The only expression of confusion he gave was a couple of blinks. Talking to himself? Ah. Senbonzakura. "You are mistaken. Simply because you could not see my companion does not mean he wasn't there." He felt like a child explaining the existence of his imaginary friend, but it wasn't as if he was insane; well, not back home anyway. Here he might be considered a complete loon. His brows furrowed at the realization; being pinned as insane was not exactly a good thought. "No, I am not. If you were able to come to such a conclusion, that leaves me with the impression you share my predicament or perhaps you've already met others that do." Byakuya didn't comment on her concern with fighting in the library. While he would prefer not to battle with her at all, he had no qualms doing so inside; a battlefield was a battlefield. "Byakuya Kuchiki. And, you would be?" "Cherrim!" Byakuya looked at the flower monster, which had climbed down to sit on the handle of his Zanpakuto, when she introduced herself. Or, at least, that was what he thought she did. He honestly had no idea.

Airibell? That was a planet Krystal wasn't familiar with. However, it was rather nice to meet another fox being, despite he wasn't from Cerinia. "I was wondering...how exactly did you end up here in this planet? And have you met other foreigners as well?" She asked curiously. If there was a pattern as to how these otherworlders arrived in Aselia, maybe there could be a way for them to return home the way they came.

The man's comment had Tear raise an eyebrow. It was as if he was explaining that his unseen companion was real, like a child trying to explain that his imaginary friend exists. Whether or not the Melodist believes him is something she is unsure of at the moment. He could be telling the truth. His companion might be here afterall, perhaps using some sort of arte to keep himself stealthed. Or maybe his companion was a ghost. That or...the man himself was just some lunatic hallucinating someone that's not there at all.

It was then the dark-haired male mentioning his impression that the Melodist have either met others that shared his predicament or she herself does from how she drew such conclusion about him. "Both actually." She said. "I myself share the same predicament as you do, and I have met others from other worlds as well. We were actually discussing our plans regarding the shadows...least we were before they had disappeared for some odd reason." She did hope that Cross, Elize, and Alvin were alright, where ever they were. Hopefully, whatever happened to them had returned them to their respective worlds. The man then introduced himself as Byakuya. "Tear Grants. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." The Melodist then glanced at the flower creature that climbed down to sit on the handle of Byakuya's weapon. A blush then stained her cheeks. So cute... She thought to herself. "Is this creature from your world as well?"

The sword attempts to dodge the attacks from Kratos while dueling with him in the air before being caught off-guard by the devices pitched at it. It has to resort to letting go of Temmie in order to move far enough away to avoid them, causing Temmie to become unconscious and return to normal size, falling limply towards the ground. Solaire, noticing Tem's unconscious state, quickly sprints towards and catches the creature. Rhone, seeing his chance, leaps off the boulder he used for cover and grabs a hold of the sword's handle in an attempt to keep it from attacking.

"You need to stop."

The sword screeches and as Rhone lands, the cloth arm of the sword wraps around Rhone's own arm. Rhone quickly falls to one knee and holds his head for a few moments before slowly standing up, his eyes glowing purple as a ghostly aura emits from his body.

Her hairs stood on end as she felt a wave of pressure pass by her, as if an invisible wave rushed by her. Whuh? What was that? My body felt all ba-guh all of a sudden. There was something in the air that didn't quite feel right to her. Almost as if something greater than her took over for just a moment.
Upon hearing Zaul, she gave him a quizzical look. "Whaddya mean? Hu-chan is right over-- wha?" Suddenly, her (other) bluenette companion was nowhere to be seen. Doubt quickly tansformed into worry. Pascal knew Hubert was following her with Zaul, he was just beside her. "Hu? Huuuuuuu~! Where aaaaare yoooou? He couldn't have wandered off, again."

Rose's eyes widen slightly upon noticing that Mikhail, Hiccup, Toothless, and Yohan all seem to have vanished right before her eyes. Where could they have gone? Narrowing her eyes, the dark dragoon looked around cautiously as she reached for the hilt of her blade. She had no doubt of the possibility that someone may have used an advanced teleportation spell on Hiccup and the others. If this was someone's idea of a joke, she sure didn't find it funny. Not seeing anyone else in the area, she decided to keep moving to Meltokio. If Dart and the others weren't there, then she would have to make the trip to Sybak. Though at least for the time being, she can learn more about this strange world.

Hiei could sense a sudden absence of spirit energy just disappearing behind him, which had the three-eyed demon quickly look over to see that Crow, Richard, and Lambda have all disappeared. Even he was taken back by the strange event, mostly due to the fact that he didn't sense anyone else nearby at all. However, this also meant that he didn't have to worry about babysitting the trio. That and he no longer needed to contact that other group. Why waste his time with them any longer when he no longer has Crow, Richard, and Lambda to hold him back now?

