Ryshel merely nodded, as she was concentrating pretty hard on deflecting many shots back at the destroyer droids. Their shields protected them well, but a well placed shot or deflection could cripple their legs, putting them off balance and leaving their heads more vulnerable.

"Go for the legs!" she shouted.

"Do whatever you have to," she yelled over the tumult. "But Kadea, you're in no condition to fight!" she cautioned her friend. "We'll protect you, be patient!"

Boss had shamfully hidden behind a pillar. "But it was for Cat...." He looked down upon her and resolved that it had been nesissary. There was no person who cared more for those kids than Cat. And no one who loved Cat more than.....

Cat decided that it was woth the risk to see who her captor was, and she cracked her eye open. "Boss?" Her voice was barely audible, for that torture had tacken a lot more out of her than even she realized. She couldn't move at all.

Cat looked up at him. She had never realy heard that tone in his voice before, and she wasn't sure she liked it.... "Boss... I-I... I'm realy weak. I can't move my limbs." The look in her eyes betrayed that it killed her to admit this. She took a deep breath as if it was dificult to. "It's hard to breath too, I think.... I think I held out to long... against their assult....." She winced at the sound of rubble falling around them. She closed her eyes, and in her mind she was thinking about how she was jepordizing this mission by not being able to fight and bringing down another of their number, espesially one so compitent, down.

"I thought you said this was supposed to be the easy way out!" Lee yelled from behind her.

"It is!" she snapped back. Oh how she hated guns, but what had to be done had to be done. Running right into the middle of it all, continuing to deflect every enemy shot, she powered down her lightsaber and shot a massive Force-push to push them back long enough to grab some blaster rifles from the fallen stormtroopers. She chucked some back at the others and wielded two of her own, mowing the not-quite-recovered line of enemies in front of them down with multiple shots in quick succession and deadly accuracy. With the break in enemy numbers, she relit her lightsaber and motioned for everyone to fall in behind her.

"Let's get out of here!" she cried.

Ryshel ducked behind some rubble just as a stream of machine-gun fire zoomed over her head. She sat with her back to the enormous block of stone and made sure the others had gotten safely behind cover as well. Blasts of gunfire went shooting past above and to the side of the rubble they were using as cover, and she could tell it was going to be less than easy to retaliate. Even worse, stormtroopers from the other end of the complex would start showing up from where they just came in no time, and the controls for the blast doors were too out in the open.

Where's an R unit when I need one?! she thought frustratedly. Then she smacked her forehead, pulling out a little comlink and pressing a button. R4-D6 came to life on the X-Wing and sent a frustrated stream of beeps over the comlink at her.

"I know I know...I should've brought you along, I'm sorry alright?" she shouted over the din. "Lock onto my signal and get over here! The complex isn't far from where we parked. Hurry!" She turned to the others. "Switch, I need you to watch our backs; they're gonna start coming from where we just did. I'm afraid that door is too complex even for your expertise, so my R4 unit is on the way. Kadea, I need you to shoot around your cover from time to time to keep those guns thinking, and Boss you too, a little further that way so they have two of you to worry about. I'm going to work my way around behind them!"

Switch noded, liad Kadea down took something from her belt uncorked it and dumped water on her face. She slapped her somewhat hard across the face to fully rose her, " Kadea we need your help, provide cover fire from around teh corner..." She had to shout her ordres over the machine gun. Moving away from Kadea she trained her twin SMG's on teh area they had come from and waited. "Target Practice" she muttered, her guns roaring to life as the first white head apeared.



Kadea sputtered, as icy cold water was dumped over her head and she was brutalized into wakefullness, she blinked, shocked, and nodding she let her heda fall back against the dust strewn stone, getting her barrings and got to the position she wsa needed in. Taking one of Switch's pistols she waited for Erin's signal


Boss looked down at her, dug in her thigh pocket finding the beans he looked at them, " theses better not be drugs Cat, and they better not hurt you or so help me..." His tone was mixed concern and atthoritive. He poped the bean into her mouth and gave her water to swallow with.
