"And now you know that C.C. discovered America." he said, forgetting the situation and laughing. "Are you okay?" he asked her. Something told him she felt something almost painful.

"Yeah, yeah. It's fine. Nothing really." Wrong. what was that? I've heard about it before though, i need a drink. "I'll be..right back..." I said absent mindedly. Suddenly the stories all came back to me, the images played in my head over and over like a record on replay. "No" I whispered, determined. I ran up to my room and crouched to my bag, pulling out a vial I took the top off and up ended it. Then another one. 'That should last me...I hope.' I ran back downstairs to Shane and resumed my spot.

"You arn't okay." Shane said, completly forgetting the fact that the situation was less than favorable. "I can tell when people are lying. It almost literatly drives me up the walls. What's wrong?"

Savy didn't want to tell him, didn't want to make him worry actually, "It's nothing. And how can you tell if someone's lying? Are my pupils dialating?" I widened my eyes for him to see, and a small laugh shook my shoulders lightly.

"I read minds. When someones lying, it gives off a wave of...I don't know really, it's different for everyone. When you lie. Which you were. It's like someone opened a window in the middle of winter. Suddenly it gets really cold. When Scarlet lies to me its like I'm about to be sick to my stomach." he shrugged, but was smiling. "Different for everyone."

"Nice, but as long as you don't know what I'm lying about, then you'll be fine. I don't want to worry you. And with that, I've just piqued your interest and you're just going to have to live with the feeling that I'm lying and not know why. ha!"

"That's not true. I could always just go into your head and find it. Easy." Shane knew what was comming next. He figured this outcome from the begining. "But I won't. Just don't ask my motives behind the self torture of knowing I could know what your hiding from me."

"It's not that big of a deal, but it's a total pain to go through. Though, if you went through my head to find out, it would seem a lot worse than it is. Although, you're a second party," its much more of horror to the one getting deathly sick.

Back at the house. Eisens wandered around the house for a short while. Feeling sort of like he was a welcome intruder in this house. He had a sort of content nervousness about him. Looking around the room. He looked for some place to sit down. It had been something that he just had to live with. Sudden spells of tiredness of weakness. Would fall over him at random times. This was just a part of getting old. Though, it was far worse. For many of the people that he went to Highschool with. He would bump into one of them every once in awhile. Though, most had moved away. Or died off, due to old age or whatever. It was sort of odd. When a young person. Contracted some sort of respiratory illness. Slipping away in the night. The disease would be called by its proper name. Though, if an old timer like him were to slip away in the night. Many would just say they died of old age. Except for the doctor. Which actually made them seem more intelligent. Just by acknowledging that simple fact. While everyone else carried on with there lives. Saying and convincing each other and themselves. Of whatever would make there passing more bearable. There was an oddity about him. That most never had to go through. It had actually sprouted around Spring Break of 1967. He'd always had a mild ability. Some people referred to such a thing as Spiritualism. Others just got angry at the concept. Or ignored it completely. Then there were some that used simplistic terms like ghost sighting. Whatever it was. He could definitely see ghosts. But it was only on occasion. Which begged the question. If he was actually seeing things or not. Making convincing other people of his gift. All the more difficult. Because everyone else doubted his gift. He in turn doubted it. Making it not as strong as it could have been. One day, he was driving along in his mint condition 1957 red cherry Buick. When he saw something in his rear view mirror. It was a gorgeous sun that he could see over the water. Next to the open road. There were small bodies of rock. That would sit along side of the water. There, he heard something coming from the waves. It was a mesmerizingly beautiful sound. The singing of an Angel he thought at first. Or a hallucination from the heat perhaps. The sound had made him. Suddenly be struck with a sudden feeling of love. It warmed his heart enough. Where Eisens couldn't help stop the car. This was back when he was in his twenties. He was a fairly handsome tall man with black hair and somewhat gangster-like clothing. Down by the rocks next to the water. He saw something moving next to the rocks. Then, as if the creature herself had given him the power to see them from that distance. He stared, awestriction. At the most beautiful women he had ever set eyes on. It was like she was right there in front of him. Though, he soon discovered. She was not just an ordinary human. This Mermaid, flipped there blue tail out of the water. The sun, seemed to rest on there pure blue hair. He saw the Mermaid wink at him. After that, he lost complete control of reason. He couldn't see a single thing around him. Except for her. Eisens had stepped forward off of the road. Rolling down the steep hill. Fur of burs and a few cacti. The Cacti, he had luckily been able to avoid on his way down the hill. When he woke up several hours later. After having a marvelous dream. About swimming around the ocean with that Mermaid at his side. He woke up on the beach. Without a single person in sight. It was weird. After that moment had occurred. Every person he spoke with. He saw a sort of outline around them. Sort of like the waters edge. Only, it was different for each person. He figured, it had been a gift. Given to him by that Mermaid. She had to have seen him for what he really was that day. Accepting him, though Eisens never saw them again. He still carried there gift with him. Along with the memory of the one that got away. Eisens had drifted off to sleep in one of the chairs. While thinking back on his past. He'd relived the time. All those years ago in his dream. Nothing had changed from what he remembered. Except, he was slightly aware that he had experienced this once before. It hadn't changed a single thing that happened to him in the dream. Eisens woke up slightly groggy. He'd suddenly just drifted off to sleep. After sitting down in a chair.

