Ryu blushed even more. He then turned to Antares. "So what now? Are we gonna go to the demon kindom now?"

Antares tilted his head in confusion. "How does punching me help make sure it's not a nightmare? Why is it a nightmare anyway?" He asked.
He turned to Ryu and nodded, but remembered something. "Oh...right...do you still have the amulet I gave you?"

Ryu turned to Melody. "So first you insult my demon pride by saying I don't look like one and now you insult me by don't believing that I'm gonna get married?" Ryu said as he now turned to Antares. "Yea. Let me take it out." he said as he reached for his pocket and took out the amulet.

Because Ryu got a girl to say yes to a proposal. That is scary. Also it hurt didn't it? People don't get hurt in dreams. She said as she leaned against a desk. She still held a grudge against him for calling her a princess or whatever. Anna rolled her eyes at Melody. It isn't a nightmare. More like a dream come true. She hugged Ryu tighter.

Ryu laughed. He turned to Anna and kissed her on the forehead. "Well, I gotta admit I'm quite suprised she accepted my proposal too. I guess I'm a lucky guy." Ryu said as he looked at Anna smiling.

Antares cleared his throat for a moment and looked at Ryu with seriousness in his eyes. "Right, well as you know I can't wear that thing as long as I have the royal symbol on." He said, holding up the finger with the ring Ryu gave to him. "I need you to look after it. But under NO circumstances must you actually wear it or let someone else wear it. It has power beyond imagination...but it's also cursed to anyone besides it's chosen host." He spoke with emphasis on the last sentence.

Aw! Why'd it have to be cursed?! I was going to take it and try it on. Melody sighed out of boredom.

Antares turned at Melody, still with a serious look on his face. "Then it's a good thing I'm telling you this now. The symbols of power given to a chosen Sage is very particular. Once it's found the correct host, it won't accept anyone else. Once the amulet feels that it's not me, there's almost a 100% chance it'll purge the person wearing it."

Antares nodded. "I've seen too many people completely obliterated by it before. I'd hate to find out that my star pupil was one of them." He said, relaxing a bit more and smiling.
