If anything else was new, Claw could agree with Fang, his twin, that smmer was boring when there was nobody to do anything with... No school, and everybody was away, inclding his parents. But unlike Fang, Claw had refused to go to one of those shrunken places that commoners called a "house". Letting out a depressed sigh, Claw leaned back on the long couch... On ocation, a maid would pass, and Claw would give a wave, maybe a wink, and blow a kiss. But they were all use to his behavior, therefore paying no mind. He couldn't even gross them out without another guy in the mantion. Flexing his large feathery wings to provide some shade to add to the air conditioning, Claw got up off the couch. The large laggon-like pool outside also felt too empty without company. Plus, it was just too darn hot out!
"I'll just go to my room, or whatever..." Claw unbuttoned his shirt, hoping to help himself cool down. That stupid air-condidioning wasn't doing a good enough job! Cursing quietily about the lack of things to do, he turned the corner, and was about to climb up the winding, red carpeted flight of sairs when something caught his eye's attention... A door. There were pleanty of doors in the mantion, but this one... this one was so plain. An old, bare wooden door. Nothing elegant about it. And it certainly didn't fit in with the rest of the place. "Funny...." he muttered "I've never seen this one before..." Claw reached out for the knob, twisted it gently... And was gone from sight. The door was, too.
