The wind kicked up, howling violently around her in a torrent of activity. She gripped her arms close to her chest and clasped her hands around the tops of her shoulders. Though the pressure was fierce no sound resonated in her sensitive ears. Kaie's yellow eyes reflected in the cool white clouds that enshrouded her. She screamed but nothing came out.
-None of them can hear you little one.-
Kaie's eyes flitted to her left then right and finally she just closed them tight, shaking her head.
-You've been set free. Accept it. You have ALL the power you wanted, desired, isn't that enough!-
Tears streamed from Kaie's eyes. She just wanted to see Grey. She wanted to feel real air on her skin and hear the sounds of the world around her. Instead, she was offered only silence and bitter chills.
-Ssssshhhh...Reaver and I have you to thank for all this. It is because of your search for that old Dullis that we found one another again. You set things into motion. Be still, I will grant you what you need...if only to see peace restored to those strange gold eyes of yours.-...
Kaie sat up screaming. She stopped quickly as she realized her voice had returned and Grey was laying beside her. His eyes were wide with confusion. Tears made of blood and water rolled down her cheeks and she huddled in on herself, wrapping her arms around her knees and tucking her face away from everything. What was that? This vision...it kept repeating itself. Even when she was awake it repeated. Her tears turned into sobs. For the first time in a long time Kaie was afraid.
<>
Willow licked his cheek. -We'll get out of here, don't you worry. I'm back and you're safe now. I'll never let you out of my sight again so long as there is a breath in my body!- She carefully clambered out of the hole and maneuvered through the bramble and bushes in the forest. Her instincts told her to acknowledge Edoiun's call but she ignored him. Sorry earth spirit...not this time...
<>
When he wrapped his arm around her waist she winced but quickly covered it up with a large grin. "I could use a bath too."

" Bad doggy! " Celene said in a twisted tone. She had come out from behind a tree and used her mental powers to stop the two dead in their tracks. Willow felt her legs lock up and become as heavy as stone. Para went flying forward from the sudden stop and flew into a large tree. Celene raised her arm slightly in the air, lifting willow off the ground, and started waving it back and forth. This sent Willow smashing into the sides of two trees. " I should have just broken you at the hotel. This time, I'll make sure you don't get.... " She said just before a large branch hit her in the back of the head. She stumbled forward, releasing her grasp on Willow and setting her free. As she turned to see who had hit her, the branch swung again and connected with the side of her head. She fell to her knee's and blacked out, laying on the forest floor with a small trickle of blood passing over her lip and down her cheek.
Para had snuck up on her while she toy'd with the wolf and struck her as hard as he could. He trew the branch down and hobbled over to Willow. " Baby, you okay? Can you still walk? " he whispered to her, leaning up close to her.
------------------------
Grey sat up and wrapped his arms around kaie's waist. He pulled her in close and started whispering to her. " Shhhh, calm down, you were just having a bad dream. Don't worry, I'm right here. " He tried to comport her to the best of his abilitys but he was still new when it came to women.
-----------------------------
" Hmmmm.... Perhaps I shall join you. " Thallis said, leading her back into the palace. As the Virindi cleaned up the mess, you young one approached the Rep. and looked to see thallis disapper inside with Una. " Don't you find it odd that our Lord has chosen a mortal as his new lover? Alot of us agree that this isn't right. If anything, I think the lowest he should go is a Demigod. " the young one said. The rep just looked down at him and then at the clean up crew.
" Fine then, you go and tell him. Tell him that he shouldn't fraternize with this girl and he should find someone eles. Go ahead and ruin his happiness. You know what he'll revert back to. You'll be back in the library, cataloging books everyday on his whim. "
The young one wanted to try to defend himself but gave up, thinking it best not to start stuff with the rep. He just turned and went back to cleaning.

