Zexion lifted his head a bit and looked down at her. "I never thought about any other children, I was always so focussed on Adonia and Veziell." He brushed her bangs out of her face with the tip of his fingers. "What about you, I'm assuming you wouldn't ask such a question unless thinking about it yourself." He leaned in and kissed her forehead. "I don't know, I think two is just the right number. If you wanted more I wouldn't say no, but this is your first time. I think we should make sure we can handle these two first." His hand slipped down as he rubbed her stomach.
Lina strummed her fingers against her cheek as she thought about her father's response, "I call bull s**t." She nodded, but then rolled onto her back. "It doesn't matter really, I just think it's WEIRD. Doesn't she get scared at night? Having to go down the entire hallway can be frightening."
As Eseril and him walked into her father's room, he came forward and set the tray down. "She insisted on making you breakfast."
"Insisted!" She said backing him up as she grinned up at her father. "I'm glad you're happy to see me." In truth she had been questioning his honetly all night about wanting to keep her, but she felt her questioning mind drifting. "I hope you like it!" She said pointing at the tray."
Genesis stood there, did he need help eating? he could only move one hand... and as he looked at the man in the bed, the soft yellow light glistening off his eyes and hair, he never noticed how remarkably handsome he was. More so than other- Oh god. Was it true? Did it finally happen? Was there a possibility that maybe all this time he really prefered men?
Death had finished showering and getting ready for the day. Semi emotionally drained at Marluxia's distance, but knowing she couldn't really speak up about it because there'd be no point. Just had to get the work done. She went down the hallway and stopped at Davien's door, wondering if she should check up on him. She knocked on the door and slowly opened it, "Davien? Are you awake? I just wanted to see if you got some good rest..."

Don shrugged. "Yeah I'll see how this one turns out. I mean, the birthing process, we kinda already know how crazy Adonia is," she remarked, reaching a hand over to grasp onto Zexion's shoulder while she turned and cuddled into him. "Makes me curious, though, if it goes smoothly how hyped up and crazy I'll get about popping kids. I always think they're weird looking when they're younger than a year old. I guess it's because they're all helpless and stare at you really weirdly. And drool. Oh heavens I hate when they're slobbery. My nephew was like that. And I had a cousin who always smelled weird." She thought about babies. Man she really didn't like them at all! "You know...to clear my mind of this topic, I'm going to toy around with you some more." She moved and straddled him, smiling down at Zexion. "What sounds more appealing. Wild and crazy? A quickie? Or sloppy and end up passing out in this position?"
Saix moved to stare at her. Bullshit. She did indeed call it. "Your mom could sleep in the darkest world and probably never be bothered by it. She's the reason why Darkness is called Darkness. Because she loves the night that much." He reached over and gave a comforting stroke to her cheek. "I think sleeping is the only alone time she really gets. Besides, sleeping separately isn't a bad thing. My parents did it." That was also a lie, he could hardly remember his parents anymore.
Xemnas smiled at her words and he reached out gently, pulling her closer so he could give her a kiss on the cheek. "I'm sure I'll enjoy it. In fact, this morning couldn't be any better." He looked at the tray of items. Hmm. He looked at Genesis, "Why don't you cut it up for me?" Would he do it? The contract was in place...this was the test to see if it worked.
Davien looked over at her. He looked a bit worse then yesterday since he had cried himself to sleep and on top of that didn't get that many hours in. It was as if all of his father's bad habits were showing up in him, which only reminded him of why Xemnas hated him so much.
"I-I'm f-fine," he muttered nervously, bashfully keeping his eyes diverted from her as he stayed wrapped in his blankets.

Zexion had smirked at her movements. He arrogantly put his hands up above and behind his head, "Right now babe, I'm all yours." She liked her men smooth right?
Lina thought about what her father said and she carried it out in her mind. "I still think it's weird. I mean what parents can't stand to be in a bed together." She shook her head and sat up from, placing her hands neatly in her lap. She looked back over her shoulder at him. "So what are we gonna do today?"
Genesis nodded, "Of course, Xemnas." Though he realized the eagerness in his voice and cleared his throat. "I mean, yes, I can do that for you since you cannot." He came forward and started to cut up the food. He felt his face flush a bit, was it possible he truly was attracted to this man? When did this sexuality begin emerging? How had he not noticed until NOW, this very day?
Death stepped forward and looked down at Davien, sitting on the edge of the bed. "Are you sure you're feeling okay. You look so worn out." Her hand went out and she touched his forehead, which was rather chilled. "I know." She jokingly grabbed his bicep. "Would you like some chocolate milk, or hot cocoa? That's a great way to wake up in the morning, unless you wanted to keep sleeping?"

Don smirked at his response. Oho, of course he was hers. And she'd let him know that. "Good. Now pay attention...I'd hate to surprise you." Aaaand now to go to work.
