"Perhaps..." He gave a laugh. "Too polite...never thought I'd see the day she'd be called to polite. Is a little odd though, I must admit. And you're right...it's not good to stress her. Right now we can potentially fix what's broken, but only because it appears cracked. If shattered though...well shattered things are harder to fix no matter how much you try..." Eclipse padded his way out to Saradin's patch of well dug up dirt and laid down next to it, resting his head on his paws, letting his wings curl around himself in a sort of bedding. He'd rather truthfully be with Saradin more than Aurahkah right now. Every time he thought of her not remembering him, it just hurt to much.

"I think its because shes thinking like she did in front of her father. She was his puppet as I recall. Shes gone back to being afraid of failing him, and worse, shes confused by us." He said as the box hit the ground and Saradin crawled through the field, organizing and building rows for the future plantings. "We'll just have to avoid knocking her off any ledges." Saradom set himself in for the long haul, seeding this field may take most of the night.

"Saradin Phoenix my friend....not even I know that story fully. But she doesn't have to be afraid of failing us at all, if only she could see that. I don't intend to let her just 'ride this out'. We'll get the Aurahkah we truly know back. It'll just take time." So saying he gave a soft snort and merely watched Saradin work.

((Sleep...it's good for your health...or so I'm told...))

Alexanders bare feet slapped on the cold marble floor as he paced to and fro infront of his bed bear chested his hands folded behind his back and his head turned to the floor. The room was dark for as usule during the day becuase of the thick lead lined red cutrans that had been dralwn closed. He had been here for hours wateing for nah to stirr in the night and the man to return to her hear to cause trouble"siyo t'yin usstan orn inbal ukta"

What Eclipse said. It made so much sense. If the name she knew and the corpse in her basement were the same thing, then perhaps it could be the cause of all this. If she had gone through such great lengths to get rid of that name in the first place. But she couldn't confirm the information in her mind. All she had to go on was what others were saying. At this point she was back in her room, staring at the wall where she had scrawled that name in bloody hieroglyphs. It practically screamed at her to make connection about her mind just wouldn't connect the dots, so to speak.

Eclipse gave a whimper from behind her, gaining her attention. He couldn't avoid her forever. And she didn't know that he was wired into her mind, and kept tabs on what she was feeling. And everything she was feeling was so upsetting that it made him sick to his stomach and his heart ache. "I'm sorry if what I said, about what happened to you, earlier upset you. But I speak the truth. He did do those things to you. And my instincts just tell me that he is the one you have down in that room Aurahkah. But Saradin's right...I shouldn't blame you for any of it. Both the things you can and cannot remember."

"You don't have to be in here trying to make me feel better. I think the general feeling about me around here is...rahter upset with me. Despite what you think and say. I know I'm upsetting you all. I can't remember you, you've supposedly been with me forever, I can't remember Vincent, and supposedly I love him, I can't remember anyone else and they're supposed to be my family. I do and yet I don't...it's so frustrating..."She paused for a moment and crossed her arms. "I may look down at the floor a lot now but that's only because I can't stand to see the way you all look at me."

"We don't look at you the way we do because of you. Just because of what's happened to you. You're supposed to be a lively witty woman who won't take no for an answer and is up to any challenge whatsoever. You tease one moment and then comfort us the next. Taking nothing from no one when they try to upstage you. You always put your best foot forward and you stick by whomever needs you. That is the Aurahkah you turned into from this one that you think you are now."

"And if you can't get that one back? What becomes of me then Eclipse?"

"Don't talk like that. You've never let anything beat you or any of us before, I'm not letting you start now. I'm tired of seeing you upset and confused and crying. It is my job to protect you and I will do so and I am going to help rectify this."

"Perhaps..."

Niah stirred. She felt the familiarness of silk against her cheek and opened her eyes. She was not in her own room. Panic began to rise up inside her until she realized the black silk sheets belonged to Alex. She wondered briefly and then remembered her room was....no more. Yawning she sat up and shook back her hair. She looked beside her but Alex wasn't next to her. Blinking her sleepy eyes she saw him pacing in front of her. Smiling at him she said, "What's got you all wound up?" She waited for him to answer and began to comb her hair with her fingers.

Saradin's eyes saw only darkness. No light could reach him as he was, yet he could still feel the warmth of day clearly. Where was he? What had he been doing? Testing his body, he found that it still functioned and he moved almost reflexively to try to smear away what blocked his sight. Dirt. This was becoming an all to common occurence, falling asleep in the middle of something. Sitting upright he at least discovered that his work was mostly done, and the memory was slowly coming back how hed lain down for just a moment. "I cant make a habit of this." He said as he climbed to his feet and dusted himself off.

