He shruged.

"So, about that food..."

Niah watched Calcryx walk off and sighed. "That man should not be allowed to play with things like that." She turned to Nelphean and said "Well I don't know exactly what I could do but if you need my help don't hesitate to ask." SHe thought for a moment. "I can feed you if you're hungry." She looked at him a moment and waited for his answer. She really wanted to help. Her stomach growled again impatiently asking for food.

"Yes, innocent, food would be wonderful." Nelphean said to Nailah, as he reached for a nearby wall to lean on, "Even the blind love their meals." He chuckled.

"Niah clearly wants to block it out of her mind. But we took her up into the air and tossed her around a bit. She wont admit it was fun though. Think we might have played a bit too rough though." Smirking uncontrollably as she was now the one trying to hold back uproarous laughter, Idalla sipped a glass of water she'd grabbed to calm herself down. "What about you Nel? Want to learn how to skydive?"

Nailah grabbed Nel's hand and pulled him into the kitchen then led him over to a chair and gently pushed him down. She laughed and said "Oh Nel it was horrible. Idalla and Calcryx decided they wanted to take me flying and then they tossed me up and down in the air. I htought I was going to die." She walked over to the kitchen and opened the fridge. "So what would you like? We have cheesecake one of my personal favorites..." she broke off and started rooting through the fridge. "Apples, oranges...leftovers from one of Saradin's exquisite meals...."

Nelphean grined, "You'll never guess what my favorite method of travelling is." Nelphean said smoothly.

(edit, more material)

"Oh, some oranges and leftover would be nice... Thank you Nailah. I don't know how I will ever be able to repay your kindness." Nelphean said with a hint of slyness.

"Personally, I prefer train." Idalla shot out, trying not to be inquisitive into the obvious remark. Watching the others skitter about the kitchen was all she really needed right now, food wasnt on her mind. "Stop complaining Niah, you know you loved it!"

Niah glared at Idalla. "I'm not even going to glorify that with a reply." She pulled out an orange and some of the leftover spaghetti that Saradin had made and popped it in the microwave. Peeling the orange she cut into slices and walked over to Nelphean. "Here you go." She held the orange up to his lips adn waited. She said "I personally like the ground thank you very much. I prefer to stay on it."

"The constant state of gravety this plane exerts is a godsend. Imagine," Nelphean accepted being feed, and ate the orange, "That walking from this country to the next adjusted the strength of gravity, here you could stand up right, there, you felt like your body was being crushed by the weight of air." Nelphean smiled, "Magic is the cure to all those silly physics."

"People only say that while theyre on the ground. Once they get up there, they can barely contain themselves."
Idalla
"Yes?" She said out of the blue, in response to some minor auditory effect within her head, thinking that shed only misheard one of them speaking. "Someone call me?"

Niah smiled and gave him another piece of orange. "Well I like gravity pretty well too but not when it is pulling me down hundreds of feet so I can go crashing to my death." The microwave beeped and she walked over and took out the heated spaghetti. She grabbed a fork and walked back towards the table. "Do you want to finish the orange or shall we start on the spaghetti?" she asked him. She took an orange piece for herself and bit half of it the juice dripping down her fingers. She carefully licked them and then grabbed a napkin.

"What is spaghetti?" Nelphean said curiously. This world had such delightful things, like refrigerators and ovens. Oh, the joys of technologically advanced society with little to no magical experience.

Sliding out of the bed he raised his hands above his head, stretching out his shoulders and back. He gave a yawn, ears flattening against with the motion, as they normally did. walking like this all the time was starting to be a pain. Literally. Walking from the room, pulling the door shut behind him, he flexed his wings as he made his way down the hall. Then he let them slack, long end feathers dragging along the smooth marble flooring. Raising a hand as he walked on and yawned again he ran it through his hair to give it some type of order...bed hair. Now he knew why Aurahkah almost obsessively brushed her hair. It made sense when you walked in someone else's shoes. He gave a laugh at his own thougths...they were so cliche. He flicked his tail and raised his wings into a normal-well normal for this form- position and continued on. Padding into the kitchen he merely plopped onto the floor, at his usual spot next to the table, cross legged. "Good morning boy and girls..."
