"Hah, I guess that explains how I ended up with you doesn't it?" Evette remarked.
She was glad that it was raining because a few tears began to slip from her eyes.
Quieter now, she spoke up. "If I'm so horrible then why do you care what I do? You made it quite clear when you ended us that I'm just a weak, love sick girl."
She turned her back to him. "You didn't care then and you don't care now..."

Kome frowned and began to beg,
"Oh come on, give it a shot then!"
She playfully poked his chest,
"Give me a shot"

"Are you having fun??"
Chou asked quickly, not wanting to be a boring date.

"I didn't care?? I tried to stabilize us after the incident!"
He shouted at her
"You weren't a weak, love sick girl-- you were MY girl, MY girl that got HURT because of things I was doing! Do you realize how guilty I felt!?"
He stepped closer to you,
"It wasn't over for me! Even when I left to the mountain-- I wrote you! I wrote you letters every day-- YOU'RE the one who ignored me and put me aside- you're the one who finished us! It wasn't over for me----"
He panted,
"It still isn't over"
And grabbed her chin swiftly pulling her in to a kiss, shoving her in to him.

"What, you want to fight?" Kanda asked, not catching the hint.
"Ah...I mean I might have to train then." He reasoned to the first offer.

Evette turned her face so Anthony's lips just grazed her cheek.
"Letters?" She stepped away. "What letters? I didn't get anything from you."

She frowned and flirted,
"You're rejecting the ring master's sister?"

She looked back up,
"I was worried you'd be upset to be here!"

"The dozens of letters that I sent you that year-- the ones that I poured my heart in to--"
He stepped towards her again as she stepped away.

"You're lying! There's no way. I didn't get anything from you! I waited and waited- I checked the mail everyday. I checked my emails, I kept my phone by my side for weeks at a time because just maybe, I thought I would hear from you! But I didn't. Not even once and now you're telling me you wrote to me? Shut the hell up!"

"Illegal Street Fighting?! I- Wha-" He quieted down after getting strange looks.
"The Shinsengumi have been trying to find the street fighters for a good while now." He whispered.

Evette shook her head in disbelief.
"I can't believe. I won't believe it!"
Before Anthony could say anymore she dashed off.

Kome smiled and placed her hand on his chest,
"Then come over tomorrow at seven"
Her eyes flickered,
"See you then"
She spun around and left.

Chou gasped,
"well you can't tell them! The shinsengumi can't stop this-- me and Grelle-chan need the money!"
She looked up at him with puppy eyes.
"Oh please, Yamazaki! Keep it a secret!"

Carver remained standing outside, as the rain poured on to him. He, and his nice suit, was soaked, but it was as if he didn't notice.
He didn't know how long he stood there, but he couldn't stay there any longer. He headed around the mansion and back out to the parking lot. It was time to leave.

Kanda fixed his tie as Kome had rumpled it slightly.
"She's so touchy." He mumbled. A woman has never been so forward with him- well, not that he usually let them. "This is what you get when you get involved with people."

Yamazaki shifted his eyes away as he blushed.
"Well..I.. I mean it's my job and....f-fine."

She took no time to look at him, as if all her interest had just vanished. She jogged in to her apartment, simply lifting a hand to him.
Carefully, Suzhou opened the door.
"Evette......??!"
She whispered to see if the coast was clear. She opened Evette's bedroom door slightly to see a huddled figure in her bed.
'She's already home?'

The older woman didn't move in the slightest save for soft breathes that she was controlling. The tears had dried up hours ago but she still could not breathe properly, as if there was some invisible weight pushing against her chest. But, she would not let her pupil see her this weak. Never. She promised since that day, that she would not be weak. And nothing was going to change that.
