She laughed softly, covering her smile. For some reason, she didn't want it to be seen, which was, really, odd, even to her. She cleared her throat, starting to take bites into her breakfast. "Hm... His name? Azuma, Azuma Devans. I don't realy know if I'm going to bring him around, I'll have to talk to him about that." She looked up at the ceiling, thinking of when they met, and laughed. "Really, he rescued me from the GFG. That's when we first me, and a day later, we knew we loved eachother. It's perfect, too, we're the same age. Another funny part is the fact that the entire base knows, and apparently, they think it's cute. Mostly because we're two young officers, in charge of an entire base, and getting married..."

"I don't think they would. I mean, they might... but I don't know..." She quickly finished all her breakfast, and sat back in her chair, clearly content with what she just ate. She smiled. "Thank you for the breakfast Ana... and letting me stay here. I needed to get away for a little while, you know?"

Meike nodded, hugging back, tightly. "Hm... if me and Azuma stayed over..." She shook her head, closning her eyes, getting the thought out of her head. "No, isn't that rude? Sorry, we won't do anything..."

She shook her head. "Nah, I'm going to rest some more." She stood, walking over to the couch, waving. "Tell 'em all I said hi, and I love 'em, okay?" With that, she quickly drifted off to sleep.

Ana entered her apartment, yawning sleepily. She smiled when she saw Mieke still asleep on the couch. She went to the kitchen and threw away the note she had left Angel, since it wasn't needed anymore.

She quietly entered her bedroom and changed into her night shirt. Carefully laying down on the bed beside Angel she snuggled against him, one arm and leg thrown across his body. Closing her eyes, she was quickly asleep.

Ana slowly entered her apartment. This wasn't the first time she had been alone in it since Angel had started staying with her, but this felt...different....emptier. Wearily, she went to her bedroom and laid down on the bed, still fully clothed.

She turned on her side and reached towards Angel's side of the bed. The tears started flowing again as she touched his pillow. "Oh...please...bring him back to me." She prayed to whatever was out there listening. "Please. I need him." She reached for his pillow and hugged it to her, burying her face in it's softness, losing herself in the smell of him.

She lay there the rest of the night, weary, longing for sleep, but refusing to give in to it. She would be ready to welcome him back when he returned.

((notice: This happens before Sanct's post) Angel walked into the room slowly. His wounds where sore, but not life threatening. He was weak and limping as he climbed out of his clothes and into bed with her. Ana rolled over to greet him. They kissed once and he held her close to him. Both finally drifting off to sleep.

Ana rolled over as she heard a noise in the apartment. Her eyes were riveted on the bedroom door. Her breath caught and her eyes filled with tears of relief and joy as Angel entered their bedroom.

He was worn, cut and bruised....but alive. She watched him wordlessly as he undressed and climbed into their bed, drinking in the sight of him.

She clung to him as he kissed her and then held her close. She lay in his arms, saying nothing. Words were useless at this moment. In the morning there would be words. There would be questions and answers and, most likely, more tears. But for tonight there was only the comfort and joy of his presence as they fell asleep in each other's arms.