Willow snarled as she tried to stand then whimpered when her left front paw gave out on her. She could feel the bones inside split in two...in several places. Limping on one paw was not going to get them out of this forest fast enough. As if a solution to her problem the voice of the Elder Spirit, whom she now knew was called Edoiun, cooed to her once again. This time he was reassuring. Stating he only wished to remove the disease that was killing Para and return to his Earthly domain. Willow's eyes settled on Para. -I'm in no shape to take you away from here my love, but perhaps that is not your destiny. I believe it is time I give into my nature.- She carefully morphed into her human form and cradled her broken arm against her naked bosom.
"Come Para. Edoiun, the great father who gave me this shape, who made me Lygara, summons you. He whispers of healing you...and this time, I must not ignore his call." She offered her scratched and bleeding right arm to him, knowing full well he would need help walking. "Come, he can heal us both."
<>
Kaie shook her head. No, it was not just a dream. None of them were just dreams. Something inside her had been awakened. Something happened when she let Serith, the life being, the creator of order, touch her. Kaie had never known such turmoil. It was as if someone else was peering in and trying to plug into her brain and download thousands of images into her skull but she was just an original PC without the processing speed of an elite Pentium. "If only it had been." The dhamphir muttered to herself and snuggled against Grey. "If only it had been."
<>
Una undressed herself, wincing occasionally when she bumped a bruise or pulled a little to much on a sore muscle. It was going to be days before she recovered from this but the human did not let that phase her. For some reason she knew that she would not have days to recover. Thallis would wish to see more of her...he wanted to see if she was worth his time. If she deserved the power that a being such as himself could bestow upon her. When she was fully nude the young human stepped into the wide bath. Its warm water soothed her aching body. With each step, another tremble of relaxing pleasure rippled over her. This was going to be the best bath ever.
The amber eyed female fully submerged herself then splashed up, her curly hair bouncing around her in dampened waves. "Aaaaaaa...just what I needed."
<>
The large oak started to sway too and fro, moving gracefully despite its size, towards where it sensed its earth child to be. "Come virindi. A precious child of mine brings back your lost boy. Let us meet her in the clearing. She is badly injured and will not make it far, no matter her strength."

" I care not for this child of yours. It's probably her fault he ran from us.... But I shall abide by your wishes. " Cir replied in an angry tone. He watched and quickly followed after the earth spirit, following him to the clearing.
-------------
As Para and Willow rested for a moment, willow helping Para up, Celene started to come to. Weakened and confused, she slowly got to her knee's and wiped the blood away from her lower lip. The back and side of her head was bruised and her head was throbbing. It felt like someone was banging a gigantic bell in her brain and the ringing just wouldn't stop. " You..... you ******** p***k! I'll make you ******** pay for that you d**k! I'll rip you both to pieces! " She muttered to herself under her breath.
As she stood up, her vision went haywire and everything started spinning. She couldn't see anything straight as it all started melting together. " I'll ******** kill both of you Assholes! " She screamed. With her powers, she ripped tree's out of the ground and threw them and smashed them against anything the looked person shaped. She missed the two completely, mainly smashing the trees into other trees or large rocks.
It wasn't long before she dropped to her knee's, grabbed her head and started screaming at the top of her lungs. Her anger and powers only aggravated the throbbing in her head. She broke out in tears and started crying, letting out a low whimpering as she curled into a ball and tried to shut everything out.
---------------------------
During the Fray, Para forced himself and Willow to the ground and layed there, hoping the insane woman didn't see them. One tree went flying over them and crashed into the ground just a couple feet behind them. When she fell to the ground and curled into a ball, he slowly sat back up and helped his lover back up. " I don't think we should be here in-case she decides to get back up. "
As the two got back up to their feet and Para put his arm over her shoulder, they turned to see Edoiun, Cir, Vic, and Jugg all walking out of the forest towards them. " You've got to be ******** kidding me... " he muttered under his breath.
---------------------------
As she snuggled up against him, Grey couldn't help but feel weak. He wanted despritely for her to feel better but whatever was happening to her just wouldn't leave her alone. It was supposed to be a joyous season but only bad and negative things seemed to be happening. He propped her up slightly and laid her head next to his, his arm resting on her waist. He turned his head and leaned in, giving her a deep kiss. " Whatever happens, I'll always be by side. No matter what. We'll find a way through this and stop these visions of yours, I promise. "
-----------------------------
Thallis soon joined his lover, taking his human form. He slipped of his garments and slipped into the water, taking a seat next to Una. He scooted up next to her so their bodies were touching and looked over at her, giving her a warm and gentle smile. " You know, for only being a mortal, your quite a thing. Quick and agile, yet also, very powerful and ferocious. Those golems would have destroyed a normal person but you... " he said, taking a pause to move some hair out of her face. " You made it look very easy. "

