Smiling broader, she could not help herself, "Will not stand for it? So what shall you lay down and do. You never know, sometime in the future, not soon mind you, but in the future you could be planning your own wedding. And you would not care. I have not talked to the watchers much, they are rather secluded, but I have heard how Alex likes to tease you and just likes you in general."

Niah's eyes flashed at the mention of Alex. "Oh that man...he loves to tease me and he loves to get me upset because then he thinks he can just laugh and walk off and I'll 'get over it' or something like that! But it doesn't happen taht way. Nope. I refuse to give in so easily..." She narrowed her eyes. "Did you know about the whole 'whisk Aura off plot'?" she asked looking at Bastet suspiciously.

Flicking around her tail and managing an innocent face, which happened to be true this time, she shook her head, "Nope, woke up one day and poof she was gone. But you have to think that when she comes back, if there is a battle then that technique of Eclipses wont be very useful if he wont do it in front of her." Clucking her tongue she thought some more, "So again, if you will not get over it, then the best course of action is revenge."

"You know I thought about that as well. I figured there was something to do with the whole 'guardian and protecting the family' thing. I just think Aura wouldn't be as upset as he thinks but Eclipse will think what he wants." She looked at Bastet and smiled "Are you willing to help me?" She drained her glass and poured another.

Slyness creeped into Bastet's face and claws. "Sure, revenge is always great fun. Whether mentally or physically with blood. What did you have in mind Nailah? And Eclipse is just being paranoid, but I will let him be for now."

Nailah grinned. "Well he's a Watcher so we aren't going to get away with much. It has to be crafty and well-planned. I can't just hit him. Believe me I've tried. It's one of the things that upsets me so damn much. I also don't want to make him bleed because Aura will kill me if I get blood on her floors. How about some mental anguish...wiht just a touch of physical." She smirked and took another sip. "I do believe that would work nicely. Now what to do?"

"Hm, what to do...?" Downing the rest of her drink, she listened to what Nailah wanted and suddenly smiled, very brightly. Moving over to the sink, she put her glass in there and patted Nailah on the shoulder. "Well, I have to go check on something, however, whenever Alex is up and about again, we can exact your revenge." Grinning evilly, she nodded good night and walked out of the kitchen whistling, as she went about making preparations for something.

This was one reason that the kitchen was the meeting grounds for so many of them. Everyone needed to eat. Idalla and Calcryx both had fallen into this habit as much as the rest of the manors residents and each of them stumbled their ways towards the manor for their own reasons. In separate directions they entered at roughly the same moment, looking across the table in the center to the person at the other door. "Oh hi." They both said with nary a change in expression. Followed by "Hey Nailah." Like clockwork they moved about, in perfect synch, never getting in each others way as they both went through the same cabinets for mostly the same things.

Niah was busy contemplating the best way to exact revenge and did not realize Idalla and Calcryx were in the room. She blinked in surprise when she heard her name thinking it was Bastet back for some reason. Looking at them both she took a sip of her wine and held back a laugh as she watched them move about the kitchen. "Hello. And how are the two of you?"

At the sound of the question, they both winced slightly, unaware that the other was following the same course of action, then turned to her and began to blurt it all out. "My theory of,... Ive been so h... why cant I find... things never seem... if i read one more... if i didnt have my... why in the world do i... how much do you think I...." They both poured on in this manner for a few minutes, exhausting every last bit of willpower they had before both of them plopped into chairs in usison, concluding together with. "I just need a break from it."
"Hey... stop that."
"Stop what?"
"Copying me...."
"Im not! I thought you... MIND READER!"
"Gussied up nerd!"
"Witch!"
"Scaled beast!" Of course they had realized at that moment their rudeness and let their rivalry drop flat with a large showy smile.

Niah blinked. She moved her head back and forth with their insults. It was like a game really. A evil and saidistic game but oh well. She had a feeling this was a long standing ritual between the two of them. Kind of like her and Vincent. OOh this hosuld be fun. "I'm sorry I really didn't catch any of that..." she bit her lip trying desperately to keep from busting into laughter. Somehow she dind't think they'd be too happy to see her in fits of the giggles. It might offend them and that was not something she wanted to do. She took another sip of wine and almost choked trying to hold her laughter in. They were just too much!

Both of them stared blankly at Nailah for a full minute, their smiles fading and nearly gone already, before turning to each other and nodding. "I think she wants to laugh at us Idalla." Calcryx put in first.
"I think youre right charcoal breat... I mean... Calcy." Replied Idalla as they together returned their stares to the young lady. "I think we've found a way to blow of steam..."
"You might be on to something blood sucker. We need to test this. But how?"
"Freefall?"
"I did that once."
"Then again, without the spells?"
"Sounds fun..."

Nailah couldn't help it anymore. She swallowed her wine and busted out laughing. She laughed and laughed until finally she wiped away tears. "You gyys should hear yourselves..." she shook her head and laughed again. "You fight like a married couple. It's oddly touching really." She knew they didn't hate each other. In actuality they really liked each other. She smiled again and looked at the two of them suddenly realizing what they had said. "Freefall?" she said in horror. "Without spells?"

"Well we have known each other longer than most couples have been married. But thats beside the point." Calcryx said, pushing in his chair slowly and nodding to Idalla while circling the table.
"Niah... have you ever flown before?" Idalla quipped with a big smile on her face as she traced around the other side of the table, making sure to block off the doorway out. Now planted on either side they just smiled down over her and waited impatiently for a response.

Niah looked at both of them uncertainty brimming in her eyes. "No...I rather like to stay on the ground..." She sniffed and took another sip of her wine. "But you two go right on aheah. I'm sure you'll be fine. I'll stay here and enjoy my wine."