Saix would have answered her first question, saying 'do you know what happens when parents get in bed together?' but found that she had changed the subject. All for the better, at least. What to do today. His eyes glanced at the window, noticing it wasn't as nice out as yesterday. "You know, we should clean your rooms. If everyone gets their rooms cleaned and organize, I'll take all of you out to eat. Maybe...at your favorite restaurant?" His kids seemed notorious in making a giant mess and hording things. He had been there and done things like that. But he wanted to at least wear them out and get something accomplished, too. Besides, he had never seen Davien clean his room in his life, and he knew that kid stole a lot of things in his lifetime. Now that it was back to square one, he wondered if he could teach all of them some better habits?
He sat up and stretched, listening to his back crack. "Sound like a deal?"
Xemnas felt pleasantly surprised at Genesis's words. Ah. It was working, and how nice it was, too. "Are you here to watch me as well? I'm feeling better but I wouldn't mind the company," he said to Genesis. Then his eyes went back to Eseril. "It's a pity I can't do much yet. I'd have liked to spend some time with you outside. I don't want to keep you cooped up here in my room." He couldn't imagine Eseril having the patience to sit with him all day long. He couldn't imagine having the patience to do that with himself. Thank God for drugs.
Davien bashfully toyed with his blankets as he thought about his options. He wasn't going to get anymore sleep, he already knew that. "Cocoa....sounds good," he replied softly, sitting up more.
Darkness pushed the door open then, though he used so much force he ended up falling on his face. He made an 'oogh!' noise when he hit the floor, but quickly got up and scrambled toward the bed, clinging onto the edge while staring at them wide-eyed. "Momma....Davi...en.." He wrapped his arms around Death, planting his face into her. "Hi." His eyes went to Davien and he gave a big smile to him, but quickly brought his eyes back to Death. "I want breakfast, mommy. Can we have breakfast now?"
Davien kind of new that Death wasn't much of making a whole lot of food, Saix had always been the chef, from what he remembered. "Maybe...we should ask...Dad instead? That way you can snuggle with mom...while dad's making food?"
Darkness stared at Davien like he was a genius. His big eyes went back up to Death, their glowing orange brightening at the very thought of it. "What are we waitin' for? Let's go wake daddy!"
Sephiroth was in the kitchen already with Vilt and Rathe. He had slept pretty well considering he had forgotten the entire episode of yesterday with Xemnas. At the moment he was feeding Rathe, watching the boy take his time.
Ixas came dashing in and punched Vilt in the side before she went hiding behind Sephiroth, laughing as Vilt rubbed his side from the unexpected blow. "I got you!"
Vilt snorted, "Yeah? Well....I'll get you back. Just you watch!" He moved to get up and watched her go dashing away again before he took his seat and resumed eating.
"You attract interesting attention, Vilt," Sephiroth remarked. "Have you always been good with kids?"
Vilt shrugged, "Sorta-ish. Haven't really been exposed to them that often. Genesis always said I'd drop a baby if someone dared to hand it over to me. But you already know about the things Genesis says...so no point in repeating them."
"Right." Sephiroth helped Rathe with his sippy cup when Asi came in.
"Well hello my dazzling knight," Asi remarked to Vilt. They exchanged some secret handshake/fist bump.
"Dazzling? Nothing can outshine you, my liege." When Asi sat down Vilt and Asi toned it down a bit. "I noticed you're spending more time with Ixas. Liking the whole parent thing?"
"Yeah, it's going pretty well, a lot better then I have ever expected it to be. And besides, whether she turns out a good girl or not I'll at least know that she'll be beautiful because of my genes."
Vilt nodded a few times, "I can imagine." Though he had no idea what Ixas would look like when she was older. "Can't forget Larxene's tidbit in there." The two gave a 'yeaaaah' and bumped fists again.
Sephiroth felt somewhat lost. He remembered idiots back at Headquarters doing weird things like this...and he could only imagine why Vilt and Asi would both be cheerful about Larxene.
"Remember that time you told Davien you had a secret you wanted to tell him, and when he leaned in to hear you whisper it you screamed 'I ******** your mom!!!' Well that's been stuck in my head all morning."
Asi snorted, "Dude, I forgot." Considering he had done it SO many times. "Remember when you gave him a cake with that written in frosting?"
Vilt's smile vanished, "No....not remembering that." He hadn't noticed Asi and Sephiroth tense up, he only turned to Asi with his big grin coming back on his face, "Dude. That means we have to do it. Whether this is a second time or not, it'll be hilarious to see his face!"
"We definitely have to. Although do you think he'll get lost in the context since he has a new mom?"
"Naaah, he knows we mean Larxene."
Sephiroth had to butt in, "Harassing Davien about such things is highly inappropriate. The boy's been severely traumatized from other happenings, I think the two of you could cut him some slack and let him recover before you pull any of your stunts. Have you ever thought about the consequences of your actions? He could be emotionally devastated by your words."
