Markas snorted fire in his sleep, nuzzling Ignis. "You have to trick him to get him up," Joshua muttered, not looking up from his book. "The more creative you can get the funnier it is when he bolts up."

 Ignis tilted his head, thinking of what he could say that would get him up. Last time, Viktor had used Nessie getting married but ... "Markas," the salamander said softly, "My relatives have some to visit and I'm afraid they've decided to have a party in which they burn your house down ..." He wondered if that would get the wanted reaction.

Markas blinked sleepily while the words processed in his head. Then his eyes widened and he jumped up, trying to straighten his clothes and hair at the same time, failing miserably at both. "Aw s**t, I have to get dressed and take a shower! I look like s**t, oh my god they must think I'm some hobo!" The rest of the statement sunk into his brain and he started freaking out. "Crap, I have to fireproof the house! Joshua, you take a shower for me and get something nice out for me to wear while I fireproof the place and find the extinguisher!" The Dragon then went to run off, failing to notice the coffee table in the middle of the room, tripping over it and landing on his face. "...Ow..."
Joshua looked up from his book, holding back laughter.

Ignis, unlike Joshua, didn't hold in his laughter. He rolled around on the couch, laughing uproariously. "Hahahaha! Oh do calm down Markas. It was a joke. And I really don't see how Joshua can take a shower for you ..." he snickered, tail curling in amusement. "Believe me, if I want you to meet my relatives, I'll give you plenty of warning and a non-ignitable place to meet them."

The Dragon groaned and rolled over, grumbling, "Thanks guys... Love ya too..." He got up and yawned, stretching. "Did I miss anything while out?"

"Not that I know of," Ignis said, having been asleep as long as Markas. Though, at least the dragon recovered from meeting the floor-face first quickly. "Though--"And then a knock came from the front door. And odd sort-of soft, airy knock. Probably because it was an invisible Air Elemental, here to deliver a message. Ignis tilted his head at the knock, wondering if that was the message he'd been expecting and would have to pass on to Lord Nox.

Markas tilted his head, frowning a bit. "Kinda early, doncha think...?" he muttered, getting up and answering the door. He blinked when he saw absolutely nothing, but he could feel a slight stirring in the air. Being a Dragon, he was always attuned to the wind direction. He tilted his head, frowning more. "Erm... Okaaaaaay then..."

Ignis peeked out, and saw the Air Elemental. "Ven, come in. But show yourself; they're friends of mine.""Oooooh!" a voice said, a pale, almost ghostly bird appearing. There were many kinds of Wind Elementals, but Ignis liked these kind the best. Ven zoomed in, bringing in a breeze. "Right right! There's to be a meeting tonight in the usual place. Lord Nox, if he's alive at the moment, is encouraged to join." Ignis chuckled at the gust of wind, but answered back, "Yes, he'll be coming."The bird gave a small laugh then flew back out, after having messed up every paperish object on the first floor. Ignis sighed. "Wind Elementals ... Well, looks like I need to find Lord Nox then."

Markas looked around the once-neat house and sighed, flopping back down in the chair. "Well... There goes all of Joshua's hard work." He grabbed Ignis, hugging him and yawning. "Nox is either back at Winter's manor or he's with Vikky."

Ignis blinked at being hugged, but didn't wiggle around. "Well then," he said, "we should go look for him then. I'm pretty sure he would want this news asap."

"Okay... Be back later, Josh." Markas got up and walked off, still holding Ignis the way a child might hold their favorite stuffed animal. He paused a bit in the center of the house. "Or do you want to go as a human? I have clothes that'll fit you so you won't have to make them."

Ignis thought about it, pondering the temperature of the air. "Hm, okay. If you wouldn't mind keeping me warm," the salamander decided, looking up at Markas.

Markas grinned and walked into his room, setting Ignis down on the bed. "Since when have I ever refused to keep you warm?" he asked. "Of course I will, silly salamander." He stared digging through his closet, looking for something fairly appropriate.

 Ignis smiled, curling up on the bed and waiting for Markas to find what he could. With a stretch he turned human, not embarrassed to be naked in front of the dragon, and sat leisurely on the bed, legs hanging off. "Well you'd better keep me warm. Otherwise you'll be short one salamander." But he only spoke teasingly, smiling lazily.

Markas pulled out pants and a shirt, walking over and setting them on the bed, standing over Ignis. "Trust me, I'll keep you nice and toasty." He grinned, looking Ignis over. "Besides, I like you human. When you're human I can do this." He kissed him, reaching up and running his fingers through the salamander's hair. He pulled back fairly quickly, snickering. "Or this." He lightly tugged Ignis' hair. "This." He took his other hand and intertwined his finger's with Ignis'. "Or this..." He kissed down his neck teasingly. "I just get so much to do with you like this."
