"I was collecting plant samples! I would hardly call that theft. It's just like how children pluck flowers to make reaths and give them as gifts to their mothers." He put his glasses back on and found the one lens perfect. Now for the other one.

"Where's your name on it," Fillor bit back sarcasticly. "The forest belongs to itself. Always has, always will. The sample were for me to deal with, nothing else. What I do with them would boggle your primitive mind." He was getting more than anoyed with this pointy eared girl.

Allie clenched her teeth, glaring at the man, "That is besides the point." she shook her head, "You're just determined to be pig-headed aren't you?" she demanded. If she wasn't feeling like she would collapse if she took a step she would have distanced herself from this infuriating man, but thanks to him, she couldn't.

"Well obviously not. This isn't my ship." He pointed back to the ship they were in previously. "Mine is much more comfortable for people who drop in. Old colony ship actually, best in it's class." Fillor grined proudly. It took a year to get it up and running but it was worth it. "No offence to you madam," he said quickly to Rychel.

"None taken." Ryshel realized her mouth had been slightly ajar as they argued. "What happened here is no fault of either of you," she said patiently. "Someone fashioned a device that pulls people from their homes and timelines to the planet we were near before you arrived, and this timeline. For example, I happen to be from a planet relatively close to where we are now, and was misplaced from my time by only a few days. But my friend Kadea is from a time long ago and a planet far far away from here. And speaking of which, I would appreciate it if you two stuck close to this ship while I make some adjustments and figure out where we are. Your sudden arrival threw us off the course that my nav computer plugged in, and quite upset the electronics."
Though maybe it confused the Empire sufficiently as well, she thought hopefully.

Allie was about to argue with the man some more, but decided against it. It was likely she would get no where with speaking with him. She decided, instead, to follow the other woman. Her legs were still a little unsteady, but she was able to walk without falling flat on her face, "You mean you were pulled out of your world too?" she asked in a much more polite tone than that she had been using to argue with the man.
Allie was feeling out of place and a little defencive, but she wanted to at least have one ally in this strange place. It was obvious that these two had a much better idea of these strange machines than she did, but as she looked around, she realized that they were deep in a forest. That was more her territory, but if there were more of these 'ships' around... she would need their know-how.

"Actually, I wasn't pulled off my homeworld, really." Ryshel recalled the events with a frown. "I was in my home galaxy, but traveling somewhere between planets at the time. And I don't feel nearly as out of place as you might; as I said, I arrived in Zefta's orbit only a few days in the future of when I was. So really, I'm not out of place at all."

Allie let this sink in as she watched Ryshel work on her machine. She eyed the 'ship' with a mixture of distrust and curiosity. She had many questions but didn't want to bother the other woman while she was working.

"Zefta you say?" Fillor rubbed the beginnings of a beard on his face. "Fasinating. It must be 200 light years from my previous location, our previous location," he added as he looked at Alliana. "Who ever invented that sort of technology must be some kind of genius! I'd love to talk to the person. Any idea who it is?"

'Light years' this man was talking gibberish. How could Light have years? Just listening to him was giving her a headache... or was it the after effects of the smoke?
She stared into the forest, only half listening to the conversation

Ryshel continued to frown. "More like some kind of mad scientist. According to the others, he was messing with things he didn't understand, which some might call genius, but I call it stupidity. It remains to be seen whether he was hired by the Empire or not; however, we do know that it's now in the wrong hands and must be taken from them before they can bring many more people to Zefta. I hope Cat and Boss and the others are doing alright..." She secretly hoped that the Empire would try to track her and leave the others alone for now, but if her suspicions were correct, and they had the device now, and the whole thing had become methodical rather than accidental...she didn't want to think about it.
