Yuriko shook her head. "I think we should aim to incapacitate. When we get a few guards down, I'm coordinated enough that I can work four guns at once. I was able to...hold on...yes, my mind tells me I still can. I can fire my stinger like a high velocity spear. It'll regenerate in seconds. If things get really bad, get down, and I'll provide cover fire. Agreed?"
The wasp woman readies herself. "One more thing. If we see them turn into Aberrants with minds, don't fire at them. We'll need to convince them we're on their side, and they need to be on ours."

A large collection of human guards, male and female and all ethnicities, turned to see the group's entrance. They wore armor and carried rifles, like Yuriko had done, and their glassy-eyed expression showed they had no qualms about using them.
Beyond them, a large lab setup was visible, filled with chemicals and gas tanks and numerous potential caustic and explosive concoctions. Several scientists ran for cover, trying to gather notes and flasks of solution.
The room was soon a chaos of battle as the guards scrambled for cover, and the gunfire began flying.

Raleigh went into a roll, dodging the bullets and attacking with his knife claw hand.

Raleigh's knife hand struck true, twice. A black male and a Latino female fell with wounds across their face and chest, respectively.
They writhed in pain and screamed out as their bodies rapidly bulged and changed.
The male's head became very similar to a bull's, but with more pronounced tusks. He sprouted four additional arms and grew to nearly nine feet tall, destroying his clothing and armor as his body became furry and his legs became bull-like. A tail emerged from his spine, bearing four barbed club-heads and thrashing randomly.
The female's eyes grew out on long stalks from the top of her head as her mouth became gaping and fanged, dominating her entire face. She desperately clawed at her shirt and armor, but soon both were consumed, as though sucked inside her chest like a vacuum. The reason why became apparent, as another massive fanged mouth dominated her chest, coupled with eight lashing gripper tendrils. Before she could react, the tendrils lashed out and impaled a human guard and dragged him into her chest, where her main mouth set about its grisly task of devouring him alive.
The male shook his head in confusion; the female fell backwards against the wall and began to cry.

Alex bobbed, weaved, zigzagged, and stung wildly as he went.

Raleigh thought "It works. So, now to work." He whirled through the guards, lashing out where ever he could.

Yuriko had seized four dropped rifles, but after seeing the choice of tactics used by her allies, elected to use her launching stinger instead. She did not like the idea of returning these people to Aberrant forms, but it was better than being a mindless drone.
Guards fell left and right, mutating in ways that still surprised all who witnessed them.
One of the lab scientists, in a panic, chucked a flask full of some unknown chemical into the fray. It struck...
1-2: Raleigh
3-4: Alex
5-6: Yuriko
7-8: Hane
9-10: Guard/Aberrant
The chemical was a powerful acid. It began eating through his clothes and the flesh on his knife arm and one side of his face, burning him severely.

Raleigh gave a yell of surprise as the flask hit him and started eating at him. "Gedditoffgedditoffgedditoff!" He shrieked, running around in a panic and knocking many guards flying.

Alex's stinger lanced several more guards, who soon once more became Aberrants.
As Raleigh made it to an emergency eyewash station and began rinsing the acid off his skin, the Aberrants began outnumbering the guards, and turned on them. Soon, only a few steadfast guards remained.
One such guard chucked a grenade toward Alex's head, intending it to airburst. His second head, however, instinctively caught it in its muzzle.
A second later, it's eyes went wide. "Oops..."
(Well, you wanted the head gone...)
