Nailah stood there watching as the battle raged. She really hated being so helpless. It seemed though that Nelphean had the battle well in hand. She turned to ask Bastet a question and stopped. The familiar emotions poured through her system. She clinched her fists trying to hold it at bay. Malice, anger, and the need to fight raged through her tempting her to action. She tried to fight the impulse but in the end it was victorious. Growling low in her throat she picked up her ruined nightdress and turned to Bastet. Her eyes glazed over and she pulled the scrap of clothe tight in her fist. She reached over and encircled the weakened cat woman's slim neck pulling it tight and cutting off her breath.

Bastet was still intently thinking, and when she started to reply to Shinga, she heard someone coming towards her. Before she could turn, she felt something clothe around her neck and instantly tensed. When she was going to react, the clothe pulled tight, and she noticed Nailah was pulling it. "Damn it! The emotions..." This and a gagging sound was all she managed. Weak, but now pumping with adrenaline and the will to save her life, she clawed at the thin nightdress, until it was tattered, and fell from her throat. Falling forward she rolled away a short distance, kicking her assailant in the stomach in the process. Then she crouched and watched Nailah, but no matter how hard she tried, she could not stop the anger. "Nailah, fight it." She put away her sai, intent on not hurting her friend much more.

Shin semed to change, slightly, the way she stood, more comanding. "Focus, girl!" she growled, fist clenched at her sides, though the heat in her voice never reached her eyes, which stared coldly at Nailiah. "Focus."

The elf gulped. This was the end for him, and he knew it. He braced himself for impact but instead, he heard a faint crack. He swirled around and saw one of the trolls behind him. Wait, it wasn't a troll. It was a shadow-servant. "Of course!" he thought, "When one of those shadow's die, they leave their original host and seek out another soul-less body." Sure enough, a motionless human body laid in the crater created by the monolith. Nelphean's blade was caught in the Shadow troll's club. With it's free hand, the shadow punched Nelphean in the face with enough force to send him flying backwards. It then yanked out the sword and threw it tip first, aiming between the monolith's eyes.

Nailah growled again, "You little b***h." She held her stomach and swallowed the urge to puke. Raising her eyes they narrowed and her palm filled with lavender fire before she had been feeding off the others rage now she had her own. She tried once again to fight it not wanting to hurt anyone she cared about. The fireball in her hand grew and finally she let it fly at the last moment some semblance of the real Niah came through and the magic was flung in the direction away from Bastet. Coincidently it bounced off the manor wall and hit the ruined and tattered scraps of clothe that was Niah's one and only nightdress. Her fists clenched and she slammed her fist into the stone wall cursing savagely.

Bastet was about to dodge the fire ball, when it went off course, and hit the nightdress. She clutched at her neck protectively, appalled by how much she was off guard to her uncontrolable friend. Though, she could not help but snicker, which lead to laughter, which would hopefully help Nailah, more than it was her at the night dress. Her friend seemed more enraged than ever, as she finished laughing. "Look, Niah. That is what happens when you use things to kill people, they get destroyed. We can buy you more clothes so you will not have to wear that oversized thing forever, but you have to calm down first." Watching the still enraged Nailah, she threw her sai, so it pinned her by the robe, inbetween cracks in the wall. "Now calm down. you have got to get a hold of these emotions." She smirked at her friend, trying to maintain good humor about the situation.

Nelphean was sick of this game. He shot the elf with a beam in mid flight, hitting the elf in the side, draining all of the poor creatures strenght. Nelphean tumbled his landing, and watched the sword cut into Monolith's head.
"Did you just go after my gardener?" Nelphean's jaw droped. How rude. He covered himself with another set of stoneskin layers and dusted off his clothes, and moved to a fighting posturing, replacing the rapier back into the folds of his cloak.
Mononlith, just punched the elf, knocking him witha single blow, and grabed the shadowed troll, and drained the shadowmancy. He pulled the sword from his head, and the metals repaired. The shadow magic was destroyed by the removal of the energies that kept it in this realm. Drained of its magic, the shadow returned to its original state, a ordinary shadow.
Nelphean laughed loudly.
The animated troll fell.

