It was horrible to think of him gone, but his sacrifice was not in vain. Ana closed her eyes for a moment, letting the tears flow. Then she opened them and looked up at Angel. As hard as this was for her, it must be worse for him. She gently turned his head, so he was looking at her. "It's ok to be sad Angel. He was family. In a very real way, he was...a part of you for a long time. I'm proud of him too. I know it's the way he'd want to go. But I still miss him. It's ok to miss him Angel."

He sighed and laughed a bit. Ana stared at Angel, hurt evident in her eyes. "Don't say that." she whispered hoarsly. ((Oohh..Ana's got herself quite the sensitive guy hasn't she? xp xd ))

"There you go, saying I smell again." Her tone became hesitant and a bit shy. "Angel, are you...comfortable enough to stay...permanently?" She flushed a bit. "I mean...I know you've been staying with me, but I was thinking you could...maybe....move some of your things in? So you don't have to keep bringing stuff." She lost the shyness in her tone as it became tender. "You're...a part of my life now. I'd really like it if my home reflected that...."

Ana scooted up so that her back was resting against the backboard of the bed. She gently began to run her fingers through Angel's hair as he rested his head in her lap. She looked down at him and smiled. "Anything is fine. I just want to be able to have a part of you here....even when you can't be." She tilted her head curiously. "When did you stop being a monk?"

He nodded. They ordered demons to destroy the entire town. Every last man, woman, and child. The town that my ancesters built, ruled, built the monestary to protect. We where born to protect that town and they destroyed it all. Including my parents, and my sister.

Angelofdeath895 He nodded. They ordered demons to destroy the entire town. Every last man, woman, and child. The town that my ancesters built, ruled, built the monestary to protect. We where born to protect that town and they destroyed it all. Including my parents, and my sister. Ana was speechless with sorrow for Angel. She bent down and kissed his forehead, then rested her cheek on it. Tears gently dropped from her eyes into his hair. "Angel...I...I'm so sorry darling..."

"She was only nine when she died. She had my mothers eyes." He sighed. I fought the demons back, Me, Sactum, and Siranow. We fought the demons back. After words I was excilled and I found my way to the Gaian airforce. From there I met you and Desi." He shrugged and moved again to get comfy.

Ana turned a bit so that she could lay down on the bed without dislodging Angel's head from her lap. She once more began to gently run her fingers though Angel's hair. "So that's why you're so close to Siranow." she said quietly. The last of her resentment for the man melted away. He had been there to help Angel during his greatest need. She determined to apologize to him the next time she saw him.
Her eyes started to drift closed as she stroked Angel's hair. "So Sanctum and you are the last of the..." She paused, trying to remember the family name Siranow had given. "Darkholm family?"

Ana closed her eyes. There were no tears now, only a deep sorrow for Angel and all he had lost. "So you and Sanc...can't have any children? Is...there any way to reopen the spirit realm?"