Vilt wondered why no one had ever said that to him before. He looked at Asi and then back at his dad. "He's never really acted upset before. Sure he gets fussy but you know...not anything bad. I guess we could lay off..."
"Yeah..." He kept forgetting they were supposed to improve everyone, not make it worse for them.

Lina frowned at the idea of having to clean her room and she looked up at her father, "Are you going to help me? Last time momma told me to clean my room and got pissy when I put things where I wanted them and not where they were supposed to go. I just wanted something new." She pouted and scuffed her foot on the ground. Of course she was talking about an experience with the other Death.
Eseril shrugged at her father, "It's okay! I can stay with you for a while, and if I get bored I'll go outside and pick you flowers. You shouldn't have to stay cooped here all day alone anyways."
"I will stay and keep him company while you go outside, if you want Eseril." He said as he sat down and started to cut up the man's food.
Eseril thought the idea over and nodded, "Sounds good to me. First I want to see if he likes the food I spent ALLLLL DAAAAY preparing."
Death was surprised at how shy and adorable Davien was. Was he always like this as a child? That was when Darkness came in and smashed his face into her side. Oof. Cute kids everywhere. Wow, she was actually getting attached to them, and she didn't even like kids. She picked up Darkness and rested him on her hip. "Alright, let's see if he's awake, and if not we'll wake him. Men should feed their families right?" They got all got up and knocked on Saix' door.
Lina turned her head and screamed, "Come in! Who is it?"
Death opened the door and looked at Lina, "Shouldn't you ask who it is before telling them to come in?" She smirked.
"Oh... yeah, oops." She stared at Darkness being picked up and realized she wanted to be picked up too. She went over to Davien and tugged on his shirt. "Can you give me a piggy back ride?"
Death turned her attention to Saix, "I think the younglings are hungry..." Make food b***h.
Xaldin walked into the kitchen with a drowsy Veziell.
Nevou was already in there, since Liel was still asleep and he tilted his head. "What is wrong with him?"
"He didn't sleep well last night." Xaldin said rubbing his back. "Just misses his parents."
"Perhaps him and Liel should play together today. Maybe together they could heal each other in a way."
"How would you like that?" Xaldin lifted Veziell's droopy chin up. "To play with Liel, she's a pretty girl... maybe you'll get a kiss."
Ouch. That stung. Nevou was still trying to adjust to never actually being with Liel.

Saix couldn't remember the other Death ever doing that. Was it sad that his memory of everything she did...was fading so soon? It did bring a few tugs to his heart, a lump in his throat, but he manned up and pushed the thoughts away as quickly as they had come. The old Death didn't exist. There was only one Death...and she was with them now.
"Yeah, I'll help you, we'll arrange it however you like it," he remarked to her happily.
When the others had entered Saix got up, not even realizing how Death actually felt about him. "Of course, let's get all of you in the kitchen, I'll fix you something good," he told his children.
Davien was a short 10 year old, but though he was shy and reserved, it didn't mean he was completely weak. He let Lina hop onto him and he carried her with ease for the kitchen.
"Do you guys like muffins? I can make you kids those."
Davien didn't speak up. He thought the question was posed to the younger kids. He'd just eat whatever and be glad that someone wanted to bother feeding him. The thought about his father saying his cruel remarks to him came back in his mind, promenant than ever before. He wanted to die...because of him...
His eyes glanced to Death and Saix for a moment before shying away again. Were they taking him in...because they actually loved him...or was it all because they already knew what Xemnas had planned. Did Saix know that Xemnas hated him? It...almost seemed like it could be possible. And really, he was surprised Death hadn't told Saix to think things through. She already had a lot of kids on her hands, what made her so easy to accept him?
Darkness looked over at his father and smiled, "Mmm, muffins!"
"Mmmm is right. Now," he said as they entered the kitchen, "Your mother will help with your drinks and I'll get your breakfast started."
Darkness was glad to sit in a seat trying to play a big boy part as he was beside Davien, and on Davien's other side was Lina. He stared at Davien and tried to mimic his stature. He looked at Death happily, "Look, I'm a big boy, momma!"
Davien noticed the mimicing, and tried his best not to mind it. In reality, he was completely embarrassed and shy that any type of attention was being drawn toward him or from him.
Vilt and Asi exchanged looks as they had been previously talking about Davien. The kid looked so bashful, Vilt couldn't understand how the kid could live like that. "Hey Davien."
Asi looked at the boy with a big grin. For some reason, even if the kid was young and bashful, Vilt and him found it easy to bother the kid. Perhaps they enjoyed the fact that the kid didn't come out of his shell that often aside from around them? Or maybe it was just because they had a larger influence on him because of...their connection to his mother. He wasn't sure what it was, but he knew he could never ignore the kid.
"Davien! Haven't seen your face in awhile. What are you doing today?"
