DragonMan Ren In case you haven't kept up on the relevant legislation, we do highly restrict magic use. It's just that non-licensed people still manage to learn some magic. Sometimes it's due to unearthing strange scrolls, or yes, tomes. Mostly, it's demon-taught. That's why we have a specific Magic Division. oh hey, unearthed writings? WOW maybe we should stop writing this nonsense down and burying it places where whiny goth kids can find it, and with the aid of the oijji boards learn how to distroy their small village communities. Or better still, let's just stop writing it down and leaving it where unauthorized people can get ahold of it, distroy any other non-authorized copies, and the problem will eventually take care of itself.

Well, that's the thing. We haven't been in a position to regulate magic forever. We confiscate anything not in the hands of a Shadow Government licensed caster, and penalize anyone trying to pass along magical writings unlicensed, but, for instance, those crazy Egyptian sorcerers thousands of years ago didn't know and didn't care about our rules of conduct.

We confiscate anything not in the hands of a Shadow Government licensed caster, and penalize anyone trying to pass along magical writings unlicensed, but, for instance, those crazy Egyptian sorcerers thousands of years ago didn't know and didn't care about our rules of conduct. Well that's just lazyness on your part, c'mon man get with it.

Although it is alot of fun reading the collective works of Cthulhu, my dial-up cries with each line of pixels. ;_; I'll have to miss out this time.
In other news, my picture is without arms because I was lazy and only felt like doing a profile shot of myself *emotear*-ing from a debate about how cute it would be if I *emotear*-ed a few pages back. :3
I think it came out very well. ^_^

I mean, we've far from caught all the illegal casters out there, but at least it's not like the 80's anymore. rolleyes Jeez... remember those times, guys? I barely got any sleep because every time I layed down for some shut-eye there'd be a call in about some kid who'd tried to brew up a love potion to slip his ninth grade crush and accidentally woke up in a delirious haze with his hand magically fused to his shlong in a bright purple aura, singing What A Wonderful World at the top of his mystically amplified voice. I have trouble figuring out who had more work to do in those days, me running around reversing harmful spells and making arrests, or D-CUps hushing it all up.
