Girl Scout Cookies: I have not seen them this year! So I got the Grasshopper cookies from the store to satisfy my cravingings.
Anyone watch 'Dog Eat Dog' or 'Lingo' on the game show network? Both are very cool and worth checking out. smile
I crave chocolate sooo very badly lately! domokun I tried the very yummy triple chocolate kitkat bar. Yumm!! domokun heart domokun I hope they keep it! Soo tasty! biggrin heart

The girls scouts around here hunt your soul. eek
They take shifts standing outside grocery stores, they come onto campuses.... I had 3 different girls come to my door. I was afraid, so very afraid.... But those samoas are so freakin delicious......

Sooo..... I got a religion lecture from my mom again this weekend. You know, the whole- "I dont care if you dont go to my church, but you have to pick a church and go to mass. And if you were to have ababy right now, would you even have it baptised?!"
...which would imply that I have to be christian, which is, of course, the only religion in my parents' eyes. Ugh. I hate these talks. I need to ask the bro how he got past their s**t about religion. Hes christian, he just hates church.

Yah, when I moved into my Grams' house a year and a half ago, she gave me the same thing. I had to go to church every sunday (gods KNOW I didn't want to go to her Catholic one!!!!), I couldn't go ANYWHERE unless I was with her, couldn't make or recieve ANY phone calls unless they were APPROVED by her, couldn't eat specific foods, watch TV, read certain books, listen to music, etc. GODS she was a nazi!!!! Her foreign exchange students that stayed with her had more freedom than I did!!! stressed
.....then I asked if I could attend Pagan churches. She told me there WERE none. stare Liar.
Anyways, if it helps, what I did was move out. smile But....that prolly wouldn't work for you..... sweatdrop
I also told my Dad what a control freak she was being (she freaked out when my best friend called cuz she wanted to talk to me cuz we ALWAYS talk. My grandmother had met her and, I thought, loved her. Appearantly not. Know why? Religion.) and he had a nice long.....um......chat with her.
But yah, might not help so much. sweatdrop

I don't even talk to my parents about religion. It is none of their business and I am an adult now. Besides, it is my own life and I will choose the religion I follow with my heart. 3nodding
I mostly kept my questions to myself and also my doubts. I was a shy kid and I still am. I am glad I explored my questions about religion myself. I am a happy Pagan. smile

My mom converted to Catholicism to marry my dad. She's a holiday christian. My dad goes to church, but is more spiritual than religious. He said, and I quote, "I don't give a d**n what you do after you get confirmed, but you are getting confirmed so I can say I did my duty as a Catholic parent". I got confirmed, and aside from being forced to go on holidays, my church attendance is a non-issue. Thankfully.
Silver, do what Grungi did- pick a church they know no one at and go somewhere else while you're "at church". Stealing a missilette (sp?) will solve the "what was the sermon?" problem. 3nodding *shifty eyes* Nooo, I haven't done this.... ninja

Luckily for me my parents are rather openminded. My sister and I automatically took the Roman Catholic relgion because that's technically what my dad is, but apart from a few Christmas sermons when I was younger, I've never really gone to church.
My sister was confirmed, but I was only baptised. Bwa ha.
I can't really give any advise though since I've had it so easy in this area. sweatdrop I just hope things go well for you.

I rather dislike being called by the full name- espeically around here. We need to shorten other peoples names in other ways. hmm... Silver49 shall be Silv. Anyone else with the names silver in their names- use a different part of the name. ^^ This works for me. ^^