Davien felt eyes land on him. He kept his eyes locked to the splotch on the table before him. "U-Um...hi. I don't know."
Saix looked over at the two hooligans. "We're cleaning rooms today."
Darkness, who had been sitting prominently in his chair, sagged and glared at his father, "What?" His face turned into the biggest scowly pout ever known to man.
Saix looked at him, "You'll get a treat if you do a good job."
Darkness fidgeted before smiling, "Can momma help me?"
"I don't know, maybe you should ask her?" His eyes went over to Death wondering if she'd even bother with cleaning. Saix had a feeling he'd be doing a lot of it. His eyes turned to Davien to see his reaction. He looked miffed.
Vilt snorted at Saix's declaration of cleaning. "Good luck with Davien's room, you'll need it," he remarked. That kid horded things. In fact, anything that Asi and him didn't use, usually ended up hidden in Davien's room. Actually, a lot of things they stole ended up in that kid's room. Saix would be surprised at all the things he'd be finding...
Saix kept making breakfast and his eyes turned to look at Davien, "It didn't look that bad.."
"Well yeah," Asi remarked, "When you throw things in closests and underneath beds no one knows how bad it really is."
Saix nodded and sighed, "Right."
Xemnas waited until Genesis was done so that he could eat, and he smiled at his daughter once he got some food in him. He hadn't eaten much since the accident. "It's very good, Eseril. You know, I bet you could do a lot with those cooking skills. Imagine all the things you could learn to make." He was mostly flattering her because he loved her, but the food really was good. Though, he believed Genesis made it anyway...

Death had walked into the kitchen with her 'family' and she looked over at Saix as he mentioned her getting the drinks. "Oh, that's right, I was going to make Davien some hot cooca." She got up and turned her head as Darkness wanted her to clean his room with him. Gosh he was so freaking adorable. "Of course I will help. Hopefully by the end of the day all three of your rooms will be cleaned."
Lina was trying to come off of her giggles from getting a piggy back ride. She clasped her arms around Davien's bicep, "Does Davien get to help me with mine?" She said happily, as if trying to combat Darkness getting their mother.
"I think Davien has his own room to work on. But if you finish first you can help him, or vice versa okay?"
"Soooooooo.... what do we get when we clean?" She beamed up at her father.
Death finished getting the three kids drinks and handed it to them, as she sat down with her own and waited for the food.
Xaldin was surprised by the family interactions. He knew it couldn't be that easy for Death to adjust to filling in the old Death's shoes. Much less knowing she was going to be having Evante too, though it seemed whatever she was thinking she was hiding it pretty damn well.
Genesis smiled at Xemnas, "Thank you, most good soldiers know how to cook incase they ever get stranded somewhere."
Eseril glared at him and coughed.
"I mean, she worked hard on the meal, I'm sure she appreciates you enjoying it." He smiled down at her. It was odd, how friendly he felt towards Xemnas, was it possible he just felt bad for the guy? No... his hair, and skin... it was so perfect. There was an attraction there. There had to be. He knew it.

Since when was it a good idea for him to clean someone else's room? He could hardly keep his own in order. He just wanted to hide and pretend to clean his. He remembered the things that Vilt and Asi stored in his room. They had told him 'not to touch' some of the things. And that if he was curious about the magazine, he should only look at them late at night. Whatever that meant. His eyes went over to Asi and Vilt wondering if they'd help him at all.
Vilt tried to think of what might have been hidden in there that could be bad for Davien's reputation. Eh. Not his problem. He ignored the look and watched as Sephiroth had finished feeding Rathe who was now absorbing the other kid's and their actions.
Asi had pulled the same move. Look away, pretend he didn't catch the pitiful look of that silly orphan.
Davien noticed their eyes turn away. Shoot. He looked at his new parents, "Um...I...don't need help with my room, really. I mean, I don't want any help. I mean...it's just...I..uh.." he trailed off for a bit. "Would rather...do it by myself...but...thanks for offering."
Saix wondered what the boy was hiding in there. "Okay, that's fine," Saix said as he waited for the muffins to bake. "Whatever makes you happy."
Sephiroth looked at Davien as the boy seemed tense on the subject. "Though, it's not like you're hiding anything in your room."
"N-N-No," Davien remarked with quite the stutter. He looked away from Sephiroth. That made could always read his facial expression. He could always tell a lie from a truth. He hoped he had masked it well. He wished he knew what he was hiding for those two idiots.
Asi got in on it, "Don't believe him, he's hiding a lot. That boy can rob you blind and hide it so you'll never find it in his room. I know because I've seen him in action. He's got talent."
"Perhaps those talents could be put to...better use rather than pickpocketing people?"
Rathe wiped at his mouth slowly and turned to Sephiroth to be held and comforted.