Bastet's laughter reached her and she rolled her eyes. She felt all her anger leave her just as eerily quickly as it came. Nailah sighed and her eyes returned to their normal violet shade. She looked at Bastet and reached up she said, "I'm sorry Bastet but you didn't have to imbed your sai in Aura's manor wall!" Finally she gave up trying to get it out and shook her head. Crossing her arms she glared, "You did it you remove it. And I am taking you up on that promise of clothes." She cringed, "In fact I believe I will go raid your closet now." She knew she had to get out of there obviously she was going to be more of a hindrance and she cursed at the thought of all the training she was going to have to do. Ruefully she glanced at the sai still holding her to the wall. "That is when I get out of here. A little help here Bastet?"

She raised an eyebrow, "Honestly, you try and kill me, and you should be GRATEFUL, that all I did was kick you in the stomach and pin you to the wall. I did prevent you from hurting anyone right? And you better watch that tone with me, if you are still consumed with your own anger, then why should I let you go? Ungrateful freak." She walked closer to her friend, just out of reach, "You may have two outfits, anything on the right side is ceremonial and off limits. You should be happy that I am allowing you that much when I could always have my minions get you. And if you do anything outside of my specifications, I will come after you." Deciding to be nice, she pulled the sai out of the wall, and stepped away from Niah, "I expect more control and maturity from you next time little girl." She turned her nose up at her, and turned towards where the other battle was.

The elf tried to jump to the side but he wasn't fast enough. He felt the beam cut through his side and felt as if something was being pulled out of him. His strength failed him and he slouched over, still standing but unsteady. He could only watch as Nelphean floored him in one punch and as the shadow dispersed and the ogre's body fell to the floor. From it's mouth climbed a scorpion. It skittered towards the second corpes but shriveled got caught in Nelphean's spell, shriveling up into dust. "No..." he said in a hoarse voice, "I...cannot lose. Must...Lord Ultima....revelation...."

Nelphean walked up to the elf, and cast a spell that caused a very deep sleep to overcome the elf. "Minor Stasis..." Nelphean had Monolith pick the elf up.
"Lord Ultima..." Nelphean laughed. "He has a girls name."
Nelphean walked over to the broken bow, and picked up the parts. "Well, that wasn't so hard... Maybe I should not refute killing the elf next time... the fight would have been over sooner if..." Nelphean just paced about.. now what... "Go put the elf in the middle of the forest... away from Ke'Nel."
The Monolith ran off.
"Some one might come looking for him." Nelphean laughed. HE noted to sour looks on the stand-byers... "I noticed Nailah's rage while the fight was raging?"

Nailah bit back a retort because she had tried to kill Bastet even though it was not technically her under control. "Fine," she turned away and muttered "Yes, Mommy Bastet." Then she walked off and found herself in Bastet's room. Looking throught the clothes she thought to herself, I never did try pants but Bastet makes them work pretty well. I wonder... She pulled out a pair of jeans, and a red halter top, and a black dress with a deep V in the front and back much deeper than she normally wore. Niah stopped at Bastet's table and wrote her a note concerning Ay. Finally she walked back into Alex's room and dropped the rob. Then she surveyed the two outfits and chose the jeans and halter for now. She put them on and crawled back in bed wondering whether Alex was awake. She closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.
((Got to go guys, sorry.))

"Or ignore the caring elf..." Nelphean said somewhat saddly. It is hard to talk to these women.

Bastet shook her head and reached for her neck again instinctively. "Yes, ever since a certain incident, she has been rather sensitive. It is as if all of her training never happened. Thankfully, it is usually something we can handle." Standing mostly firm now, she looked to Shinga a moment, "Thank you for trying to help by talking to her, but sometimes she can be hard to get to her when she is like that." Looking back to Nelphean, "Hurt feelings? Or hurt body? I see that your battle is over as well."

The monolith's own shadow suddenly sprang out from under him. They formed themselves into two hands and grabbed the Monolith's ankles, with a tight enough grasp to make it trip. The elf went flying and hit the ground, immediatly becoming conciuse. He stared up at the figure, a look of both relief and fear were in his eyes. He was no older than 16 and was wearing a black cloack over some light armor. "Elite member Ivan?" he gawked at the man next to him, "What are you doing here?" "I came to witness the execution of Vik Maytron. I had no idea it would take you so long. My patience has grown thin." "I'm sorry sir, but..." "What? Was that elf and the giant giving you problems? Look, I brought it down without an effort. You're worthless." Ivan turned around and started walking towards Bastet and the others, with the elf not far behind him.
