She sighed. "Fine...you talk to him." she muttered slightly, barely audible to most human ears. looking back at Enoch, her enitre demeanor had changed. "I know that, Serpent. I also know that if he must die by his own hands, it doens't make sense to go asking people to kill him for you. However, I think you need to understand that I don't take sides like you think one would. I go where the Chaos is strongest, and where I feel like going. Right now thats here. I am sorry that Elias was caught up in this, but at this moment there is nothing any of us can do. When the time comes to choose a side, then I will. untill then, I will help where I see fit, and only then. Do you understand me, Serpent?" she said calmly, though the last was spoken with rising frustration. the Shadow that spoke to her was right, she knew that. she should have doen somehting to help lias before this happened, but there wasn't anything she could think of. At any rate, what was doen, was done, and there was nothing that could be done but move on, and clean up the mess. Shilia, she hated cleaning up messes, and Shinga was no exeption either.

Another moment passed slowly and it seemed as if nothing more would happen but then a small curtain fell from the sky, and landed on the ground next to Saradin. The white cloth lay flat on the ground at first, but then rose up slowly as a shape built up underneath it, until it was fully the size of a kneeling man. Then it swept away by the hand beneath it, revealing Calcryx! as he stood up and tucked the cloth within his robe. "You called?"
"Yes, did Idalla ever do her job?" "Begrudgingly. And she managed to get me into scrubbing the door." "I see. You get everything you need?" "Just a couple more things I could dig up, but I dont know how long it will take. They arent important." "Then we'll make due. Did you call Idalla?" "Yes, but she isnt responding." "Figures"

Saradin's friend. They seemed to be come out of the very wood work. Seemed Saradin was more sociable that he had let on. Or maybe it was more recent, he really didn't know anymore. Usually he would pop in on the man's business as his curious nature would allow him to. Yet, he felt that he shouldn't. Giving a snort to the air he turned his back on them both and padded softly back to the great hall where he sat down in front of the fire that raged int he fireplace, still breathing heavily, as he attempted to let his energy recover itself. In truth his was feeling rather bored an lonely. No one to play with or let alone tease. But he always had the spirits and his training to turn to.

"Where was I? I was standing beside him trying to stop him from destroying himself. I wasn't strong enough, and Shin took over. To be honest, she couldn't handle it, and she snapped. " She sighed tiredly. "I'm not a demon, in the sense your thinking of, anway. And you would be doing me a favor, cutting my heart out. Maybe after that, it wouldn't hurt so damn much!" She snapped, turning on booted heel and walking away. "Get some sleep, Enoch. you're going to need it." She called back softly, before dissapearing down the hall, headed for some where out of the way, where no one would bother her.

Enoch knew that he needed to sleep if he was going to finish what he had started, "I am truly sorry master." he said as he laid back in the chair and feel asleep almost instantly.

Nelphean kicked up his feat and yawned. He guzzled down a smooth drink, and comfortable sat in the chair. How he continued to evade his powerful son was beyond Nel. He just sat and rested his tired body from the massive workout he just undergone.

"Yeah, we'll see about that! C'mon Anna, we'll have to force the answers out of this jerk!"
"Right!" Anna seemed to step right into Ryo's body, a glow of light being produced as one body shared two spirits. Ryo's hair appeared spiked up and in a dark blue color rather than the normal brown. Those who could sense his spiritual energy would notice a large jump in it.
"Two for one eh? This should be more fun than I predicted!" The cloaked man charged at the newfound man, dagger ready to pierce his heart.
"Yeah, you're right." Ryo instantly grasped his partizan and swung it out at the fiend just as he got within its range. It, however, did not do anything to the man! It seemed to....pass right through him!
"What?!? Anna, what's going on!? He's real but...." Ryo jumped to the side to avoid the rampaging figure."
"This is what he was talking about...he's not going to kill your body...he's going to capture your soul! He was toying with us with the carcass crap!"
"EH? Why didn't you tell me this? What can we do?" Ryo was busy dodging the seemingly untouchable character's attacks as he quizzed Anna.
"I....I can't tell you. Angels are sworn not to tell the future...."
"Lovely...looks like I'll have to rely on luck and reckless Roman antics!"

