Ok, and if Banshi were to possess the frisby and use it to make projections of Jon all over the place how difficult would it be to chase the frisby down and force her out of it?

Well ya, but we'd basically only want to do that if our choice was die and let our opponent tears the fabric of reality to shred or just cross the beams and tear the fabric of reality to shreds most likely followed by our deaths. If we get lucky the two could probably cancel each other out but if Banshi prjected Jon images all over the place I think it would be easier to just have you cast blind on all of us and act as thouhnothing were different except for the sun having gone on a break.

what would be so bad about having me be everywhere? Really wouldn't the only downside be that you would have to like, poke the "me" you'd see before you start talking to make sure that it's really a person before you start talking?

I don't know how much I can help you with the sonar thing... but I suppose if you wanted I could transfigure you into a bat. You know... it's the least I could do to help out.

The idea was more like which of us would stumble around in the dark blind and disoriented and which of us would be able to more easily walk around and stop to chat with whoever was around.
It also would have the effect of instead of Banshi seeing- say... 50,003 Jons she'd see 0 and would likely find a way to reverse the trouble herself.

I was trying to predict what Banshiwould do with that thing. I don't exactly understan why but it seems like the sort of thing she would do.

I submit that there is neither rhyme nor reason for most of Banshi's actions, thus making prediction nigh impossible.

There is such a tampering failsafe inherent in the system. If she was to posses it, it would capture and trap her esensce like those cool things from Ghostbusters, and she would be unable to make any alterations. 3nodding

The Chinese used to have some beleif that there were things you could understand through reason and other things that you had to just- intuit. It goes against reason to predict what Banshi would do but when she finds herself unable to appear as Rayn and sneaketh about it something in my head just screams that she'd make more of you to at least look at.
Perhaps I think this because without being able to change her own appearance most options are exhausted leaving onl a few.

Now, here's something to think about: If something is basically incaporial, why bother sticking to one physical image? Why can't she just change her form at will?

Residual Self Image. You just can't change the way you feel you look. Banshi's life is probably full of loathing and self-pity that she cannot look like the object of her beloved's desire, so there is no way she could force herself to look like Rayn.
On another note, I can't help typing Ryan the first time I try to type Rayn.