Meanwhile, as they talked about him, Davien felt his heart plunge at their words. Xemnas had called him a thief. He called him worthless because of his habits. Asi, Vilt, and Edmy had always praised him for his natural born talent, but ever since hearing Xemnas call him such things he didn't think he'd ever want to bother picking up anything valuable ever again. He didn't have talent. He was nothing. He was dispicable and a disgrace because of his actions.
"Hey....if he wants to hide things then that's fine. Kids need their privacy," Saix defended the boy, seeing the meek look on Davien's face.
Vilt smirked, "Wouldn't that all depend on what he's hiding?"
Davien glanced over at him, "I'm not hiding anything," he said softly. "You're the one whose hiding things."
"Am not," Vilt remarked and he pointed at Asi, "He's hiding stuff."
Asi shrugged, "Like I can remember what's in his room."
Saix glared at them, "You're using his room to hide your stuff?" He sighed. "You're helping him remove it all."
Vilt shook his head, "No way, man, that's the stuff we didn't want and he decided to keep. That's all his problem now."
Asi nodded, "Yeah. Besides, it's best that he goes through it. I mean, so he can actually take a gander at the magazines he's collected. It'd do a boy his age some good."
Sephiroth knew what Asi was talking about now. "You gave him..." he didn't finished his sentence. "He's ten."
"Angeal gave me my first one at 8."
Sephiroth's eyes opened wide, "What?"
Asi smirked, "I stole all of mine. By the age of 15 I had at least a hundred or so. Got a lot of good use, eh?"
Saix's eyes shot daggers at Asi. "Do you MIND. Discontinue the talk. There's kids in here. We'll take out whatever you left in his room and you're either going to take it back or we're going to throw it out. Hence the reason why we're cleaning. To get rid of the things we don't need."
Davien thought about that phrase and his eyes went back down to the notches in the table. Seemed his real father did some cleaning, too. Got rid of him because he was worthless and meaningless...
Darkness whined loudly, "Daddy, why can't you feed me any faster?"
"It's almost done, Darkness, hold on a little bit longer," he cooed to his little boy, switching from his governing self around the others straight into his fatherly talk.
Xemnas smirked at Genesis's words. Ah. He liked a good compliment. He wondered if he could put this to his advantage...
His eyes went to his daughter, "You know, why don't you get me those flowers now? It'll help brighten up the room." And give him some time with Genesis.

Death was growing more and more annoyed at Asi and Vilt. Mostly Asi, how could he be so cruel and irresponsible. "No, I think I will help Davien clean his room, and anything I personally find that isn't his I'm throwing out. Or maybe I should show Ixas the treasures.... Obviously Asi is a very relaxed parent considering he shows other children his private collection." She taunted, cleaning on the table and looking over to Asi, "You must seriously have a desire to share those with the younger generation, correct?"
Xaldin straightened up his back and glanced over to Death. Was she bluffing? She seemed almost evil about it. Then again, Asi did need to shape up around the kids if he was planning on being a respectable parent.
There was a ding from the oven and Lina looked up, "Oooh, are the muffins ready!?" She said happily. Sucked they had to waste the entire day with cleaning.
Eseril turned her head and looked out the window, shyly looking back at her father. "But I don't like going outside by myself. Saix never let me before anyways." There was always an adult outside with her.
Genesis looked down at her. "Perhaps Anzio would mind going outside with you."
"OOOOOOOOOH." She said smiling, "Okay, bye daddy! Love ya!" She said as she ran out of the door to get Anzio.
Genesis watched her and turned his head back to Xemnas, he took a seat in the chair, keeping quiet to himself as he glanced out the window, falling lost in his thoughts again. So many thoughts and hormones.
Eseril went walking down the hallway and she knocked on Anzio's door, but found him not in there. Weird. Where was he? He heard giggling from another room and she slowly walked towards Atheta's room, she knocked on the door and came in, seeing Atheta still in bed slightly, but sitting up with Anzio sitting at the foot of the bed as the two of them were calming down from laughing.
"Hi!" Atheta looked over happily.
"Hey..." Shoot, how was she going to ask her question without Atheta hearing? "Anzio I had a favor to ask you." "Oh? What is it?" Anzio tilted his head and looked at her.
"Oh, uh... I wanted to go outside and wondered if you would take me?"
"Me too! Me too!" Atheta said happily and tugged on Anzio's shirt. "Can I go outside tooooo?"
"Haha, of course, let's get you out of bed and changed. We should tell dad we're going outside."
Darn, so much for alone time.

Asi wondered why Death had to get involved in this, and then remembered she was trying to sit in as the other Death. Right right, it made sense. She was trying to be a good mother. And what would a good father say back? He was supposed to be a role model for Ixas. Well...she wasn't around or anything...
"Ixas is younger, though, she wouldn't get that stuff. Besides, every growing boy likes nudie magazines. It's like...recognition into manliness. A father gives his kid dirty magazines to recognize he's old enough to be staring at naked women."