Now that he thought about it, he didn't receive any more answers from the young fox spirit. His Jagan Eye glowed as he viewed the other group's battle once more. The fox was no longer present among his group. So Richard, Lambda, and Crow weren't the only ones affected. Even the red-haired human seemed to have taken notice of the fox's disappearance. Their battle seemed to have taken a rather interesting development as they were able to save the odd creature, yet it would seem that the other redhead had fallen under some of sort of possession by the living sword. Hiei smirked at that. Possession was an ability the Jagan Eye had granted him. He didn't watch any more of the battle as he put his headband back on. He did have his own agenda to focus on afterall, and cannot afford any more delays.

He would then continue his way to Sybak, this time picking up his speed now that he was on his own once more. Hopefully he can get the information he needed to return back to Demon World as well as find any clues on the whereabouts of Yukina's necklace.

Though it didn't show because he was focused forward, Lloyd listened intently to Dart's explanation about his Dragoon Spirit. So it's kinda like an Exsphere only the origin isn't as dark, he thought, It just sounds like something a dragon of his world leaves when it dies. He began to wear a wide, excited smile upon going on to hear that Dart had transformation and fire powers from his Dragoon Spirit. It was like hearing about Sheena's summoning arts for the first time—it made him think about how much he wanted fire powers of his own to fool around with. And he was interested in seeing Dart demonstrate his abilities!

Lloyd was about to throw questions at Dart (as well as answer that Raine wasn't actually there) when he suddenly mentioned that Issun and Ichi disappeared. Right when they had made it to the front door of the Sage siblings' house too. He whirled around to look behind him, the excitement on his face quickly turning to surprise and alarm. "Wh-whaddya mean they disappeared? How? There wasn't any...noise...or anything..." He wasn't sure what he was expecting from a sudden disappearance like that. "Are you saying they vanished into thin air or something?"





It was practically a whirlwind of researchers and scholars that had whisked Raine away to ask question after question and request reports of her findings. After all that commotion, she finally had a moment of peace to herself and remembered that she had abruptly and impolitely left someone who sought answers from her. She returned to the library to see if that someone was still there. And indeed, that young lady clad in brown still was. But the assortment of personalities she was previously with were no longer there. Had they decided to split up? Incidentally, she arrived after Byakuya and Cherrim had disappeared, so she was unaware they had been there at all.

She approached the melodist with a humbled expression on her face. "I really must apologize for earlier. The recent events have been trying, and the scientists—no, almost everyone is frantic about trying to make sense of everything. I don't believe I've even properly introduced myself. Let's start over again, shall we? My name is Raine Sage. Was there anything else you needed me for?"





After all that had happened, all Sheena really wanted right about now was some quiet time to herself to think and store in memory the important things she'd learned. She sought the highest vantage point of the ruins to be alone while at the same time be able to keep an eye on how things were developing between the evacuated residents of three towns. If tensions were getting too high somewhere, she decided she'll go down and break it up.

She spotted that little girl from Luin that had gotten separated from her mother finally being reunited with her. It was all just a misunderstanding. Sheena smiled warmly, a wave of relief washing over her as one burden was lifted from her soul. She decided she'll give back that locket the little girl had dropped later.

A few minutes from that, she watched something rather alarming happen. One moment, she could see all the people that looked like obvious other-worlders; in the next, they were just...gone. The girl that seemed to command a wyvern. The dark-clad man whose companion was a womanly spirit. The young man all clad in blue military attire. Soul and Maka. All of them...disappeared all at once. Sheena blinked several times, wondering if she had really seen that just happen. Fortunately it only seemed to be other-worlders that were disappearing...though she felt guilty thinking of the situation that way, and hoped they were safe or even back home.

"Luna," Sheena softly called, "Would you please tell Aska to also relay what's been happening to other-worlders?"

"Certainly, Lady Sheena," Luna replied in her mind from the spirit plane.

((I'd like Sheena to be left alone, please. Just thought I'd write out something for her because she is still there so I think she still should be reacting to things.))

Upon is touch, she could feel her anxious thoughts hit a wall. Pascal could still feel a twinge of pain when Zaul touched her. No matter how much she wanted to look for Hubert, she knew she was in no position to do so.
She swallowed her panic and followed Zaul behind a dilapidated wall, following his instructions on where to stand. Despite her wilting condition, her eyes gawked greedily at his two pistols. Omigosh! Gotta get a good look at those guns, sometime soon. Upon hearing Zaul's warning, Pascal waves a dismissive hand and pshaws. "That's nothing! I have a Shotgun Staff and Hu has a Dualblade which can turn into a pair of guns."
Glyphs began to spun around their feet, almost mimicing her cryas artes. She saw the two energy bullets charging at her and braced herself for impact. For a moment, she felt nothing, not even whiplash from the force of the arte (or at least she thought it was some sort of arte). All she could feel now were the soft, cool swirls of water, mending her flesh. Once the magic faded she felt as if she had a refershing dip in a lake and not like those ice cold baths back in the Enclave. "Ahh! I feel fresh as a daisy!"