Meanwhile, miles away two pairs of leathery wings glided over the air currents, beating occasionaly to gain altitude. One pair black and the other white, the pair of humanoids were hunting for someone.
"Are you sure this is where he went?" Was the voice of an aging man accompanied with a hint of hidden strength.
"Do you think I'd be wrong about this?" The reply of a focused woman, steaming mad but also worried.
"Oh right, Im talking to a fanatic."

She tilted her head to the side and looked at him. His green eyes were full of worry. She knew he was concerned about the man who kept plaguing her nightly. "I'm still a little tired but I didn't have the dream. Surprisingly he decided to leave me alone tonight." She shook her head and her hair moved out of her face. "You look tired. Now that I'm awake and you don't have to do guard duty why don't you get some sleep. I have some research to do." She leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "Don't worry. I'll be fine."

Eclipse laughed as paws touched soft grass. "Saradin Phoenix slept in the dirt? How unbecoming of you." He padded over to Saradin, giving his ebony wings a flap to straighten out his feathers. "You're as dirty as my paws are...you know, if you're tired..there are much more comfortable places than a pile of dirt." He gave another laugh and then looked over the ridge of his wings. "Come on now, you need the fresh air. Look who I got to come out."

Aura stepped from the manor, following Saradin's path, eyes slightly down at the grass. She shrugged, raising he gaze and brushing a few loose strands from her eyes and gave a nod to the wolf, then a smile over to Saradin.

Alexander shrugged"thats good to hear, I was hopeing that you would get a fulll nights sleep" He suppoed that he did need some sleep after all she was awake and going all day without sleep wouldnt do him any good." Very well" He brogutht up his legs onto the bed slideing under the covers" What, if you dont mind my asking are you going to study?"

Niah got off the bed. She turned and said, "I don't mind. I'm going to see if I can find any mention of the name. He had to be somewhere in Egypt. I just have to see if I can find him." She stopped. Looking down at the skin on her arm she saw the hieroglyphs clearly. "Something tells me he was important...and he should be somewhere in teh library." She looked at him and said, "I'll tell you everything I find out later. I promise. Now get some sleep." Turning she walked out the door closing it behind her.

Both of them touched down inside the courtyard, their wings lifting circles of dirt as they closed in on the grassy floor. One was an old man, who would seem to either senile or insane as he stood there smiling at everything letting odd eccentricities float about his head. His skin was all but bone white, while the short hair that spiked up and back on his head and the tuft of beard the hung an inch below his chin was of a similar hue but glinted with some hint of crimson when struck in the sunlight. Standing majestic and refined, he crossed his arms patiently while his long white robe shook in a winter breeze. His eyes were a stark icy blue, and inside could be seen the silhouette of a glowing flame, unmoving but still alive. The other was a woman, apparetntly quite irate and ready to knock down anything or anyone that stood between her and her goal. Her sharp beautiful features contrasted to the anger that shone through her expression as long strands of her blonde hair fell over her eyes.

"So... do we knock or just go in?"
"Go in. I'm getting my book back."
"Calm down, its only been a couple weeks. I'm sure hes not going to forget so soon."
"He forgot us before didnt he?"
"Whoa whoa whoa... simmer. Have you been going to your anger management classes?"

Niah reached up for another book. She was really getting frustrated. Everywhere she looked she failed. There was no mention of him anywhere. She had searched through every book about Egypt and found nothing. There were books with pages torn out here and there and she had a suspicion that those pages were the ones she needed most. Slamming yet another book closed seh cursed. "Dammit. Aura what happened to all your books?" then seh came upon Aura's journal. Sitting down she began to read. When she finaly finished she was shocked. This didnt' make any sense. THe last entry was about her as a High Priestess. It wsa like someone had rearranged her life. And there were quite a few pages ripped out close to the middle of the book. She tossed the journal across the room in her anger. Then she put her head in her hands. Well now she had what she had started with....a name. She sighed and yawned. Standing up she put the books back and slowly calmed down. Then she walked back to Alex's room. She was getting tired. Coming into teh room she saw him sleeping and smiled. Slowly she slipped under the covers and snuggled against him. She moved in between his arms and fell asleep wiht a smile on her face.

Saradin scratched at the back of his head and tried not to seem as peculiar as he did at the moment, covered in dirt and grass stains. "Well, comfort hasnt exactly been one of my priorities, I figured youd know that Eclipse. And Aurah, I hope the day finds you well." In his orderly fashion, Saradin gathered up all of the things that hed left scattered about in the soil and hoisted it up with him to be put away. "I was just repairing and updating the garden... so to speak."
