Upcoming Features
Q: When are subforums coming out?
A: Subforums are a highly requested feature. There is some engineering work that needs to be done to make it work. Expect Subforum support some time in October 2005.
Q: Will subforums cost gold?
A: Yes, but the price has not yet been determined.
Q: When will I be able to send mass PMs as a captain or crew?
A: Again, this will require siginificant engineering time. Expect this feature October or even later.
So yeah it seems the gold we donate to the guild will just help improve the guild. So ja that was whats in the Captains guild, just thought I would share that with you Turks.

Yes. If I had any gold, I'd have already donated to said guild some time ago. But I have... well, not nearly enough to make any kind of impact.

Oh, and in case anybody's wondering from my last post, though I really kinda doubt it, Air is Ehren's code name. It's essentially just an english word that's pronounced the same as the first syllable of his real name, but it's somewhat fitting. A bit. Kinda. Not entirely. But it sounds cool.

Donate to the guild? Reminds me of when Andrew and Alex had donation wars even when nothing was even close to becoming a feature for guilds.

AterAliquis' first madass combo rant We're just gonna randomly post up the strongest materia combo ever. Well...because we can.Needed: All linked slots on armour and weapon 8x Bolt (Mastered if possable) 1x Quadra magic1x Hp Absorb1x Mp Absorb1x Mp Turbo1x Added Cut 1x Steal as well 1x Magic Counter1x Magic Plus1x W-magicNow, we've color coded this so you can see the links propper, 0 is a materia = is the link.0= 0 Quadra / Bolt 0= 0 Hp Absorb / Bolt 0= 0 Mp Absorb / Bolt 0= 0 Mp Turbo / Bolt 0= 0 Magic Counter / Bolt 0 Magic plus (Can be linked or unlinked, no differance) 0= 0 W-magic / Bolt 0= 0 Added Cut / Bolt 0= 0 Steal as well / Bolt Now, what happens when you set up materia like this is the godlyest combo ever. The bolt can be changed to fire / ice / earth but for this we'll use bolt.
Now when you cast bolt you will cast it 4 times due to Quadra magic (It can't be all'ed because QM don't work with all) each time you cast it you try and steal as well afterwards and then after all that you attack once too! So that's 4 bolts and 4 steals and an attack, but wait, there's more! Because of W-magic it happens ALL OVER AGAIN! So in total you have 8 bolts 8 steals and 2 attacks!
And the Hp / Mp boosters up your Hp / Mp per bolt so you gain Hp / Mp back for doing this. And since the attack has extra power because of Mp Turbo and Magic plus you hit harder and gain back more.
We'd love to see anyone hit that off on a boss and see them live (So long as they don't have bolt resistance)
Just be sure to use a Bolt that ALL the bolt materia have in common (eg Bolt 1, since they all have that, if they don't all have bolt 2 and you use that it won't work) and ofcorse you can cut and custom this for diff bosses or effects.
How is that?!

So... if we do the AVALANCHE attack as the next major thing, are we going to do Sephiroth as well? Pres Shin-Ra really ought to get going to his grave, I think. razz

Um. Nobody's answered, and I wanted to do a proper post... So I've taken some initiative. I've just not-so-stunningly revealed that my character is actually working directly under Rufus, who is trying to coordinate the attack by AVALANCHE on Shin-Ra HQ to kill his old man, putting him in power, and simultaneously being able to eliminate AVALANCHE.
Obviously it's not going to work out in quite that manner, but...
Request: Please don't interfere with Air too much, this will all work out, and reveal something of his own mysteries and past in the process. Weirdly.
No, I'm not trying to take over. He's just an intelligence officer. He has no real power.
Duh.

Don't know about Sephiroth, really, but with so many Turks running around stuffed with Jenova cells ... combat with the resident silver-haired villain might not work out very well. As for AVALANCHE, someone's prolly gonna take over Rude's line of "Would you please press 'up'?" xp
Air's not the only one with no real power, as Natsumi may have proven time and again. smile Oh well.
Have developed a sort of RPer's block. Will post in the main RP later today.