Una sighed. "It may have looked easy but I assure you," she raised her arm from the water and turned it so he could see a deep purple bruise forming there. "It was not as easy as you think." Her amber eyes closed and she set her head against Thallis human shoulder. "I feel like I did back-" She stopped herself. No, it was useless considering the past in this instance. "Let's just say I am tired, sore and somewhat regretting having fought those two. Two more strikes and I'm not sure I would be here enjoying such a luxury."
<>
Willow snarled when Vic, Jugg and one of those tendon people appeared in the clearing. What confused her the most was the fact that Edoiun, who had taken the form of a massive oak tree, was walking beside them. Her eyes narrowed but the voice in her head kept the lycan from getting too enraged. "Don't step any closer." She growled, her voice grumbling low from her human vocal chords. The lycan's gold eyes flashed defensively. "What is this Edoiun?"
"Quiet little one. You have been around for a very long time and have seen the many life cycles of this poor boy. Let me heal him of his illness so that he may live this life and the next ones free of the corpus which saps him so." The oak then shifted its leafy gaze to Para. "Do not fear me child. There is a power in you that you are not yet aware of. It is being held back by the corpus which ails you. If you would but let me cure you of this disease...you could do magnificent things. You could bend matter, control energy and even learn to take the form of a wolf and run with you loving life mate."
Willow looked at Para in amazement. He had never been very strong in the three live she had witnessed him live. His first life was merely an acquaintance, his second her first love and this one...well, it was proving to be rather nice. But to have him run with her...no one had run with her in centuries. She was separated from her people by thousands of miles and hundreds of years...they would not remember her. Likely, none of her kind still existed...no Lygaras that is. "Para..."

Kaie nodded and kissed him back. "I believe you."

As Grey and Kaie layed back to sleep, a terrible high pitched screamed echoed throughout the entire mansion. It sounded like a young woman who was being burned alive over and over and over again. Seconds afterwards, Fred was flying and wailing like a banshee out of hell. He phased through all the walls and flew through everyone's rooms, sputtering nothing but nonsense. The look on his eyes was that of pure terror and dread.
" He's coming... He's coming... He's coming! When he arrives, he'll bathe us in his fiery anger and we'll all become unto dust... " He repeated of and over again, twichwing and trembling. His fingers ran across his mask, over and over again untill it was covered in deep cuts.
He flew threw their room, crashed into the desk and bounced off the floor and walls before phasing through into violets room.
----------------------------
" Yes, I have need of you boy and you have need for me... weather if you know it or not. " Cir said, bowing before Para and Willow. " If you chose to remove the disease from yourself, you will become quite power full but without a proper knowledge of how to use it, you'll become very.... Dangerous to those around you. So I offer you this, help me with my job and I shall teach you things and show you things that you could have never imagined. "
-----------
Para was taken back by everything he had heard. He was part wolf due to his father but it never showed. The Corpus suppressed that in him. Without the Corpus, He would become a full wolf like he was meant to be. Without it though would be like chunk of his life and who he was were being ripped away. " I... I don't know.... I.... This is alot to take at once.... I need to think for a moment....
He thought for a moment and listened to Cir's offer. " You kidnapped me and then expect me to help you. With what? Why would I help you?
---------------------------
" I admit, our first meeting was a bit harsh but it was the only way. You wouldn't have trusted me if I asked you kindly. " he said low tone. He turned to look at his side and noticed Celene laying on the ground, writhing in pain. " I see you've done a crack pot job on beating up my daughter. How did it feel hitting someone smaller and weaker than you, make you feel strong you brute? "
Before Para could turn and answer, Cir cut him off. " It doesn't matter, she had it coming anyways. Anyways, what do I need your help with? " He said pausing for a moment. " Why, to help me save this world you call home. As anyone with eyes can see that this world so slowly dying and soon, everything shall wither and die and this planet shall nothing more than a large casket, a shine to your yourselves. With your help though, We could heal the damages and save this world. "
---------------
Para thought long and hard. Everyone around him was silent and waiting for an answer. He put hand in hand and the good and bad of each situation. Going along with it is what everyone wants but a large part of himself is ripped away. They say he'll power stronger than he could ever imagine and he would be a wolf just like his lover. Though, it could just be a hoax just to use him for something. Something wasn't right with him but with all eyes beating down on him, He looked up and nodded.
" Okay... I"ll do it.... "
-------------------------------
" Now... " Thallis said, sliding up closer to her, wrapping an arm around her waist. " Don't tell me your too bruised and beat up to skip out on tonight. " he whispered in her ear.
While those two were bathing, The Rep was holding a meeting of his most loyal supporters. " What is going on out there? " The rep asked, crossing his arms over his chest. " One larger ones next to him, pulled out a folded piece of parchment and read it allowed. " This is the report from our spy. The Traitor Cir and his happy bunch of idiots have been spotted with the earth spirit. The lord's son and his lover have also been spotted meeting with them. "
" We believe something foul is afoot and it has something to do with the boy. " another one spoke. The Rep thought for a moment before turning and leaving the chamber. " I am organizing a squad to be sent and deployed, I will be leading it. I want to see you all prepared and at the stone in no less than ten minutes. "

