In the short moment that Senna spoke of such a feeling, Bobby's expression had turned from a slight dreariness to horror as he stared at her. He was acting as if she had said something unimaginably bad.

It was around that time that Huck had really started to get nervous. He hadn't signed any contract. But inescapable? Stuck in this desolate wasteland of hell that was the Carnival that Siffy-boy had conned him into joining? (Well, not really CONNED, but he coulda said he had a knife thrower . . .) Well he wasn't about to stand for THAT!

"Inescapable? We'll see 'bout that. If we put our heads t'gether we can bust right outta here free as a bird!" he said. Perhaps there was some truth to what the young man said, but he was ALREADY hatching a plan.

"No!"Seth yelled at Huck."This place is now your home and your grave..." The boy spoke in a cold dark tone. He had already disobeyed Mr. Siff to the maximum limit. If he tried anything he would surely bring an end to one of them.

"Seth!"

Senna looked over to him when he mentioned grave. She looked to Huck who mentioned leaving.

"Okay, we will have no talk of death here... Also, we will get out, once we find what's behind this. I'm not sure if I've ever been in a situation like this but I heard myths of real Demon's, Angels, curses and such existing. I thought to myself... kids stories, poppycock. But, since I've been here I've reconsidered."

Huck looked at them . . . s**t, they were really serious! Undaunted he thought a bit.

"Sure as hell ain't mine, kid." he said, adjusting his jacket. Scars from what looked like an attempted hanging appeared on his neck. It was clear that yes, he was a little nervous about things. His death was not one of them. He paused for a minute when Senna mentioned the curse, angels and demons that were about.

"A'right. You wanna stay, y' can. I'm plannin' t' get goin' at dawn to go get some help. If it don't work, I'll stay an' help." he said. He knew he could get outta here. Of course, when he realizes that it's a curse that's keeping all of them stuck there until someone solves the curse, he may live to eat those words.

Seth balled his hand up into fist. He looked at Huck with anger and sorrow. He really wanted to make a new friend but it Huck did this he would die. His eyes began to tear up as he shook his head. "Fine then dig your own grave!" He shouted and took off into the tent. He didn't feel like sticking around any longer if it was just going to get one of them hurt.

"Seth..."

Senna held her hand out to catch him but he ran out of the smaller tent before she could get the chance to stop him.

"I think, maybe he wants some time alone? Huck should we go after him?"

Huck looked at the flap where Seth left and back at Senna.

"Reckon he needs some time t' calm down. Was it something I said?" he asked. Of course, he was a little . . . rusty at that whole "people" think, so if he said something to piss him off, he didn't know about it.

Bobby sneezed again and sniffled as he curled up in the corner of the tent, his arms hiding the majority of his expression.

"...."

William Siff was walking around when he came across Seth who was running about in the storm. Mr. Siff walked into the tent dragging Seth in with him.

"I believe you lost this Senna."

He took Seth over to Senna and set the soaking wet boy down beside her.

"I would like all of you to stay the night in this tent, stay out of the storm. Wouldn't want my workers catching a cold."

Siff walked over to Bobby after setting Seth down and leaned down to whisper to the boy.

"I would keep a close watch on your new friends Bobby. You of all people here know the consiquences."

He smirked and stood back up.

Bobby looked up to meet the man's gaze with slightly widened eyes. The boy already looked strung out, and before long another sneeze escaped him as his head fell back into his arms.

"...."

Senna looked over to siff bewildered that he had caught Seth out there in the rain and came in. Siff was not wet at all, he was wearing his ringmaster coat unfazed by the weather.

"Will? What are you doing in here?"

"Same as you, avoiding work. Avoiding places I should be. After you're done spending time with the kids I want you Mrs. Hale to stay in the freak show. There are plenty of other kids in there."

Siff stood cooly in the tent as he spoke to the others.

Huck raised an eyebrow at Siff, sure he was the one that "hired" him, but somehow something did NOT seem all right with him. At least in the "possessing of all his marbles" department. He was casually working at another tin of something to eat. "I guess this is the housewarmin' party, huh?" he asked to nobody in particular.

Had he known what Siff had done to some of "his" workers here, he would have had a go at the ringmaster's life. But for now, he had a little more things in mind . . . like how the hell he was gonna feed all of these people with what little provisions he had!!

Seth ran out to the rain blindly but wasn't out there for long until Siff caught him. He didn't even try to struggle from the man's tight grip. Once he was set next to Senna he suddenly caught an idea. He knew it was risk but what if it worked? He knew Huck had some kind of escape plan but that would back fire in a minute. He looked up at the ringmaster with a small smirk. "Mr. Siff...may I talk to you alone?" He asked. He was going to attack him of anything he just wanted to talk.

Siff stood and looked coldy at Seth.

"No."

He would not speak of anything with a kid who disobeyed him almost every 10 minutes of the day. He leaned down into a crouch right next to Bobby.

"I don't need food... and I am just here till it stops raining. See what some of my /favorite/ workers are doing."

Bobby slowly cringed inward as Siff drew nearer and held his crouch. Otherwise, the boy froze where he sat.

Siff nudged Bobby a little.

"Not everday I get to spend time with my workers, will you keep your head up young acrobat."

Siff smirked looking towards Bobby.

Senna held Seth closer to her and looked at Mr. Siff.

"Will, with all honesty we're tired, and... I think you really are scaring Bobby. But until it's stopped raining I guess we can't make you leave."

As the boy was nudged, he turned his gaze upwards and stared at nothing in particular. It looked as though there was someone sitting between Senna and Seth.

"Bobby are you okay? You haven't spoken since the cat left."

Senna had her arm wrapped around Seth's shoulders who now sat very close to her because of how she pulled him closer to herself.

Bobby shifted his eyes so he was looking directly to Senna, his expression of bewilderment unchanging.

Seth growled a bit under his breath knowing that Siff would reject his request. He shook his head and let Senna hold hold him. I'll he could do is look at Bobby wishing to help. He could feel Bobby's fear even without his powers. When he saw Siff wouldn't leave him alone he tried to get himself out of Senna's grip to stand up so at least Siff would turn his attention to him and leave Bobby alone.

That's when Huck had gotten up, realizing that some of these workers were actually AFRAID of this guy. He didn't however, directly confront Siff, acting like he was still working on that tin of what read commodity meat.

"I dunno, Senna. Li'l water nevah hurt anyone. The pneumonia could do that right nicely." he said, finally getting the lid open. "Oh . . . if you are headin' out, mind gettin' me a fork?" he asked Siff.