Saix started to give the kids their muffins, warning Darkness that they were hot and to be careful, while he tried to ignore the conversation. He could tell Davien was completely embarrassed by the situation. "What made you step into that role?" He remarked to Asi. He had said father...
Asi shrugged, "Oh I don't know...go ask Larxene?"
Vilt calmed down from his stupidity, oddly as that sounded, and turned his eyes to Saix. "Yeah, if Larxene had stayed with me then Davien and Eseril would have been my kids....you know, if the whole running away thing hadn't had happened, either."
"Yes, and if Larxene wasn't just using me to frame you for having her kid, then technically they could have been my kids if the two weren't under your wing."
Saix sighed. The kids didn't need to hear this. Though, it looked like Darkness was too focused on cramming a muffin in his mouth to know. "That's not something we should discuss at the table," Saix hissed. "Could you be a little bit more responsible and respectable?"
Vilt frowned, "Why? Is someone visiting?"
Sephiroth stared at Vilt, "No. It's necessary that you keep your mouth shut and think before you speak. It'll get you into less trouble, and you won't offend anyone."
"But--"
Sephiroth held up his hand, "Hush."
Vilt fell silent, though sullenly. Genesis was the one who always silenced him, not Sephiroth. He usually just ignored what was being said, while Genesis would have to shut him up somehow. In fact, he wondered why Genesis hadn't said much to him lately. For a man who raised him his entire life, it felt like he was getting a silent treatment or something. Was it because Sephiroth was taking over?
Asi glanced at Davien and then at Saix, "Vilt and I are just being nice to him. We may be troublemakers but at least the kid will have some fun memories to look back on." He glanced at Davien. "Besides, he loves hanging around 'Uncle' Asi. Right? Am I right?"
Davien looked over at Asi before smiling slightly, though he didn't fess up about it.
"See? He loves my company."
Saix didn't know how to fight them. "I don't mind the fact that you're around him, I'm afraid of your influence on him." He stared directly into Asi's eyes, "Okay?"
Asi got the hint he meant about the future. How the kid had turned out. How to avoid something like that...well it couldn't be that bad. "Right." Maybe find something that'd help push away bad habits? But he didn't know how to do that! "Davien, did you know how to play violin?"
"I....have one but I never learned how to play it..." It was a birthday present, he remembered...from Xemnas.
"You should learn. Chicks love a guy with musical talent. They dig a guy who knows their strings, eh?"
Davien finished up his muffin and shook his head, "There isn't any girl that I'd want to impress..."
Ixas came in then and punched Asi in the spine, "Haha, daddy, I got you!" She noticed the look on his face and she held out her hand, "Lookie what I found." She had a snake in her hand. "I named him Fredrick!"
Roxas was entering then when he saw the snake. He let out a morbid scream and fainted.
Asi had almost had a heart attack as well. ******** snakes... "Um...Ixas, no weird animals in the house. Come on, outside...let's put him back where he belongs, or else he'll get sad because he's away from his family."
Xemnas stared at Genesis as he had taken his seat. He took a sip of his drink and relished in the taste before speaking up. "What's on your mind, Genesis?" He hoped to get closer to the figure. Damn him for being so broken...

The day went on and Death and Saix helped the kids clean up their rooms, for Darkness it was a pretty easy task, he mostly just had toys scattered about, and Lina had things crammed under her bed and a whole desk of drawings and things that needed to be sorted through. They also went through her clothes to see what fit and what didn't and asked Angeal if he wanted any of Lina's old clothes that were too small for her. Finally they had gotten to Davien's room, Asi was in the room helping the boy with Saix 'supervising'. Death had just put Darkness down for a nap and was now relaxing outside on the bench, rocking back and fourth.
Lina was in her own room, admiring how much more organized she was. She jumped back onto her bed and listened to her music as she doodled and wrote in her little notebook.
Anzio, Atheta and Eseril had gone on a huge adventure all over the place. At least all over their property in the backyard. There was a boarder though that Anzio was told never to cross, which is where the river was. Eseril wanted to go further, but he told them that they shouldn't.
Eseril thought about it and remembered that it was the way towards Ansem's... she decided not to press the issue and they turned back, as they emerged through the trees she noticed that Atheta was missing. HAH, her task was successful. The entire time her plan was to keep Anzio busy and hopefully lose Atheta in the forest, that way she'd have more alone time with Anzio. "We should go inside, I'm reallly thirsty." She said.
Anzio smiled and the two raced inside past Death. Inside the kitchen, he got them both a glass of water where they sat down at the table and started to drink up. "Did you have fun today?"
Eseril nodded, "Yes I did." She looked at the glass and inspected the floral design on the rim and she looked up, "OH! I completely forgot to get my dad flowers like I was going to."
"Maybe we could go as Marluxia to make you some quickly."