Her teeth emerged, she sat straight up and a low, rumbling hiss escaped her warm coral lips. The creature within her was awake, frightful and defensive. Kaie's right arm pressed itself against Grey, protecting him from whatever danger may present itself. Much to her dismay and irritation it was simply Fred who came wailing through their room, phasing in and out sporadically before passing out of sight completely. Kaie frowned and looked at Grey, her fang peeking out from beneath her lips and giving the attractive woman an eerie appearance. "What the f-k was that about?"
Her white hair fell into her face as she removed herself from their bed. Kaie was tired, weary and quite annoyed with the happenings of the day and the night but this could not be ignored. Fred did not just fly around screaming...wait, scratch that. He did not fly around FEARFULLY screaming all the time. Something had triggered this reaction and she intended to know what. Using her rediscovered energy, Kaie extended her hand toward the wall Fred had phased through and said, "Come to me." She gripped her hand in a fist then yanked backwards. Much to her delight and shock the virindi toppled through her wall. His scratched mask still wore an almost terrified expression. The dhamphir gently laid her hands on Fred's face and stared him directly in the eyes. "Who is coming Fred?"
<>
Willow touched Para's arm. "You must be sure. This is irreversible." She understood that the corpus was an innate part of her. Though he did not know it, she, too, suffered from the disease. The years in experimentation with the mortals had left a stain on her genetic code. Lucky for her the age of her genetics enabled her body to adapt and mutate the corpus, making her stronger and more perceptive. Regardless of her talents, however, the corpus was killing her Para and she was not sure if she could stand to watch him die another time. "Remember, no matter what, I will be here for you. I will always find you...and I will raise you as many times as I must."
Edoiun appreciated the love and compassion his earth child offered the infected youth of his son. Willow was a magnificent creature. She had been through so much and was, quite literally, the last of her breed. Those who remained were no longer Lygara, just Lycanthropes and Were's. While he could have protected them over the centuries he had decided to let them find their own way. Sadly, their volatile natures were their demise...except this rare being. Something within her varied. His wooden voice whispered over the two. "She speaks truth little one. I cannot reverse it once the act has been done. In the lives that follow...you will be without the corpus. Consider carefully...though Cir has a good point. You will finally be able to defend yourself and your mate."
<>
Una grinned. "Hmmm, no, I will definitely not be skipping out on tonight." She rubbed her hips against his. "There is still so much that I have to show you afterall."
<>
Serith settled onto a building. This world, so much of it had been lost without her presence...and without Reaver. But he was no longer the same and something was still holding her back. She placed her hand over the bright purple eye. This gem in her head, the one that had allowed Azure to watch her life, it was somehow important. She remembered seeing it somewhere but that portion of her memory was gone. It seemed Reaver suffered memory loss as well...for he no longer knew her. "We have failed you little one." She whispered to Edoiun, knowing he would hear her one way or another. "The beings here...they are so different from the other satellites." She sighed. "We cannot have another Mars."

Fred's head twitched violently for a minute as he continued to sputter out nothing but nonsense but it was when she looked him in the eyes and placed her fingers against his mask, he looked up at her and took a deep breath, whispering. " Old Master..... He's coming tonight.... We are doomed... "
---------------------------
Before para could speak, Cir interrupted. " It is decided then. The boy shall be cleansed of his curse and turned into the being he was intentionally meant to be. He shall help me find a way to restore the Earth Spirit and in return, I shall help him master his new found abilitys. " He said, turning and looking at Edoiun.
Para didn't feel he had much of a say-so in decideding his own fate but it would help benifit everyone and everything for the better. He'd lose his connection to the corpus and they would never accept him afterwards, thinking him just another human. In return, He become a wolf just like his lover and he'd be granted all sorts of new powers and would help fix the world.
Sounded like a bunch of BS they were feeding him into trying to coax him. If Willow though agree'd with it, maybe it woudn't be as bad as he imagined. He just looked up to everyone and nodded.
--------------------------
Thallis chucked, sliding his hands down her waist. " Why should we wait till tonight? We are alone here afterall.... "

