Switch kept one gun on teh stormiess, and another on the door, drawing the machines fire away from teh little robot, her guns roared as did those of Kadea, Cat and Boss,a nd teh reamining gang members

Kadea watched Ryshel out of teh corner of her eye, praying that she wouldn't get hurt ready to leap if she did, her gun trained and took down any men that were an ammediate threat to Ryshel providing her cover. " I'm watching out for you sister..." she whispered, mostly to herself.

Switch blinked as teh fire ended, and teh stormies were cut off, she lowered her almost empty guns and looked towards Ryshel, letting out a long breath she rallied those near her and headed for teh nearest exit her guns still out, silent, but ready. "where to Ryshel?"

Kadea prayed a small prayer of thanks, " Thank you ancestors for keeping my sister safe..." she whisper then rising fallowed Switch

Boss, blinked in stunned surprised and if there had been better lighting Cat may have been able to detect a bit or red in the big mans cheeks. At the same time his herat neraly stopped at her tounch, schooling his features he helped Cat, Switch, and Kadea fend off the stormiess and provide cover fire for Rysel. He blinked in stunned surprise as the machine guns fell silent and staying close to Cat he made his way out, letting her lead those who were rightfully loyal to her.

Ryshel led them all back to the enormous Jedi cruiser that she realized she was now in command of with Master Windu gone. The realization jolted her back to remembrance of his passing and she stopped in mid-stride.

Ryshel snapped back to reality and shook her head. "It's ok, I'm alright." She turned around to face them. "Look, they're bound to be regrouping and if we're going to get back to Coruscant and discuss this whole situation more in-depth, we have to leave now. Cat, I know you don't want to leave, but your safety is crucial. So please, everyone, get on board and the crew (my crew, she thought) will get you settled in."

"Where are you going?" Kadea asked her worriedly as she turned to leave.

"To get Chris. Don't worry, I'll use my ship and catch up to you guys. Now go, quickly!" She placed a reassuring hand briefly on Kadea's shoulder and then took off for her ship, which wasn't far off, where R4 had already started rolling right after the fight. The complex had stretch far and underground, but she didn't have time to think about that now. She switched on her comlink and hailed the captain.

"This is Ryshel Kitana. Master Windu fell, and I'm going back for his body in my X-Wing. Make sure the refugees coming aboard are comfortable, and if any of them give you trouble, stun them and I'll take responsibility for it later. Then take off and don't worry about me; I'll catch up!"

She switched it off again and reached the ship just as R4 was resituating herself in the droid copilot seat in the left rear of the ship. As the engines fired up, she watched the radar. The Empire was indeed beginning to reorganize themselves and they were going to be hard pressed to get away now. She watched the enormous Republican flagship take off as she sped towards the site where they had been taken. Chris's body was still there, and Ryshel quickly landed, put his body as carefully and respectfully as she could in the cargo bay, and then sped off after the flagship.

"Don't worry, miss," the pilot smiled reassuringly. "She has her own transportation." He indicated the radar, which showed a small blip labeled "Jedi fighter." They had passed through the atmosphere, and Ryshel wasn't far behind. As she passed them up, her fear was confirmed; the Imperial fleet had gathered to block their escape. And from the looks of it, their numbers had doubled from the last encounter she'd had with them.

"This is not good." Ryshel said matter-of-factly. R4 beeped in agreement.

"Absolutely," the pilot nodded, "so long as our Jedi master has a plan to get around this." His tone was even and calm, but as he indicated the fleet blocking their way, numerous others began to panic.

"We're awaiting your orders, miss Kitana."

"Give me a moment to think!" Ryshel said a little impatiently. What in the worlds was she supposed to do now? They were obviously outnumbered, but there was no way she was going back to the Emperor again today. There was only one option, though its risk was severe.

"Captain, is the ion cannon we had installed fully functional yet?"

"Affirmative, miss Kitana," the captain said. "But even that won't be enough against all of them, will it?"

"No, which is why you need to prepare for lightspeed and charge the cannon at the same time."

"But ma'am, what if there isn't enough energy to do it all at once? And the minute we fire the first shot, the rest will be on top of us..."

"That's why I'm going in as a distraction. Scramble the other fighters and have them meet me in attack formation."

"Aye ma'am."