Nelphean walked through the forest and siped his tea. Waiting for the son to come out.
The infuriating parental figure was walking about the forest agian... This time he will not escape.
The sky grew dark, and flaming sphere began to raindown upon the lands, sawing destruction and chaos where ever they happened to land.
The devil enjoyed watching the son attack the father, but these games would not last forever. The devil just enjoyed her temporary pleasure of the panic in her former servent suffering once agian at her whim. Life was good.

Vik's motionless body layed there at the front door. It was amazing how long a corpes could go unnoticed. Not a soul was in sight to give aid or cry for help, and there was no way Vik could possibly do those things himself. His consiusness constantly slipped in and out, leaving large gaps in Vik's memory so he had no idea how long he had been lying there. "What does a guy need to do to get some medical attention arround here?" he thought, "Ring the doorbell?" He slowly lifted his head off the ground and squinted at the Manor. It was only a couple feet away but his strength was failing him. There was only one thing he could do now: Atract Attention. He focused on the window next to the door. Summoning the rest of his strength, he riased his right hand and used his control over the wind to raise the air pressure in the room. After mere seconds, the window exploded, raining shards of glass onto the floor. His hand dropped suddenly and his vision began to blur. He blacked out, once again. But a final thought ran through his head. It was a faint glimer of hope in the consuming darkness.

Another day of wasting away his son's rage, Nelphean rode Snow back to he manor. How Ke'Nel never found this place is a mystery Nelphean did not feel to thrilled with sharing. Watching the lazy sky, Nelphean rode past the gates and into the manor proper.

Bastet sat in her room, amidst a pile of books on magic and specifically the Egyptian practice. She had been up for quite some time, just reading and thinking. Quietly, she put her hands up and muttered a few words in Egyptian. Feeling warmth as she tapped into the enchantment, she exploited that warmth a little and made it move, channeling it through her fingertips so it would shoot out of them. A small, pale light shot out, and dissatisfied with it, she tried to channel more, until finally it seemed as though it was draining her.
Kepi pranced from Nailah's room, which sadly lacked Rasui, and decided to bug Bastet. Coming to her room he reached up and scratched loudly.
Jumping from a scratching noise, the cat woman stopped and stood up on guard, immediately drawing out her sai. "What the?" Opening her door, Kepi flew fast into the room and jumped up onto the bed. Burrowing under the covers, he was soon gone. Narrowed eyes watched the cat, "Yea, thanks for interrupting me spoiled cat. Though I suppose I have been in here too long anyway."
Before she could put her sai away, she turned as she heard a small explosion and ran in that direction. Seeing the blown up window, she went immediately to that area and saw Vik lying motionless on the ground. She ran up to him and checked for signs of life. Finding faint signs, she concentrated again and tried to call back the powers she had just been playing with. "Come on!"

Shin looked up as she heard the breaking glasss, and, seeing Bastet running, she followed, trotting up behind her. "What is it with this place and people being left on the porch, eh?" she asked quietly, crouching beside the man.

Nelphean woke from his lazy dream to hear the sound of the window shattering, and noticed the semi-conscious form on the ground, not too soon after, Bastet rushed through the door.
"Bastet!" Nelphean shouted. "You will never guess what I figured out a while ago... coincidently it should prove amiable right now." Which you might not need if your will suffices...

Noticing Nelphean and Shinga near her, she shook her head and ignored them momentarily. Concentrating, she muttered in Egyptian and felt the warmth again and channeled it once again through her fingers. Letting the light travel out, she held her hands over Vik and concentrated on wanting him healed. Feeling the light come out, she healed him as well as she could and fell back tired, from it being so new to her.
Sitting for a moment to gain her strength back, and let the automatic healing take place, she looked back to them and nodded. "Yes, I am quite tired of the motionless bodies, but at least this one is not dead. And Nelphean, it is good to see you again."
