He was slightly startled by the pat, actually being thrown off balance the slightest bit. He wasn't used to his weight being more vertical then horizontal. "I've heard from his pup eared friend that the 'Elias' we are blaming for all of this isn't even really Elias. That's what she thinks at least. Other than that I don't know much myself." He was then quiet for a moment and looked Saradin over. "Wow...you're right. Well Coban said that I didn't pull it off perfectly. Too tall and a tail still in place." He waved a hand in dismissal as he had often see Aurahkah do. "It is rather odd. I don't expect to be doing this much. I rather miss my wings and I don't fair well on two feet, but, " He held up his hands, "I am enjoying the thumbs." He gave another snort after a short burst of laughter. "Besides, I find this form of myself a little physically uncomfortable."

"Well at least you wont be taking my place then. Upstaged by an animal, what a disturbing thought." Saradin was resisting the urge to scratch Eclipse the way he always did, which would undoubtedly only add further hilarity to the current form. "Im quite aware of Elias's condition though. The creature claimed to be the son of Lucifer, the devil himself within that body. Worse yet, he passed reference to an angel I once knew, I cant contact him now and think hes in danger."

Azure eyes darkened slightly as he frowned. "Another one from hell. Always hell. I swear that place has a personal vendetta against this manor and all that live here." He rolled his shoulders again, once again popping them back into comfort. "If angels are in danger....then this is certainly a foe that cannot be taken lightly." Eclipse paced for a moment before the fire and Saradin. Then he looked over to him. "Would you like that I changed back?"

"Only if you prefer. I for one am actually becoming curious as to how youd look in my armor." Saradin delighted at the thought of how ungainly hed be, scratching the stubble of his chin slowly and pondering. "But hell cant really be surprising, considering the diversity of folk that pass this way. From the time I arrived, I've known that I'd have to brace myself from things to come."

"We should put a sign up on the outer gate. "Hell Visit Here!". Funny though, more things started to happen after Jaxom died. Perhaps there were some type of wards or something here, I dunno." He shrugged again and then cast a look to the man he was mirroring. "What I'd look like in your armor? Same as you...only slightly taller and with a tail. And probably unbalanced. Bipeds seem rather...top heavy."

"I suppose its the unbalanced part that interests me. Not saying that the tail wouldnt have its charm. And top heavy is a good way to describe it, but I prefer vertically superior." Time dragged on and Saradin intended to get an actual nights rest now, in his own bed rather than waking up where he last remembered being. "Hell can come if it wishes, but it will be kept waiting at the gates if its looking for me. I'm due to arrive there again at some point I'm sure, but it wont be while I sleep. I must bid you goodnight, may the morning find us all well tomorrow." Saradin smiled and gave Eclipse one more hearty pat on the back, intentionally knocking him before departing for his bedroom that seemed to always go unused.

Eclipse managed his balance only for the split second it took Saradin to disappear from sight, before he fell face first into the marble flooring with a loud thud noise. Blowing the hair out of his eyes he gave a snort, and swished his tail. Sighing, Ebony wings sprouted from his back in a burst of dark energy and then he himself shifted in shape to resume the look that he was so well known for. Standing he shook out his fur and feathers and licked his muzzle, then raised a paw to scratch at his ear. "Vertically superior...bah, top heavy!" Yes he was certainly more comfortable like this, his energy that he was composed of felt more settled. However, the new trick he was picking up on would certainly be handy, especially when facing foes, and he would just have to deal with the discomfort. Eclipse gave a snort. "Now to invade and take over Aurahkah's bed." Giving another snort he padded his way from the great hall and down the north wing. Saradin was right, sleep was needed.

Picking Up Stars Vice Captain

Rasui sat down at her mistress' door and began to cry. She couldnt' get in and that never happened. She pushed on the door wiht her nose again and glared at her fighting kittens. Scratching didn't work either. She began to cry in earnest. After all she was tired and she wanted a nice warm bed to sleep on.
Niah heard a noise that sounded familiar to her. She opened her eyes when she realized it was a cat's cry. Slipping out of bed she looked down at her dirty nightdress and bit her lip. The cat's cry came louder and she was afraid Rasui was going to wake the whole manor. Slowly she opened her door adn slipped out. She crossed the small space between Alex's room and her own door and found Rasui and two of her kittens sitting there mewling. She picked up Rasui adn said, "Hey there sweetheart. Where have you been? I've been worried about you."
Rasui rubbed against her cheek and began to purr in answer. She meowed to her kittens. The black one shook his head and ran ahead jumping onto the bed. The black and white one jumped up into Niah's arms and cuddled wiht her mother.
Niah laughed and followed the scampering kitten into Alex's room. She dropped the other two on the bed and climbed back in settling back in Alex's arms.
Rasui laid down in Niah's arms. The black cat curled up on top of Alex. The black and white one curled up in the small space between Niah and Alex.

Eclipse slid of Aurahkah's bed with a yawn. He absolutely loved it when he got that bed to himself. But now since Vincent and Aurahkah had moved into one room together...well the bed always had an occupant now. Maybe he could weasel his own bed out of the pair, when they got back he intended to ask them. On the floor was Vincent's note, ripped apart in a moment of anger. But he wasn't angry anymore, the winged wolf figured it was best for Aurahkah to get away right now, and he had checked in on her via mind link. She was okay, and she said that Vincent had promised to bring her back not maimed and the like. Shadow walking through the wall he gave a yawn as he padded out into the hallway, fluffing his wings as he went. His ears perked at the unfamiliar voice and then his nose sniffed the air, and he snorted. "Someone new here?"

"Is anyone around?" Inuka calls once more, not sure if she'd get in trouble for walking right in, not that she was too nervous of the fact. Kimono, which stood out in the dimness of the hall, swayed and ruffled as she walked, Akuji, as always, close behind her. A slight smile was on her face, innocent gaze flickering this way and that. Was she truly so innocent, truly so cheerful? Of course not. There was no such thing in complete innocence, nor someone who was always cheerful. By why allow other to know what goes on inside your head? Why let them be aware?

Ears rotated and he followed them. Three and a half feet of lumbering still sleepy winged wolf. Before long he was standing at the end of a hall watching the girl at the other end of it. He sat back on his haunches and gave a bark down the hall to announce that he was there. No need to frighten the girl with his talking yet.