"But if they're too fancy he'll know they're not mine."
"I'm sure Marluxia will know what to do." He nodded.
Eseril giggled and agreed, once they finished their drink the two ran off to find the man.
Zexion and Don had FINALLY finished together and were enjoying room service on their bed. At least this way they didn't need to bother changing or anything. Periodically he would get something on his fork and feed it to her, kissing her afterwards. The entire time his right hand rested on her open thigh, which he would rub down to her knees and back up, a soothing and relaxing motion as they ate and watched the sunset from their window.

Davien had said he didn't want help, so what happened? He got more help then he needed. He felt pretty bummed at that, but chose not to complain about it. They were pulling everything out from under the bed, trying to sort through it all. There was so much junk, though, it was hard to know where to start.
Saix went over to the box labeled 'goodies' and pulled out one of the magazines. He quickly looked at the door before opening it up. "Jeez. He doesn't need to see any of this."
Asi went over and smiled at the position before picking up another one and opening it up so the centerfold fell open. "Oh come on, not even ONE?"
Saix's eyes ventured onto the foldout. He glanced back at the door and then at Asi, "Okay, one, that's all he gets."
"That's what I'm talking about!" Asi folded up the magazine and shoved it in Davien's hands. "Keep it in a good, safe place so you can stare at it all you want."
Saix dropped the one in his hands into the box and moved it over to Asi's pile. It took such a long time to sort out everything under the bed, and then once it was done they pulled out stuff from his closet. Oy. It was a mess. They even found clothes in there that didn't fit him anymore. "Davien, why didn't you ever get rid of this stuff?" He remarked, holding up a one-piece pajama suit that was for someone like Darkness's size.
Davien shrugged. In reality, he never really knew he was supposed to. No one had ever really had told him to clean his room, to throw things away, to keep organized... Saix was his father for his first four years and the rest he was governing himself whenever Xemnas and Sephiroth were together. And they were always together. And then when they weren't Xemnas didn't want him anymore. What was he supposed to learn from that?
They delved through everything. When they were finished sorting, vacuuming, dusting, you name it... the three of them were tired as hell. Saix tied up the last bag of trash and looked at Asi who had stacked up his things to carry them out. He went over and helped him with the stuff, and soon returned to see what Davien thought. "So? Glad it's clean?"
Davien was looking at his violin. He shrugged, finding no difference in it all. He wished the violin had stayed stashed away with everything else. Now it seemed like his life was on display for people to stare at. "I don't know."
Saix went over to him and landed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Something wrong?" He was tired, but that didn't mean he was finished being around him. "Davien?"
Davien had tears welling up in his eyes. Saix and Death were being so nice. But...it felt like it was too nice. Like pity. Or they were so focused on being the 'new' that they basically shoved away all the old. They cleaned his thoughts with new ones, telling him how they had better things planned for him. They wiped out his room to make room for better memories. But Xemnas's words would never leave. His actions would stay. He looked up at Saix as the tears were finally falling from his orange and blue eyes. "Why does he hate me?"
Saix pulled Davien over to the bed and wrapped him up in his arms, "Davien, has that been on your mind this whole time?"
Davien nodded as he sobbed, "When hasn't it? I can't get to sleep at night because of it. First I felt bad because he was hurt, then he said he didn't want me..." he rubbed at his eyes, "now...now all I can think about is why he was hurt. Because of me. Because he never wanted me..."
Saix held onto the upset boy as he broke down. Poor thing. "Davien, it wasn't your fault..." He lifted the boy's chin up. "Please believe me. Those things Xemnas said....he would have never thought like that about you. Ever. He's not feeling well..."
Davien shook his head, "You're just saying that. He never liked me before. He just liked Sephiroth. And they never liked me, I was just a bother."
Saix shook his head, "Don't say that."
Davien pulled away from Saix, glaring at him. "Why do you have to lie to me?"
"If I was lying, would it make it any better if I just agreed with you?"
Davien stopped fussing and shook his head drearily. "No...nothing will ever make it better."
Marluxia was in his room with Larxene. The woman was comparing two dresses to herself and asking him to judge which was best. He stared at the colors as they were put up against her, and he finally pointed at the one in her left hand. "That one, definitely."
"That's what I thought as well," she remarked.
"Who are you taking on a date, might I ask?"
"No one? I'm just going out to see if I can pick up some bozo and get free drinks."
Marluxia nodded and then watched as their was a knock and the two kids showed up, slightly out of breath. "May I help you?"
Don checked her nails for a minute before glancing back into his eyes. "Good day, hmm?" She kissed him on the lips. "Now I just need to remember that once we're finished sexing each other up not to drink from any strange glasses." She smirked at him, thinking of how bad her luck was. Only she could do something dumb like that...

As Eseril and Anzio had ran into Marluxia's room, Eseril froze as she saw Larxene there. She lost the courage to speak up, asking him for flowers for her father felt weird to do in front of her. She turned and looked at Anzio, shaking her head for them to leave.