"The fact that something is wrong is a bit more nerve racking than the fact your hiding it from me." Shane looked down and away, now seeing May and giving her a slight smile, which rememded him he was supposingly the man with the big ego, thinking he could just make Alex and Shane do what he said. He looked back up at Savy, "If something's wrong, I can heal it. I'm not as good as Scarlet, but I can. And I would ask Scarlet but she's standing is a semi-shocked state."

Satin stopped as the two where having conversation. Now, maybe you just lost everything! I thought. This couldn't be satin, he would've killed me by now. Maybe his brother that had the same name? Who knew. Wait, he did. "Who are you? You aren't Satin, he wouldv'e killed me by now." Satin grinned. "I am his cousin, and we have the same name. I am not the same person who killed you, but I will bring all four of you to that man and POOOF your dead and gone, not going to Heaven, but to be damned in hell, mostly you vampires for killing." I turned. "We turn people into vampires, itiot. We only kill people that threaten us." Satin turned. "You three will still be damned, and so will those pixies!" Satin yelled, cutting skin off of Shane and Savys face, saying, "Dare for more?" I turned to May, who I could see was holding back tears. Feel free to cry, hun. I said in mind thought to may, and she shook her head. "What, you're confused about you three? Well, I want you two because we only need less vampires. You are just easy to squash and it's rather fun." he looked at Shane. "FOSTIO!" He yelled, possibly waking everyone up in the city. "Just stop it!" May yelled. "Oh, little girl trying to be brave. How cute." He pointed a touch at her. "You will shut up now." "No." "Thats it." Satin said, as May screamed. I ran up, and pushed her out of the way, and we both fell. He aimed for us again, but I used vampire speed to get her out. He put a spell on each of us then, and we all couldn't move. "I suggest that you all come down, NOW.'' he yelled, teleported us all to an underground world that wasn't hell, but it was still underground. "What's your problem?" I asked him. "Shut up." he grinned. "If you guys find a way out, its the end for all of you." he smiled now. "You can't get out unless I or someone from the regular world comes and rescuses you. And, it must be a mortal." he sat back on a chair. "Oh, here's might be well." he pointed a ring of fire and it came right up, around us four. May was holding on to me, crying without making any sound. Satin then went out, and if they somehow made there way out, he would teleport back, and kill them all. There was no way out of this one.

Shane's hand went to Savy's face without thinking and it healed quickly. He did the same with his own. Upon touching her in the healing way, he knew something was wrong. Shane turned to the group (i think thats spelt right but it doesn't look right), "Don't worry you guys. A mortal wont be too hard to covince, even from down here." he sounded more confedent than he really was. But he saw the flaw in that too. Must be mortal. Lucky for them, Scarlet just happened to be mortal. Now he just had to get her attention.

May didn't look too convinced, but, I think she was staying strong. This was hard for a six year old, and poor her fr not knowing what to do. She had the hardest life. "I know." I said, looking at May.

Shane smiled for a second, "Scarlet's a mortal. We won't be here too long. As soon as I can get through her shock and suprised horror I'll tell her what's up." Or you could just ask me politly right now. Scarlet's thoughts came to him, but everyone could hear her, Now what's the magic words? "Please...?"

I grinned, but she could tell that May was still frightened. She wanted this to end. "He'll teleport back, though. And kill us." May said.