"Kail." Kaie hissed. She gave Fred a peck on his mask to soothe his fear. "Notify everyone that needs to be told Fred. In fact, get ahold of Shade if you can and tell him his time has run out. I am positive he is already aware of the stirrings. Go, be quick. There is much to be done." She turned to Gray. How could he understand this? She had tried explaining before that she was a reincarnation of herself...but that had not really worked so well. Thus telling him that her chaotic half-brother had risen from the dead and was about to terrorize the world didn't seem quite sane. So, she took a deep breath and began to get dressed.
"Remember when I told you that I would have to face my past? The one that is not exactly from this era...the one from before? It was when we first met and I was struggling with my split powers. Well...let's say something happened recently while I was away that has merged all my abilities...I am as strong as I once was and and old...demon has returned to lay a blight upon this world. He tried once before and failed...this time, he has friends in 'high places'. Friends that are not of this plane...or even from this planet for that matter."
She paused as she pulled on a black spaghetti string top then continued. "Let me be frank. Sh*t is about to go down and we will need all our strength to defend against it. You must get your friends ready. Get Ashe and Violet....tell them they need to be prepared. Tell them something is coming that is bigger than anything they have encountered." Kaie set her hand to his face once she had placed a pair of black leather boots on beneath her deep blue denim jeans. "Gray, I have to go but I will return real soon. There is someone I must speak with."
<>
Edoiun nodded. "Then let us begin." He stretched his wooden fingers towards Para and gently lifted him into the branches of the large oak in which his spirit had taken residence for this short span in time. "I cannot express the fear which will overcome you." He spoke quietly, using the leaves as his voice so they were not as rough as the tree's creaks and groans. "You will feel pain, but it will quickly pass." Without further adieu Edoiun pierced Para's skin with thousands of wooden needles and sapped the corpus from his body, storing it in a large seed within the old oak. As soon as it began it was over. Where his skin had been pricked there were little spots of blood but the wolf in him was already healing that.
He gently set the boy down on the grass and gazed at Cir. "Be careful with him. His first hours are his weakest and he will be vulnerable as he explores his new abilities. A bit of his corpus self still remains in head, lingering like a bad memory but it will leave...in time. His corpus self is secure within this old bark. I must leave you now. My time in this form grows short." Edoiun glanced to Willow. "Thank you lygara." And then, the tree re-rooted itself and became silent.
Willow looked over Para, touching his skin and wiping away the tiny pin pricks of blood. It was now that she could smell it..."Wolf?" Her voice quaked. He had some lygara blood in him. Not lycan, but real and true LYGARA. "Para?"

" As agreed, you shall come with me tomorrow morning and help me with the preparations for my ritual. In return, I'll teach you to harness your new ability's. " He said hovering over the two lovers. " Enjoy tonight for there is much work to be done. " he whispered, crouching down next to Para. He leaned back up and turned to Vic and Jugg who were kneeling next to the still fidgeting Celene. " You two grab her and bring her with us, we have much work before the sun rises.
With that, they disappeared into the dark boundaries of the forest.
---------------------------
Para laid there for a moment, thinking to himself he had died. The pain was unimaginable, like having his inner self being ripped out with rusty fishhooks. Once it subsided and he opened his eyes, he looked up and found himself in Willows lap. He tried to get up but it was like his body was ignoring what he told it. He could manage a twitch here and there but couldn't manage more than moving a finger.
" Did it work? Am... am I normal now? "
-------------------------
Hmmm... Lots of fun. "

Para asked if he was normal but to her nose he did not smell himself. It was as if another being had taken over and there was no Para remaining. However, his eyes spoke the volumes that his limbs could not. He was confused, afraid...he was her Para. She smiled weakly as it was hard to find the expression with him laying limp in her lap. "You smell like lygara." She blurted before frowning. "I forgot that Rencov told me your father was a lycan. However, he failed to mention you come from lygara. We are older than lycans, older than shifters. We are the true children of nature. Giving and receiving freely. There is great power in our souls. It fuels our rage...and our love." Her warm eyes finally smiled. "If normal is lygara...then yes, it worked. I cannot trace any infection. You are free."
<>
Una smirked but suddenly her amber eyes went wide and she began to thrash in the pool. Her hands clamped into fists and veins on her neck proceeded to bulge. This all happened in a matter of seconds before her face calmed, her eyes changed color and the human's entire being altered before the Dark King's eyes. The voice that spoke from her mouth was ultimately not her own. "Hello Father." Kaie whispered, unaccustomed to the body she was using as host. She had to be quick, this was not a method of communication to be trifled with and her lack of experience could hurt the woman she was controlling which was something she did not desire to occur.
"You can sense, can't you? Ignoring the turmoil below then?" Her words were curt, strong and concise. As Kaie's had always been. Her very aura emanated from Una. "I understand this is unprecedented but you should know that I have had a vision. It haunts me...and it will upset you. My virindi claims Kail comes to my plane this day...but also I have seen Para covered in blood. I cannot stay in this body much longer...tell me Father, what can I do? I am...I am without a solution this time. I am trying...but nothing works. No choice...no path...it is all distorted. Kail blocks my visions...always in the way. What can I do? We have EVERYTHING needed to summon you and yet you do not return..."