He gave her a questioning look and spoke up for her instead, assuming that she was probably just shy. "Marluxia, could we have some flowers? Not big glorious ones, but small ones like we'd find outside. Eseril was going to pick flowers for her father, but we were outside playing and she forgot."
Eseril looked down and gripped onto the back of Anzio's shirt shyly, almost ashamed.
Death was rocking outside, the sun setting quietly and the birds chirping loudly as clouds were started to settling in. Maybe it was going to rain that night. That would be nice, she liked the rain. But then she thought she heard a faint shouting in the distance, like a little girl? Was it just an obnoxious bird?
"I don't think you'll have the time." He said as he kissed Don's neck, moving his hand up her inner thigh. "He moved the food a bit as his other hand went to her shoulder and moved down the strap to her top, kissing her shoulder.
Genesis and Xemnas had a quiet day together, they didn't talk too much, mostly about their past experiences. Xemnas talked about Kingdom Hearts, Genesis talked about Banora, but it at least let them get to know each other.

Marluxia made some flowers and held them out for the kids to take. "There you go. I'm sure he'll like them." He watched the two hurry out as soon as they had came in and he turned his eyes to Larxene. "Well, if you don't need me for anything else I'm going to start preparing food for the large group." She waved at him and he smirked as he left the room, heading into the kitchen. A lot of times they'd all break off and do their own meals, but he enjoyed when they had family dinners together.
Saix did his best in calming down the heartsick boy. He felt bad for him, the child didn't have any friends in his age group and he was having a lot of tough times with fitting in with family. "If you can't sleep at night you should come wake me up. I don't want you to go through the night suffering like this anymore, okay?"
Davien nodded, "O-Okay." He wiped at his eyes again and sniffled.
"And I don't care how many times you have to wake me up or when it is. When you're hurt that badly...you need to let me know...because you mean a lot to me. You shouldn't have to go through life thinking it's acceptable to feel like that all the time."
"I...thought I'd get used to it."
Saix shook his head, "No. No one gets used to it. Why else would Xemnas hurt himself? It's because he felt miserable his entire life. And his misery is affecting you now."
"Will...he ever get better?"
"I don't know." Saix pulled Davien into a hug. "I really don't know."
Ixas went into her father's room and found him passed out in bed. She went over to hop in bed with him when she saw the magazines. She picked one up and started to go through it, staring at all it had to offer. Her eyes went from the girl in the magazine to her self in the mirror. She grabbed up a pair of socks and she stuffed them in her shirt, trying to mimic the chest the woman had. Gently she crawled up and curled herself into the nook of Asi's arm, looking through more of the pictures while Asi slept.
Don laughed a bit and pulled Zexion to be on top of her. "Round three?" She batted her eyelashes, seeing what he'd do now.
Xemnas kept his eyes on Genesis for practically the entire day. Just seeing him made him feel like he was healed all over again. Nothing hurt. At all. "It's a pity the day's going by so fast, today's been the nicest day I've had in a long time." Maybe because he got to stare at eyecandy the entire time?
Roxas looked at the time. Poop. After dinner he'd have to watch Xemnas. Couldn't he make someone else do that? He turned to look at his empty room, expecting someone with him. No one. The place was stark and naked.
He sure missed his friends.

Death ignored the first two screams, thinking that it was bird, but the third one caused her stand up and move towards the source. She shouted back, wondering if maybe she'd scare the annoying bird, but then it DEFINATELY called for help. Aw crap. Was it a kid? Maybe Veziell had run away? She quickly went towards the shouting not wasting any time as the sun would probably be down in less than ten minutes completely.
Lina finally felt her stomach rumble and she stretched, getting out of her bed and going into the kitchen to get a snack, but she found Marluxia in there getting ready to make dinner for everyone it looked like. She scrambled up to the high chairs at the island counter to watch him. She stared at his hands as he cut up the vegetables and everything, she watched the back of his head and back to his hands. Finally blurting out, "How come you're always going into momma's room at night?" That's right, she had seen him.
Xaldin had walked into the kitchen completely exhausted. He sat down next to Lina and slammed his forehead into the counter. "Coffee, woman. Now."
Lina's eyes widened and she stared at the man. "But I don't know how to make it!" She spazzed.
He put his mug up on the counter, "Not you, Ms. Pinky."
Lina tilted her head and brushed back Xaldin's thick hair. "What's wrong Uncle Xaldy?"
"Veziell won't stop crying." He confessed.
Lina giggled, "Poor Xaldy..."
"I feel the day, I don't think I've really been TREATED this nicely in... for a long time anyways." He almost said forever, but didn't want to make himself sound too pathetic. Though it was true, between family, Shinra, the basement... he didn't get a whole lot of people that actually cared what he had to say.
