Antares rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I appreciate the offer, but I'm not sure how much help is really needed for the moment. If you did see what went on there, you'd know that his methods are non-violent but still dangerous. You saw how he used Ryu's feelings for that other teacher to get to him. He could start playing on your hatred towards demons."

kain started laughing after that "justice.....is there really such a thing" kain said more to himself then antares but still out loud "how if there is one thing i know about demons, its that they hate peace and love, and besides a werewolf like thextera would not even know wat hit him if he ever comes at a fellow student or teacher here at this school while im here"

Antares just stared at him blankly. "So, you're telling me that Ryu hates peace and love? I seriously doubt that. As for the other demons, I agree that they love nothing more than a good fight...and their traditions revolve around violence...but they exist in this world for a reason. Don't ask me what reason that is because I don't know, but they were given just as much a right to live here as you and I."
Antares then shook his head at Kain's comment about Thextera. "He isn't the type to do things that recklessly. If I'm correct, he probably knows something about everybody here, including you. Whatever he's planning, he probably has a mass of backup plans to go along with it."

Melody came back to hear what Kain said and it made her a little mad. Demons can learn and forget what love is. I remind you that at one point they were angels. They just made a bad choice. Anyone can make a bad choice. And about Thextera I plan to stop him before a single plan even starts. I will not give up on my hope that there is still good in him and I will make him remember it.

Antares rubbed his head again, he could see that this was going nowhere. "Alright, fine, you can help. But on two conditions: One, you follow any orders that Ryu or I give, whether it's asking you to scout somewhere or telling you to retreat, no complaints. Two, you put aside your grudge against the Demons." He said. His tone indicated that he wasn't open to any bargaining.

Antares just sighed as Kain left. "You people..." He muttered.
Xaix entered the room slowly and looked at the man. "Umm excuse me, is Mr Archaona here?"
Antares just burst out laughing. "Xaix, don't tell me you don't recognise your old teacher."
Xaix just stared for a moment. "Mr...Mr Archaona?" He said, a little stunned.

Melody laughed at Xiax's reaction. Weird right? But he is more fun this way. He told me in the past that he dated a few gypsies. That is so not like him. She opened a bag of popcorn and threw some in the air to catch in her mouth.

Antares laughed at Melody's comment. "Hey, I know I said don't tell the older me, but I'd like for a minimal amount of people to know thanks." He turned back to Xaix. "So what can I do for you today?"
Xaix slowly regained his composture. "I wanted to know if you knew any more about Thextera now." He said, his face going blank.
Antares nodded. "Well, all I can really say is that he's not doing anything violent as such, but he's still on the loose in the Demon Kingdom. He seems to have a way of monitoring us here as well, so I wouldn't be suprised if he's watching us right now."

Xaix shook his head at Melody's offer. "No thank you." He turned back to Antares. "So is there anything you're planning on doing involving Thextera?" He asked anxiously. He knew it would only be a matter of time before Thextera does something, so he wanted this to end as soon as possible.
Antares walked over to Melody and took some of the popcorn she offered. "Thanks, haven't gotten to eat popcorn in ages." As he ate some, he turned back to Xaix. "Ryu's sending me to the Kingdom when he gets back. I'll be keeping an eye on him till we come up with a way of getting rid of him."

Melody laughed and took some more popcorn in her hand. That reminds me of when we were little and that jerk always cheated at hide and seek. Always! She was hyper because of her pills but it would wear off soon. She leaned against a desk and drew her sword to look at it.
